Lady Dawgs poised for clean sweep Three down and one to go!. The Lady Dawgs Camp Humphreys Post-Level Women’s Basketball team is hoping to complete a clean sweep of Korea-wide Basketball Tournaments this coming weekend as Humphreys hosts the end-ofseason Post-Wide Men’s & Women’s Basketball tournaments at the Super and MP Hill gymnasiums. The Lady Dawgs won the Pre-Season, Martin Luther King and Eighth Army Championships already this season and enter the end-of-season test as the top woman’s seed. Casey enters the Men’s Tournament as the No. 1 seed, followed by Osan and Camp Humphreys. Action is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, and the public is invited. Children’s Theatre coming March 26 The Missoula Children’s Theatre will be here this month, affording all youngsters in grades K-12 the opportunity to appear on stage in a performance of the Jungle Book. Every child who tries out will get a part and will appear in two performances on the CAC stage on Saturday, March 26. Youth Services will be sending information home providing details. Baseball Umpires needed Qualified umpires are needed to work both Youth and High School baseball games. If you are an experienced baseball official and have your own equipment, please contact Kim, Chi-Hyon at the Super Gym (753-8811).
Wanted: Pictures of ‘Our Kids’ April is Month of the Military Child and Area III Family & MWR annually celebrates the occasion by running photos of Our Kids in Happenings and Family Strong magazines. Individual shots, group shots, Family shots … we don’t care. And we also don’t care if the kids are here or somewhere else. We even accept photos of Grandkids! Open to both U.S. and Korean Families. Send your photos to ‘area3mwrmarketing@korea.army.mil’ by April 10. No more than two photos per child, please. Also, do not send links to photo shareware programs.
KIBA Tournament entries now open Entries are being accepted for the KIBA (Korean Interservice Bowling Association) St. Patrick’s Alibi Bowling Tournament set for March 20 at the Strike Zone. Tournament features Singles, Doubles and All-Events. An identical tournament is scheduled for Yongsan Lanes March 19. Please call the Strike Zone at 7545636
Right Army Night March 17 Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with an oldfashion Right Arm Night at Tommy D’s Thursday, March 17 starting at 1700. This activity is planned for the entire Camp Humphreys Community – military and civilian alike, regardless of Unit. There will be Irish music, green beer and lots of fun.
