Slight Seller's Advantage

The market has started cooling and prices have been flat for several weeks. Since we’re in the Seller’s zone, watch for changes in MAI. If the MAI resumes its climb, prices will likely follow suit. If the MAI drops consistently or falls into the Buyer’s zone, watch for downward pressure on prices.

School Goals

State Goals

Safe & Welcoming Environment

At Fruitdale, all students will make academic growth. We begin tracking student data during the first few weeks of school and develop individualized learning opportunities for each and every student. Teachers work collaboratively to use ever changing data throughout the year and adjust teaching as needed. We strongly believe that the resources dedicated to elementary students should be utilized in the most efficient way to promote academic growth for all. All students will be given intervention and enrichment opportunities.

The Oregon Department of Education is partnering with school districts and local communities to ensure a 90% ontime, four year graduation rate by 2025. To progress toward this goal, the state will prioritize efforts to improve attendance, provide a well-rounded education, invest in implementing culturally responsive practices, and promote continuous improvement to close opportunity and achievement gaps for historically and currently underserved students.

First and foremost, students need to feel like they are in a safe and loving environment to learn. We provide 100% of our students free breakfast and lunch and we have a healthy snack at morning recess time. We have a schoolwide PBIS program that is also integrated with socialemotional lessons to enhance students’ understanding of their own feelings and the emotions of others. We greet students with a smile every morning. The positive and welcoming climate of Fruitdale is a top priority of our staff.

School Goals

State Goals

Safe & Welcoming Environment

Our mission is providing the support necessary for all students to graduate college and career ready. Our continued focus will be to increase graduation rates, freshman on-track rates, and student attendance; and to strengthen customer service and a culture of care for all students. We will meet these goals through collaboration, PLCs, and a strong and detail oriented Multi-tiered System of Support (MTSS). These collective efforts will help ensure our students are equipped with the skills needed for a successful transition beyond high school.

Our core values of Respect, Integrity, Service and Engagement are threaded into our learning environments, encompassing support for the whole child while strengthening a family and community atmosphere. Our staff are trained in trauma informed care and partner with mental health providers to help meet the needs of our students. We use active supervision, PBIS, and intervention teams. In addition, our liaison with local law enforcement, community supports, youth organizations and social services ensures the safety and security of our students.
