Leynavatn is situated close to the house called Frammi við Gjónna. The old house from 1815 has been restored and is a beautiful cultural monument over 19th century Faroese building traditions. Today, the house is being used by the Faroese two-star Michelin restaurant KOKS, whose experiments with Faroese raw materials and fermented meat and fish attract visitors from home and abroad.
