Strong Seller's Market

Strong Seller's Market

The market has been cooling off a bit in recent weeks, as more homes are available and demand is less. However, the market is still notably in the Seller’s zone so we haven’t yet seen prices move lower as a result. It may take a few more weeks of slack demand for prices to reflect and begin to fall. Expect this condition if the index falls to the Buyer’s zone.

School Goals

State Goals

Safe & Welcoming Environment

- Shared vision and practices for PLTs that includes using data to inform instruction and impact student learning

The Oregon Department of Education is partnering with school districts and local communities to ensure a 90% ontime, four year graduation rate by 2025. To progress toward this goal, the state will prioritize efforts to improve attendance, provide a well-rounded education, invest in implementing culturally responsive practices, and promote continuous improvement to close opportunity and achievement gaps for historically and currently underserved students.

We celebrate the diversity of our families, our staff, the rich language, and the cultural assets each person brings to our District. We honor and uphold the right to freedom of speech and expect individuals to exercise that right responsibly. The District will be steadfast in providing a safe and welcoming environment for ALL.

- Improved school climate to become more culturallyinclusive and address the needs of all students - Effective instruction, based on student data including a response to intervention model to support academics

About Our School BULLYING, HARASSMENT, AND SAFETY POLICIES

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

PARENT ENGAGEMENT

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

We strive for our school to be free from discrimination, safe and healthy. Each student is entitled to come to school in an environment in which learning is valued and disruptions are minimized. Our discipline philosophy is designed to produce behavioral changes that will enable students to develop the self discipline necessary to remain in school and to function successfully in their educational and social environments. Lessons in regard to prevention of, and appropriate response to, acts of harassment or bullying are taught within our school and all entities are encouraged to report any bullying and harassment to school officials.

- Leadership opportunities for upper grades

Two-way communication and active engagement is key. We have activities throughout the year where families are invited to join us in learning together. Parent volunteers are welcome and valued. Please visit our school website for more specific information about our various activities. We have community liaisons that support Spanish and Russian families. In addition, we access telephonic language interpretation and schedule outside interpreters as needed to support families from all other language backgrounds.
