Firstly about the company: Farmgard was established in 1975 by Mr Ben Capper as a wholesaler of Tractor implements, and joined in the later years by his 4 sons. Over the years they built up their range of products both manufactured in New Zealand and imported from Europe. Farmgard have built up an excellent reputation in New Zealand by offering quality products along with good service and after-sales backup. In 2003 the 4 sons split the business into 3 separate divisions with Farmgard (Now a third generation business) keeping the original name and the following products lines: ■

Currently Farmgard is operating in New Zealand out of two distribution centres – the Northern Distribution Centre in Auckland and Southern Distribution Centre in Oamaru. Farmgard offer a number of options to suit the many different Mulching/Mowing Turf and Grass care needs throughout the country, some of which are included in the following pages.

WHAT THE “ OWNERS SAY “

THEY’RE ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! WE’RE ON THE STONES HERE, SO WITH TRADITIONAL MULCHERS WE WOULD GO THROUGH 5 SETS OF BLADES PER SEASON TO MULCH UP OUR PRUNING’S. We’ve still got the original set in the Berti here having done 2 seasons of mulching. I would say the picker would last 10 times longer than a traditional mulcher.
