THE CUT FLOWER MARKET The traditional cut flower market includes roses, Gerbera, carnations, orchids, tulips, and lilies. Eighty percent of the cut flowers purchased in the U.S. are imported from countries such as Colombia, Ecuador, the Netherlands and Canada. The flowers from Holland Flower Farm are grown using compost tea fertilizer, cover crops to reduce soil erosion, and a no-chemical approach. Holland Flower Farm’s seasonal and fresh blooms are sold through farmer's markets, flower subscriptions, weddings, and buckets of blooms for special events.
