Editor’s Desk Selling Coveting The Holy Spirit recently revealed something amazing to me. Democrats like AOC and Bernie Sanders that are peddling socialism are actually selling you coveting. What do they say? They say the rich have all this money, and need to share with you. They say you deserve the money the rich work really hard for more than they do. This is at its roots selling coveting. They want you covet what other people have, and they want you to help them steal it. They are sinning against two of the Ten Commandments. Trying to make everyone equal in terms of finances is not realistic. Some people save their money while others spend it on frivolous things. We all decide what we do with our money. I know some people eat out every single meal then do not have money for a new car. Others skimp and save on the food to have a nicer vehicle. Will you punish the savers for the wasters? That is what you call fair? How about taking from those that worked harder?
choices. I will not celebrate anyone choosing this sinful lifestyle choice. I will not celebrate anyone peddling sinful behaviors. As for me and my house we will follow the Lord. I know there are some shallow, small minded folks that will be offended by this topic, and this stance. I would rather speak the truth in love than join in rebellion against God. Satan rebelled and it did not go so well for him. What choice will you make? I have made everyone in our family masks so they can go places without getting into trouble. It is absolute insanity that fear mongering, shaking in their boots, cowardly snowflakes are running governments and threatening to steal freedom from Americans in the land of the free if you do not wear a mask out in public. You might get COVID-19 if you don’t wear a mask. You know that disease the fake news media constantly talks about. The same disease that 98% of people recover from in my state. More people continue to die from the flu and other diseases but the fake news media obsesses about it and tries to fear shame everyone into cowering in fear at home. Doing the Instacart part time job has shown me how fearful and easily controllable too many people are in this day and age.
Crafts videos in the future. No idea when that will happen though. Have you made reusable masks for your family? Are you wearing a mask out and about? We see more and more people as we are out and about. I hope they open the craft stores soon. Paul, Noah and Peter want the gaming stores to be opened soon as well. To us all businesses are essential. I decided I would help these poor little shivering people out by wearing a mask when I delivered their groceries to them. I also saw the writing on the wall and realized it would be needed in stores. I made masks for myself and everyone in my family. I followed the guidelines provided. I found leftover material that matched the personality of each person. Paul’s has Mario and Donkey Kong on it. Noah’s has tractors on it. Peter’s has frogs on it. Well at least the side facing out. The side facing in is a different material with a different pattern on it. I have pretty flowers, butterflies, and more on some of the masks for myself. I went with frilly girly things that I wanted to wear. We wash these masks after using them. I think it is cool how many different patterns can be used on masks. This is a new fashion that I would have never projected. I know of people selling masks and making money. Fire me off an email if you want to purchase one of my creations.

In my humble opinion part of the problem nowadays is not enough people have a Biblical education. There are people who claim to be Christians who are all in favor of sinning in the form of coveting what their neighbor has. Some have gotten downright nasty about it too. Mixing coveting and stealing is shocking to me. How can they peddle two sins and there are people that embrace this open rebellion against God.
Paul had a really good idea recently. Create a mask with the Family Friendly Gaming logo on it. We could share our love and support of Family Friendly Gaming with masks. What do you think of that idea? I would have to figure out how to make that happen since we are talking about getting that image on a pretty small space. I am sure it is possible. Family Friendly Gaming (FFG) was created in March of the year of our Lord 2005 as the first ever Christian video game magazine. The goal of Family Friendly Gaming is to report on video games from the family view point. Family Friendly Gaming takes a fair and balanced approach to all news, previews, reviews, interviews, features, and other articles found within. The secular video game media reports mainly on the most morally bankrupt games and call those games good. The major secular media reports on the bad side of video games mainly. Most other Christian media outlets claim video games turn the player into a zombie, or they completely worship video games. Family Friendly Gaming reports the good, and bad side effects to video games. It is the belief of the owners that readers are smart enough to come to their conclusions without those in the media handing opinions to them. Those of us at Family Friendly Gaming believe by giving you the facts, you can decide for yourself. There are plenty of really good video games on the market that teach wonderful lessons. Both inside the Christian video game market, and from non-Christian video game developers. Family Friendly Gaming seeks out these video games to bring them to your attention. Since it is unknown before playing a game how family friendly it is; it is possible that this magazine will preview a game, and then the review will expose problems previously unknown. Family Friendly Gaming promises to always ask the question: “how God feels about certain video games.” God’s opinion on the matter is more important than any mere mortal. Which is why the rest of the industry does not influence FFG. Page 7

Selfishness Dear Mr. Bury, In one of your recent games, you stated that selfishness is the reason so many marriages end in divorce. And I agree with you 100%. I am also thankful that my parents have stayed married to this day. But why there is so much selfishness in our world? I think too many people see selfishness as a virtue and selflessness as a form of inferiority. There are several myths about selfless people that need to be eradicated. One myth is that selfless people have no ambition or goals for the
future. Another myth is that selfless people are weak-willed or easily manipulated. The third myth is that selfless people are phony, because they’re simply doing what others want instead of they want (I guess the possibility that selfless people actually enjoy making others happy never enters their minds). Another factor is the push to increase people’s confidence. In some instances, increasing confidence can be helpful. But increasing confidence carries the risk of making people overconfident. And overconfident people feel entitled to slack off when they should work hard, to treat other people badly if they see other people as being beneath them, and to break rules and take foolish chances. In a school or other educational setting, the goal of the instructor is to increase the confidence of the students so they keep trying and perform better. But there are other situations where the goal is to lower people’s confidence. Retail stores install color security cameras with video screens, hire staff to watch people closely, and attach ink tags to clothes in order to reduce the confidence of potential shop-

lifters to absolute zero. Military forces and police departments around the world have the same goal. The safest city on Earth (with the lowest crime rate) is Dubai, and I believe that’s in large part because they have a police department with a large number of extremely fast police cars such as Porsches, Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and the Bugatti Veyron, as well as hoverbikes. Because of this, I believe overconfidence leads to selfishness and a lot of divorces, especially among celebrity couples. They believe that if the person they’re married to leaves them, they can quickly and easily find someone else. But people who believe that they have found the perfect person and have zero confidence that they will find anyone better, those are the people who will do whatever it takes to make their marriage last. kind words of encouragement. All of us here at Family Friendly Gaming appreciate it, and we appreciate you. My opinion on this topic is two fold. The first fold is too many people are focusing on what their flesh wants. When people let their flesh run wild then selfishness will run rampant. Ultimately all they will do will be guided by their own self interests. Juxtapose that to how God commanded us to live. We are to deny ourselves to be more like Christ. That means practicing patience, self control, and more. As people see Christians becoming more like Christ they are immediately drawn to the happiness it brings. They are living for themselves and they are miserable. Anyone getting their way all the time is not happy. The second fold deals with those people attempting to redefine words, history, institutions and more. They have been working for decades on celebrating sinful behavior. They want to rebel against God, and being selfish is just another part of it. The cynical view of the selfish as you referenced shows they are not capable of thinking beyond their own limitations. not understand how anyone can do what we do and help so many millions of people without being properly compensated. They do not comprehend that it is not about compensation. It is about making things better on our planet and pointing people to God. Excellent points on the confidence. When we are thankful for the spouse God put in our lives we are much nicer to them. We appreciate them and show it on a daily basis. It also goes back to the Golden Rule. We want to be treated well so we treat others well. The reverse is true as well. People who treat others horribly
expect to be treated that same way. Hence that is why some people cannot comprehend anyone doing for others with no return expectations.
Support I want to thank you for the dance videos and live streams your family does. They have been great during COVID-19. You guys are hilarious and very entertaining. I love the different entertainment references in many of the live streams. I also love the dance videos. Paul is hilarious dancing in them. Quarantine exercise is the dances you recorded. We have asked Youtube for years to separate out audio and video monetization. YT has never done anything or even acknowledged this problem. It bums me out because I worked so hard on them. Someone else is profiting from my hard work. We could really use all of our YT subscribers to send

Famebit is going away, and I can’t get into Famebit Partner Program because we do not have a Youtube Manager. How do we get a Youtube Manager? That is an invite only program. So it is one of those: “don’t call us, we will call you, and we are never calling you” situations. If that was not enough of a problem, Youtube still refuses to listen to us about separating out the audio and video portions of videos for monetization. All of those dance videos we worked so hard on for so many years -
YT a message that they need to separate out the audio and video monetization so it will be fair. Even though our Twitch channel has not met any of our viewing expectations, it is so much easier to stream there. Youtube makes it very difficult to live stream. Youtube adds complexity that make it easier for the stream to break, cause stress, and irritate you the viewer. With that said we keep looking at ways to stream more often on Youtube.
It really comes down to getting paid for our hard work. We see that our live streams get more views than videos being released daily. So we are definitely looking at doing more of them. I am just concerned with all of the issues YT has with them and how they get way more glitches than the Twitch live streams. If we had the money and time we could definitely do them more often. Age of Selfishness It bothers me on a daily basis to see such open rebellion against God being celebrated. This is truly the age of selfishness. Wherever I look I see people screaming: “Look at me,” “Give me attention,” “Do this for me.” It gets exhausting because I do what I can to help millions. At times it is beyond me to help, or I am exhausted because there are so many hands out, not trying to help out others right beside them. It aggravates me at times. Philippians 2:1-8 Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. 5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset
as Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; 7 rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross! 9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. At times it makes me feel like a doormat. I give and give over and over again. Then the few instances where I need help all of those I have helped scurry away like cockroaches. It can get disheartening at times. I ask questions. Did they not learn from my example? Did they not learn from the example of Jesus Christ? It gets worse when
money is involved. Help others get rich and they have no interest in sharing. They want more from me. They want me to help them make even more money. At times my motivation to help them decreases and diminishes when they are being selfish over and over again. I fight this at times. I wish those being so selfish would actually learn to put others before themselves. I wish they would share instead of hording. I wish they would think of those that helped them to get where they are. God Bless, Paul Bury
PRAYER Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. Nothing I can do of my own power will give me true joy. I believe that You died for my sins. I want to turn from my enslavement to sins, and repent of them. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my personal Lord and Savior. We Would Play That! There are all kinds of cool family friendly video game ideas out there. This column features ideas of video games we would play. We hope games like these are created in the near future. Can you make it happen? The Spanish Flu infected five hundred million people, and fifty million people died. That is a ten percent death rate. The Black Death killed between seventy-five million to two hundred million. It killed off thirty to sixty percent of the European population. There have been other diseases that have killed off a massive amount of people. COVID-19 is tiny compared to those other diseases. As I write this less than one percent of the infected actually die from COVID-19. In the United States more than double the amount of
people are dying from the flu than COVID-19. I can think of a couple of interesting video game ideas related to pandemics. A video game based on pandemics of the past along with the medical technology at that time to combat them. This could be a city builder like game where you try to keep the population safe, and educated. It could also be a hospital game where you are trying to treat the sick without getting your hospital staff sick as well. There could be a geo political game where the country of origin lies about the disease which spreads it faster and causes more people to die. Someone could even make a game based off of COVID-19. Another idea is a video game based off of trying to find a cure for different diseases. Can you come up with a vaccine fast enough to save the human race?
Or will you fail? Maybe the death count shows every single day you do not solve that particular problem. It would add some pressure to get the job done. There could be setbacks like something looks promising but it causes the virus to mutate. The whole debate of shutting down everything because of fear mongering snowflakes could be addressed in a political video game as well. Protestors who want to work could be part of what you face. Will you arrest a mother for taking her child to a park to play? Will you let criminals out of jail because you don’t want them getting sick? Press Conferences could be fun too. Maybe some reporter is grand standing and must be brought down a notch. Maybe the political lies about choosing to not buy ventilators in past years and is not playing politics.

Back in 2008 I reviewed Imagine Fashion Designer on the Nintendo DS. I never got around to Imagine Fashion Designer on the Nintendo 3DS. That it until now. This girls fashion game is exactly what we would expect from a Nintendo 3DS version of a Nintendo DS game. Imagine Fashion Designer on the 3DS looks better and it sounds better. Imagine Fashion Designer on the 3DS has some controversy surrounding it too. The Nintendo DS version had a descriptor for mild suggestive themes. graded in. Imagine Fashion Designer has nice music, good graphics, plenty of outfits, and lack of attire. The modes in Imagine Fashion Designer are My Career, Free Play, Multiplayer, My Collection, and My Profile. There is local play in Imagine Fashion Designer for two family members. There is also a Streetpass function available in Imagine Fashion Designer on the Nintendo 3DS. We can look at outfits in 3D in Imagine Fashion Designer too. Which is pretty cool. Even though it says we can play with just a controller. Joycons are also required so Pro Controller players of Gamecube controller players must adapt. die early and often while you learn the game. Then you will find yourself surviving much longer. Thankfully chatters gave me tips on how to survive better in Subnautica. I really appreciate our viewers. The three main things we do in Subnautica is scavenge, craft, and survive. We can pilot submarines and build underwater bases in Subnautica. The graphics in Subnautica look fantastic. There are some wild creatures in Subnautica too. We are on an alien planet so the game developer was able to go crazy with their imagination on
what creatures to create. The issues families can have with Subnautica are bad language, and violence. Some of these animals will attack us. Some of the bigger animals could swallow a human whole. Which can be a scary situation if you know what I mean. Subnautica can be frustrating at first. All in all I enjoyed my time with Subnautica on the Playstation 4. boss battles. I found some regular fights harder than some boss battles personally. That was on the normal mode too. Final Fantasy VII Remake looks gorgeous and the music is amazing. Gone are the turn based battles. We now hack and slash at the enemies until they go away. We can also use items, magic, and abilities. That bar must build before we can do it. It feels weird to hack away, and then cycle through multiple characters to use skills, items, and magic to me. Final Fantasy VII Remake is only the first disc of the original game, which was on three discs. It is unknown how many more parts there will be or when they will be released. In other ways MLB The Show 20 moves the franchise forward. The controls in MLB The Show 20 take a step backwards. Why implement controls from the failed 2K baseball franchise? The amount of content in MLB The Show 20 takes a step forward. We are finally getting back to how much content we had in previous MLB The Show video games. There is music in MLB The Show 20 that your family could find offensive. I am shocked the ESRB missed that entirely. Thankfully the music can be turned off in MLB The Show 20. I am extremely thankful Family Friendly Gaming had the money to purchase Dragonball Z Kakarot on the Xbox One after the failures of the PR and Marketing people representing this game. There are geek out moments in Dragonball Z Kakarot, and there are total cringe moments in this video game. Much of the DBZ storyline is included in Dragonball Z Kakarot. There are some things missing like what happened on Snake Way for example. The issues families will have with Dragonball Z Kakarot are violence, gore, lack of attire, enticement to lust, bad language, and more. Dragonball Z Kakarot has the DBZ religious beliefs on the afterlife which are pretty odd.

Dragonball Z Kakarot has certain characters being brought back to life like was done in the anime. Fights take time in Dragonball Z Kakarot. Players must grind for levels to fight many of the characters. The grinding in certain parts of Dragonball Z Kakarot are obnoxious. Take for example the first time Goku fights Vegeta. It is annoying to grind before that battle. I found it nearly impossible to win without grinding. Why would the developer create that situation? I do not mind grinding if there is a steady learning curve, and the game gives me things to easily grind with. Dragonball Z Kakarot misses the boat there. We get to play a plethora of different characters while going through the storylines in Dragonball Z Kakarot. The world map in Dragonball Z
Kakarot is huge and we can go a variety of places and do a ton of things. There are exceptions though. Remember that first Goku versus Vegeta fight? We are limited to where we can go at that point in time. Why? I had such trouble grinding because of that short sidedness. Blocking is essential in Dragonball Z Kakarot. So is training. Certain attacks cannot be blocked which means we have to be strong enough to withstand the attack. I enjoy fighting in Dragonball Z Kakarot. It felt a lot like the anime television show. I love the open world concept and feel it fits this franchise perfectly. What other anime franchises will get this treatment? - Peter

It is kind of funny that DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Season Four has had so many changes in cast that a couple of characters talk about being what is left of the original crew. I suspect the writers have had the same level of turnover as well. For some odd reason in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Season Four they decide to try and be a musical. At least for a couple of episodes. It is sad to see this show flounder so badly that they are trying anything to bring in viewers. Here are my thoughts on what they are doing wrong. Read my reviews of the past seasons. No wonder the characters in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Season Four are constantly drinking. They can’t handle this garbage either. Four. I find it funny that rebellious people are angry at other rebellious people. One would think they would get along. The attacks on people with good morals is probably why this show is flopping so badly. I never understood why certain people think they can be mean and hateful to the super majority and expect to be rewarded for it. The same with all of the rebellion against God. Then get mad at God for not protecting you during your rebellion against Him. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Season Four and Supergirl Season Four seem to be fighting it out to be the most radical far leftist propaganda in the DC Universe. Supergirl is winning right now. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Season Four is pushing for it though. It took me 677 minutes to trudge through DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Season Four. ten episodes that takes 435 minutes to watch. There are two bonus features in Krypton The Complete Second Season. They are Villains Modes of Persuasion, and The Fate of Superman. Krypton The Complete Second Season ends in a way that Superman never existed in the first place. Which makes me wonder about the entire paradox situation. We finally meet Jor El in Krypton The Complete Second Season as a baby. General Zod’s motivations make sense at first. That is until he turns into a complete tyrant. It is neat to see certain characters sacrifice themselves in Krypton The Complete Second Season for others.
Brainiac being inside Zeg El’s head is a concept that has been used in other DC Comics and television shows. Krypton The Complete Second Season had potential and squandered it. Lobo is one of the worst characters in Krypton The Complete Second Season in terms of family friendly content. To me Krypton The Complete Second Season is in the ‘R’ rating if it were a movie. Some major characters die and come back in Krypton The Complete Second Season. Others stay dead. Only super comic book fanboys should watch this show. - Paul

This professional wrestling video game is considered to be one of the best wrestling video games of all time by a great many people. Do we go with the herd here at Family Friendly Gaming? I wanted to check this game out. I like how they did the Royal Rumble in WWF No Mercy. The modes in WWF No Mercy are Exhibition, Royal Rumble, Pay Per View, King of the Ring, Guest Referee, Ladder Match, and Ironman Match. We can play in a Single Match, Tag Match, Triple Threat Match, Handicap Match, and Cage Match. The controls are pretty good in WWF No Mercy. Learning them was a bit of a challenge at first. used to increase your violent tendacies. WWF No Mercy can also increase aggression levels. At the same time WWF No Mercy can be used to eliminate real world violence. If the combatants are mature enough to realize they do not carry over the fake into the real. Noah and I had some fun playing WWF No Mercy on the Nintendo 64. Certain characters in WWF No Mercy are better than others. I played WWF No Mercy by myself and was able to dominate with Stone Cold Steve Austin against most other opponents. WWF No Mercy does not show you in the menu screens who is better. You just have to know the wresters from that era. A lot of neat little things were done like the entrances, and crowd reactions. WWF No Mercy is better in many game play ways than the current 2K Sports WWE video games in my opinion. - Paul

We can get some serious air in Jet X2O too. What do we do while up there? We need to do tricks. Those tricks are extremely important in Jet X2O. Why is that? They give us the boost we need to compete. Jet X2O is insanely difficult. I raced and raced for hours and still could not win. I could get better but the computer controlled characters on the easiest settings just kept leaving me behind over and over again. What that means

is the learning curve in Jet X2O is a cliff in front of your face once you landed on the beach. The issues in Jet X2O are violence, lack of attire, and enticement to lust. The computer controlled characters really liked to knock me around while I was racing. They would make sure I missed going between the pilons to get more boost. They would also mess me up while trying to get around those corners. The controls in Jet X2O are already tough enough without the NPCs messing around with us at the same time.
Two family members can race in Jet X2O at the same time. The races in Jet X2O take forever. There are tons of multiple paths to take as well. I am not sure if they are supposed to be shortcuts or not. My hat is off to Sony for trying to do a wave race video game. I also purchased Jet X2O really cheap used. Even with that low price point Jet X2O is not worth it in my opinion. Jet X2O gave me frustration, aggravation, and irritation. I did not have fun with this game even from the beginning. I like the idea of the longer race. I wish Jet X2O controlled better. - Paul
