WEEKLY Catch some rays at Splish & Splash Saturday only Free day of year If you’re new and not sure Splish & Splash Water Park is worth the investment in a full or half-season pass, check it out this Saturday (May 26) – the only Free day of the Year. The Water Park is now open for the season – from 1200-2000 Monday-Thursday and 11002000 Friday, Saturday, Sunday and US Holidays. Daily fee is $5 for Individuals and $10 for a US Family. Guests are $15 each. But you can save a bundle by buying a season pass – even if you figure to be just a once or twice a week visitor. The Individual Season Pass is $75 and the US Family Season Pass is $150. That comes out to the price of just 15 visits between now and Sep 9. And if you’re rotating this summer, you can purchase a half-season pass at half price that takes you through July 15. There’s also a special Weekday Pass for Korean Employees for $150. Youth Decide Forum & Dance Saturday The Youth Decide Forum and Dance is scheduled for this Saturday from 1500-1800 at the School Age Center, followed by the Dance at Tommy D’s from 1800-2200. The event is open to students in grades 6-12 and is designed to develop programming, special events and future needs of the Camp Humphreys teenage population. “This is a great opportunity for the students to speak up and contribute their ideas,” said Tiffany Harris, School Age Services director. “Hopefully, we’ll have a large turnout and some great ideas.” Call Harris at 753-8507 (031-690-8507) for further details.

Best Vocal Finals Wednesday @ Tommy D’s The Final round of the Best Vocals at the Hump are scheduled for 1900 Wednesday at Tommy D’s, with weekly winners pairing off to become the “H Factor” Champion and walk away with a $150 AAFES Gift Card and a berth in this year’s Humphreys Rising Star. Cheer on your favorite.

Massage Service returns to Super Gym The therapeutic massage service has returned to the Super Gym, along with a min-beverage service. Massages are available from 10001900 Monday-Saturday, with the beverage service available from 0900-1800. Massages range from $5 to $20, depending on the service and length of the massage.

MEMORIAL DAY RUN CANCELLED – A reminder to everyone that the scheduled Memorial Day 5 and 10K Run has been cancelled because of construction on Perimeter Road. The next run is the Firecracker 5 & 10K scheduled for July 4. BOSS BEACH BLAST – Make your reservations for the June 15-17 BOSS Beach Blast at the Super Gym through your Unit BOSS representative or at Outdoor Rec. Cost is $150 per person which includes round-trip transportation, hotel, some food and activities. This event is restricted to single Soldiers. Call 753-8970 (031-6908970) for more information. YARD SALE – The next Community Yard Sale is planned for Saturday, June 2, at the Commissary Parking Lot. Tables are $10 each, with awnings an additional $10. If you have PCS orders within a 60-day window, tables are $5. Reserve yours by call Outdoor Rec at 753-3013 (031-690-3013). PAINTBALL TOURNAMENT – Camp Humphreys will host a Korea-wide Paintball Tournament June 9. A new Paintball Range is currently under construction, and the tournament will be its kick off event. SUMMER BASKETBALL – Entry deadline for the Summer Intramural Basketball League in May 29. 753-8031 (031-690-8031) for details. COMMUNITY ACTIVITY CENTER – The Community Activity Center at Camp Humphreys is closed through mid-June because of the installation of the new Geothermal heating and cooling system. Officials estimate the CAC will reopen on or about June 19. Meanwhile, BOSS has relocated to the Super Gym and Discover Seoul has relocated to the Business Center at the Camp Humphreys Lodge. See the May Happenings for alternate locations for meetings and unit functions. FMWR SURVEY -- Have you completed your FMWR Survey yet? Individuals who received an invitation to complete the Survey are encouraged to return it as soon as possible.
