Janesville’s Hay Daze town celebration typically takes place in June with carnival rides, food and games along with nightly entertainment. Visit the event’s Facebook page for updates. Lakefest, a Fourth of July community celebration at beautiful Clear Lake Park for a family day for celebrating our nation’s birthday along with the joys of small-town life where neighbors come to the park for food, music, games and crafts, a boat parade, paddle fest and other water sports.

The Holiday Lights are a newer event in Waseca, getting started in 2021. Taking place in the leadup to Christmas, the Waseca County Fairgrounds are lit up.
Live Nativity Drive-Thru - beginning at Fourth Street and Fourth Avenue NE, visitors don’t need to leave their cars to see some beautiful nativity scenes. Takes place on weekends before Christmas.
Winter Wonderland - A free, family event at Starfire Event Center, complete with Christmas movies, snacks, crafts and more. Private booking for photo sessions available online.
