The market remains in a relative stasis in terms of sales to inventory and prices have been relatively stable for a few weeks. However, inventory is sufficiently low to keep us in the Seller’s Market zone so watch changes in the MAI. If the market heats up, prices are likely to resume an upward climb.

Safe & Welcoming Environment
We focus on high academic expectations and providing a welcoming place where each child belongs. Hoover students continue to show strong academic growth. Our success is due to the work of our teacher teams who set goals, plan instruction, and provide supports and enhancements for all students. We annually review outcomes to set new targets for instruction and learning. Our improvement plan calls for refining our practices to reinforce literacy and mathematics across content areas and within real world applications. We continue to sharpen our skills to ensure all our students meet their goals.
The Oregon Department of Education is partnering with school districts and local communities to ensure a 90% ontime, four year graduation rate by 2025. To progress toward this goal, the state will prioritize efforts to improve attendance, provide a well-rounded education, invest in implementing culturally responsive practices, and promote continuous improvement to close opportunity and achievement gaps for historically and currently underserved students.
At Hoover, we all take responsibility to make others feel welcome and respected. We emphasize this value in our interaction and communication with each other, in the effort we put into our daily work, and in the relationships we build and nurture. Our teachers create strong and caring classroom environments. We stress kindness and courage with explicit instruction to teach students to consider others and to be good citizens. Our behavior team creates and reviews school systems that provide a positive climate for all. We hold the best interests of children at the heart of all our decisions.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
The safety of our students is our first priority. Our staff is trained to be observant, aware, responsive, and positively engaged. School-wide lessons instruct students how to be safe, respectful, and responsible. Specialists work with students to provide support with academic, emotional, and behavioral needs. Our school safety team meets regularly to anticipate and mitigate potential hazards. Our doors are secured at the beginning of each day. All visitors check in at our office before entering the building. All staff is trained annually in safety protocols and practices.
Extracurricular activities help us connect with our students and their families. Hoover students have a variety of opportunities, including student leadership, outdoor education and field trips, academic competitions and celebrations, an annual talent show and art fair, athletic competitions, after-school academic courses, as well as spirit and special interest assemblies. Hoover hosts familyfriendly social events throughout the year. Grade levels sponsor academic spotlight celebrations.
Hoover enjoys a strong and supportive parent community, and we collaborate to help all our students reach their potential. Parents are encouraged to support our work by monitoring their student’s progress, communicating with teachers, volunteering in the classroom and for special events, or simply having lunch with their child in the cafeteria. Hoover has an active and robust Parent/Teacher Organization where volunteers are welcome, and parents are encouraged to engage in whatever capacity they are able.
Hoover communicates with our community through email, text messaging, newsletter, and social media. The Hoover website and Facebook page is updated daily to keep families informed about school events and community opportunities and activities. Safe & Welcoming Environment
NMHS is committed to increased graduation rates, academic achievement, and college and career readiness. We support student success through comprehensive guidance counseling, Pathways, AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) electives & school-wide practices, access to college-level & career and college courses, and academic, behavior, and attendance interventions which include: A2A (Attention to Attendance) Freshman Academy, and teacher teams. As a result, more 9th graders are on track to graduate, and more students graduate.
North Medford High School strives to ensure all students and families feel safe and welcome in our school. NMHS staff conduct school-wide lessons of responsibility with students to establish a positive and supportive culture, and students participate in social justice discussions, which support respectful relationships in the classroom and on campus. Additionally, we actively promote school functions by teachers and students personally inviting families. We also employ bilingual staff in our office, translate all home communication, and provide interpreters for school meetings.
