Since the advent of modern shopping malls, retail has coexisted with entrainment within a shared building—from coffee shops and food courts to movie theaters and ice skating rings. Despite this spatial and programmatic adjacency, shopping experience has not been affected by the impact of the various entertainment programs that have dominated the malls. This project aims to combine the two spaces and experiences through what has been known as ‘retailtainment’ and ‘entertainmerce.’ By adopting various crossprogramming strategies, the project aims to rethink the concept of shopping and retail space as a hybrid architecture that enhances both the user experience as well as the business and commerce associated with it.

Eligible Ways:
Does not Fit Criteria:
In order to enhance the accessibility of all parts of the city and maximize its commercial value, many urban features, such as corridors and overpasses, are integrated into the building, encouraging the public to stay in use and enhancing its publicity.
Cage House
The MILU residence model exacerbate such problems.
All these factors make it harder to build a new residential building. 14
Early in the morning, people exercise and communicate on public platforms, injecting energy into the day.
In the overall network structure, three core tubes are set as the main traffic space within the space between columns. The branched columns suspend the prefabricated frame structure under the main structure, and the residential unit fixed on the frame steel structure. 15
During the lunch break, office workers come to the leisure platform to communicate and relax.
16
Two-dimensional sharing Considering the main activities of young people a day,the point of interest and office are designed specifically, and the kitchen in some rooms are reduced on this basis. Young people always have their own interests and hobbies.

CLIMB THE PARADISE
Collective Memory
At the beginning of construction, factories occupied wetlands and cut down the surrounding trees. Today's transformation is to regenerate these past landscapes in another way and arouse people's memory. There are many residential areas and a kindergartennot far from the base, which prompts us to consider creating a climbing paradise for children of different ages to enjoy themselves. The special obstacles are expected to bring environmental problems caused by pollution to people.

There are many residential areas and a kindergarten not far from the base, which prompts us to consider creating a climbing paradise for children of different ages to enjoy themselves. The special obstacles are expected to bring environmental problems caused by pollution to people.
The two larger factories are separated from the climbing space of multiple ages. The three cylindrical buildings are paved with artificial rocks and metal concrete climbing frames. In the middle of the smaller third factory , which has the function of recreation, a greenhouse is embedded and transplanted into the trees that have been cut down. Some small plant greenhouses scattered around the large factory building echoes the irregularity of the glass house in form, and its interior also restores the wetland ecological scene.

People can either view these small scenes at the ground level on the square or at close range inside the square.
These glass boxes are connected below the ground through smaller tunnels. Adult tourists need to bend down or creep to reach these glass boxes, while children can easily pass through them.

The Royal parking structure is located in the northeast corner of the USC campus. The site is a critical node to communicate inside and outside of the campus. However, the original architecture, which is like the concrete box, is
25
so massive that it may block most of the visual connection and the walking routes. By opening the box, Royal can have more internal and external connections. Passers-by can carry out multi-purpose and activities. At the same time,
the new 'shortcut' also allows them to walk freely, saving a lot of time. For the surrounding buildings, like Cabilan Cour t and the USC International Academy, they will have a closer connection.
EXPLORATION OF PLAN FORMS
Rigid refers to the thick building structues. On the contrary, Soft refers to roofs, lawns and atriums. These two elements collide with each other, providing occupants with a completely new experience.
26
As Rem Koolhaas said, Architecture is the city's infrastructure. To put it simply, architecture can be seen as a part of the city, or an extension of the city. From a broader perspective, landscape is the space where the communication and interaction between people occurs, and the communication and interaction between people is the essence of the city and the meaning of the city's existence.

If we think from urban perspective, as Koolhaas said, architecture itself is city's infrastructure. It can be the break of layer i d e a a n d m o re c o m m u n i c a i to n c h a n c e s brought by ramps. Start from a simple box,
35
then the building began to change the shape, becoming the extension of the bridge or the growth of the ground. People from the outside can enter the building directly from the bridge. At the same time, inside occupants
can also have close contact with the outside nature through the special shapes and openings of the building facade.
The color of the wood creates a warm atmosphere for the interior. As a public rest area, the cafe has a relatively large space.
