The City of Montgomer y has an opening and is accepting applications for a Maintenance Worker, Water Wastewater position with the Public Utilities Department. This is a full-time position and requires a working knowledge of operation and maintenance of the water and wastewater treatment plant. This work includes per forming maintenance on various pumps, mixers, clarifiers, oxidation ditched, digesters, water treatment components, jetting and televising sewers, troubleshooting issues and the related duties. Also includes assisting as needed in the maintenance of streets including patching and snow and ice control. The ability to lift and carr y heavy objects, crawl, stand, bend, reach, climb, and manipulate tools and objects requiring manual dexterity Duties will include snow removal in the winter and related tasks.
