The School Liaison Officer's primary role is to support the military parent and child with incoming/outgoing transition issues and to ensure the child receives the best education possible while their parent(s) serve in their current assignment. The Summer Youth Sponsorship Program for 2015, "Welcome Fridays" sessions will be held on June 26, July 2, 10, 17, 24, 31 and August 7. This program will give school-age children, new to Yongsan Garrison, an overview of the schools, SAC and MS/Teen programs and the Garrison. At the end of the entire 101Days of Summer, the unit with the most points earned will receive a 101 Days of Summer trophy by BOSS.

Summer-long individual/team unit competitions utilizing on-base facilities which contribute to healthy lifestyles and achieve physical/mental readiness. The event will include summer-long series of individual/team unit competitions such as 3 on 3 basketball, 7 on 7 flag football, dodgeball, ping pong, pool, video game tournaments, and more! Open to Single and Unaccompanied Service Members of All Branches & KATUSA Soldiers
