Daniel Selected by Senate Leadership as an ‘Emerging Leader’ Attends national leadership conference in Chicago Raleigh, N.C. – Senate President Pro Tempore Phil Berger (R-Rockingham) recently selected Sen. Warren Daniel (R-Burke) as one of two “up and coming legislators expected to rise to senior roles” to attend The National Conference of State Legislatures’ (NCSL) Symposium for Emerging Leaders. Daniel attended the conference in Chicago Oct. 10 to Oct. 12. “Sen. Daniel is doing an outstanding job representing the people of Burke and Caldwell counties,” said Berger. “During his freshman year, he has established a reputation as a hard worker and effective leader, particularly in his role as Co-Chairman of the Judiciary II committee. It was easy to see he would be a terrific candidate for this important leadership conference.” "The Symposium for Emerging Leaders was a great opportunity for Sen.
