ind the hidden Rooster in this month’s Community Connection and you will be entered into a drawing for one of three USAG Yongsan Family and MWR Hat. To enter, just send an email identifying the correct location to blair.l.brachear.naf@mail.mil. The drawing will be held on the 7th working day of each month. Participants are eligible to win only once every three months. USAG Yongsan Family and MWR personnel and their Family members are not eligible for this contest.

The CDC provides services for children from 6 weeks to Kindergarten and is open from 0545 to 1800, Monday through Friday (except Federal Holidays). Services provided include full-day care and hourly care. Hourly care services are available from 0830-1230, Monday through Friday. Please call the CDC from 0800-1600 to make a reservation.

Parents may reserve hourly care up to 2 weeks in advance and must be enrolled in CYS. If the reservation is not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance a no-show fee of $10 will be assessed. Any family who accrues three (3) no-shows in any six month period will be unable to reserve hourly care during the next six month period. Per Army Regulation parents are limited to a maximum of 20 hours of care per week in hourly care. Reservations can be made by calling the CDC, DSN 738-3404.

Spelling Bee Week 20-24 March, 1600 Children in the School-Age Program are on a journey (week). It’s a journey full of hard work, determination and the opportunity to make memories and friendships that last a lifetime. This journey is the School-Age Spelling Bee Championship. Every year, a speller (or two!) is declared the School-Age Spelling Bee Champion. Their journeys starts here at the School-Age Center or at home. Yearbook Photo Week 20-24 March, 1630 The Yearbook Photo Week is a great activity for children to get involved with, but not all children know the benefits that it can bring them.
