Our thriving Youth Theatre has weekly sessions, performance opportunities, and holiday workshops for young people aged 4–25 years. We are open to all regardless of your skills and experience.

Farnham Youth Choir (FYC): Training Choir

Wednesdays 19 April – 28 June (term-time only) 5.15pm-6.15pm · £72 per term

FYC Training Choir is a singing group for girls and boys in school years 2-4, conducted by Claire Robins. Open to all children with no audition, the choir encourages musical development with an emphasis on enjoyment.

Clay Modelling for Kids

Tue 30 May 10am-11.30am · £20

Get creative with clay. Use your imagination to make animals, pendants, pots or anything you can think up! Decorate your creations with a variety of beads and paints. For ages 8-12 (under 8s welcome with an accompanying adult).

Painting with Watercolours

Tue 30 May 1pm-3pm · £20

Experienced artist and illustrator Sarah Metcalfe will show you how to use watercolours to paint beautiful florals and landscapes. For ages 10-16.

Create Together

‘Create Together’ are our fun and creative art and craft workshops to be enjoyed by you and your little ones. Keep an eye on our website where we will announce this half term’s themes.

Linocut Printing for Kids

This workshop is a great introduction to the art of graphics. Children will develop their imagination, express their creativity and ideas, creating graphic work using pre-prepared matrices in several exciting themes. For ages 6-10.

Play in a Day: Animals & Beasts

A fun and creative day putting together a show. Led by a professional theatre maker, participants will play drama games and rehearse a short show building to a small sharing for family and friends at the end of the session. For ages 8-12.

Introduction to Crochet

Wed 31 May – Thu 01 June 11am-12.30pm · £30

In this two-part workshop you will be introduced to basic crochet terminology, how to start by making a slip knot, how to make a chain, a single crochet and a double crochet stitch. Then create your own crochet worry worm. For ages 8–16.

Reduction Lino Printing for Teens

Wed 31 May 1.30pm-4pm · £30

Lino printing is a great opportunity not only to create interesting and unique work, but above all, it’s fun for those who willingly get their fingers dirty during the creative process. All materials provided. For ages 11-16.

Artbox Workshop

Fri 02 June 10am-3pm · £65

A one-day workshop for young creative minds. Learn how to use a range of mixed media and have a fun day full of drawing, painting, and collage. All materials provided. For ages 7-16.

Cyanotype Sun Printing

Mon 21 August 10am-11.30am · £20

A fun and creative workshop using the sun to create photographic-type blue prints on paper and fabric. Use leaves, flowers and various stencils to make unique pictures that appear ‘as if by magic’. For ages 8-16.

Pyrography Wood Art

Thu 24 August 10am-12.30pm · £45

Learn the art of pyrography with professional artist Ruth Wheeler. You will get your own pyrography machine to use for the morning, along with a selection of coasters and bookmarks to experiment on before moving onto a larger piece of work. For ages 8-16.

Make a Wet Felt Picture

Thu 24 August 1.30pm-4pm · £45

Learn the art of wet felting with professional artist Ruth Wheeler. Get a step-by-step guide to the process before you design your own picture and recreate it with dyed merino wool. For ages 8-16.

Giacometti Inspired Sculpture
