2017 Bethel Heights Vineyard Justice Vineyard Chardonnay

Over the years, the chardonnay from Justice Vineyard has developed a haunting sea breeze and saline quality both in the aroma and on the palate that distinguishes it from every other chardonnay in our portfolio. The wine’s freshness, purity, and unique fingerprint are framed by bright acidity and a crystalline structure, perhaps providing a window into the marine sedimentary soils where it is planted. These soils were once layers of sand on the floor of the ocean millions of years ago.

2018 Bethel Heights Vineyard Justice Vineyard Pinot Noir

Much in the way 2017 revealed a new expression of the many faces of Justice Vineyard, the 2018 wine emerged from a completely new section. The dense and brooding block of 667 typically builds the core of this wine. It had all of these attributes amplified in 2018 to the point of losing balance. Its neighboring block, however, was full of lissome charms and purity of expression. So in 2018, it came to pass that Justice Vineyard bears a new countenance: red fruited, sleek, and refined.
