2021 The annual production capacity, to date, is more than 1.600.000 pairs and the offer is also addressed to emerging markets such as Central Africa and the Caribbean.
Founded in 1979 in Cisternino, a beautiful town in the province of Brindisi in Apulia, today PANDA SAFETY is the leading Italian company in the production of safety and occupational footwear. The search for new materials and components with ever-increasing performances, combined with the implementation of the most advanced production techniques, has given life to products of excellence that, over the years, have managed to win the trust of many distributors of PPE both nationally and internationally and even more end users who, on a daily basis, find in PANDA SAFETY footwear the ideal work companion. The company’s goal is to continue to increase its know-how and evolve, focusing its product development activities above all on improving the morpho-anatomical features of its footwear, including the improvement of protective functions, so that they are suitable for any working environment. Even in the most extreme conditions, PANDA SAFETY products grant durability and reliability, and it is thanks to these very high-quality standards, typical of Italian production of excellence, that the brand is marketed in more than 70 countries around the world.

For 40 years PANDA SAFETY has entrusted the distribution of its products only to the best dealers of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) around the World; over the years, the brand has won the trust of the most prestigious international partners, such as VOSTOK SERVICE, the undisputed leader of PPE market in Russia, whose mission is to create safe and comfortable working conditions for operators in every sector, to guarantee the protection of human health and life from unfavourable factors of production and the environment or ČERVA GROUP, whose headquarters are in Jeneč (Czech Republic) and which, thanks to 14 branches operating in as many European countries, has been synonymous with safety and comfort at work since 1991 with a sales volume that today, as a result of the daily activities of over 1000 employees, amounts to over 242 million euros. Also ALBO, founded in Belgrade in 1992, since 2002 has chosen the quality of PANDA SAFETY footwear becoming the exclusive distributor for Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo and Macedonia. If a worker suffers an injury while wearing PANDA SAFETY footwear and if it is proven that the injury was due to a manufacturing defect, the insurance company will cover all costs related to the injury and compensate the worker.

SALES TOOLS CLEANING KIT The PANDA SAFETY cleaning kit has been developed with the aim of helping workers to properly maintain their safety shoes. In fact, in addition to the comfortable shoe horn, it contains a set of brushes and cream to value and polish all types of natural leather, and with which it is possible to clean and “oil” your shoes after each use; by doing so, you can preserve all the original characteristics and functions of the real leather thus increasing its durability.

CLUTCH BAG The PANDA SAFETY shoe bag has been specifically designed to carry only one pair of our shoes; in fact, it was developed to allow each worker to go to work with their own shoes and then put on their occupational footwear once they have arrived at the workplace.
TRIAL STATION HOLDALL The PANDA SAFETY bag can hold up to 20 models from our product collection, thus making it a valuable sales support; when visiting end users, retailers can, in fact, carry and show a wide range of product samples. This set consists of 3 elements designed to be used in PANDA SAFETY retail stores. The captivating and extremely communicative design of the display unit allows from 10 to 20 items of PANDA SAFETY collection to be displayed thanks to the wide surface of each shelf on which it is possible to place a single model or 2 side by side. The “director’s chair” allows the customer to try on each model while sitting comfortably, while the mat has a specific function; in fact, by placing the shoeless foot on the drawing with the shapes of the fittings, from 35 to 50, the purchaser can immediately see his/her size preventing the risk of buying a size too small or too big.

Materials & Components
The tread is made of compact polyurethane to ensure resistance to wear and grip even on the most slippery surfaces, while the midsole is made of polyurethane foam that supports and accommodates the foot allowing the user to work in absolute comfort.
The midsole is made of polyurethane foam and compact polyurethane tread but the compound of both materials is completely NEW. Thanks to the constant innovation activity of the R&D department, the new compounds guarantee maximum lightness, flexibility and elasticity which means total comfort for the wearer from the first use, always respecting the chemical-physicalmechanical requirements of the relevant European Regulations. The design of the tread is suitably developed to always guarantee maximum slip resistance.
Genuine leather characterized by the flawless thick weft finish (Dollar print) that results particularly flexible and elastic thanks to the different processing stages.
Genuine leather whose surface has been made velvety by means of a special abrasion process, giving it an extremely soft touch finish that makes it immediately recognizable.
The label is made from a special nonwoven fabric (NWF) that is distinguished by a finish identical to that of carbon fibre fabric.
A small but very useful component; it speeds up and facilitates the foot fitting and contains a reflective insert to further increases the visibility of the user.
Lining in 3-layer fabric characterized by a network of micro-channels that, in addition to perfectly enveloping the foot, ensures exceptional breathability and therefore the total release of water vapour outside the shoe. The material also stands out for its abrasion-resistant functionality and antimicrobial and antibacterial treatment.
Insert in technical wear-resistant fabric that, overlapping the inner lining in the heel region, prevents deterioration and thus prolongs the durability of the entire shoe.
Anatomical paddings, opportunely placed inside the tongue and the collar which, by enveloping the instep, favour the correct foot/ankle alignment and provide more comfort.
Rustproof steel protective toe cap with heat treatment for hardening and epoxy surface coating, tested to withstand impact forces up to 200 Joules (J) and compression forces up to 15 kilonewtons (kN). The transverse fibers of the stainless steel from which it is made provide greater resistance to bumps and crushing while the rounded corners ensure the best possible comfort.
Made of multilayer polyester fabric, this type of foil is 40% lighter than its steel equivalent, while providing the same resistance to penetration force, namely up to 1.100 Newtons (N). It is flexible, light, non-magnetic, athermic, anti-corrosive and nonallergenic and protects 100% of the surface of the foot.
Protective toe cap in composite material to protect toes from bumps, compression and crushing. Nonmagnetic and non-conductive, it provides exceptional thermal insulation as well as protection from bumps up to 200 Joule (J) and compressions up to 15 kilonewtons (kN).

Thanks to the SANITIZED® antibacterial and antimicrobial treatment of the inner linings, which guarantees constant hygiene inside the footwear, the spread of any potentially harmful microorganism is prevented. The inner linings are also equipped with micro-channel technology that ensures fast transpiration of sweat and consequently an always dry and clean fitting, while the uppers are made of microfiber which allows washing the shoes in the washing machine, even frequently, and then constantly renew the feeling of freshness and cleanliness. Materials & Components
The midsole is made of polyurethane foam and compact polyurethane tread but the compound of both materials is completely NEW. Thanks to the constant innovation activity of the R&D department, the new compounds guarantee maximum lightness, flexibility and elasticity which means total comfort for the wearer from the first use, always respecting the chemical-physical-mechanical requirements of the relevant European Regulations. The design of the tread is suitably developed to always guarantee maximum slip resistance.
Sole completely made of polyurethane foam whose tread design, characterized by a honeycomb pattern, ensures maximum anti-slip functionality; it is antistatic, self-cleaning and resistant to both oils and greases.
Hypoallergenic and highly breathable microfiber that stands out for its resistance to lacerations, tearing, scratches and rubbing. It is completely waterproof and has stain-resistant functionality.
100% artificial polyester fabric that stands out for its high breathability, exceptional softness to the touch and anti-stain function; it is possible to remove any stains by using a dampened cloth with no risk of colour loss.
Flexible and non-deformable material, ideal for the production of footwear because it is extremely comfortable and durable. It is manufactured by applying on the split leather a finishing film that makes the surface perfectly uniform.
Anatomical paddings, opportunely placed inside the tongue and the collar which, by enveloping the instep, favour the correct foot/ ankle alignment and provide more comfort.
Insert in technical wear-resistant fabric that, overlapping the inner lining in the heel region, prevents deterioration and thus prolongs the durability of the entire shoe.
Rustproof steel protective toe cap with heat treatment for hardening and epoxy surface coating, tested to withstand impact forces up to 200 Joules (J) and compression forces up to 15 kilonewtons (kN). The transverse fibers of the stainless steel from which it is made provide greater resistance to bumps and crushing while the rounded corners ensure the best possible comfort.
Made of multilayer polyester fabric, this type of foil is 40% lighter than its steel equivalent, while providing the same resistance to penetration force, i.e. up to 1.100 Newtons (N). It is flexible, light, non-magnetic, athermic, anti-corrosive and non-allergenic and protects 100% of the surface of the foot.
Protective toe cap in composite material to protect toes from bumps, compression and crushing. Non-magnetic and nonconductive, it provides exceptional thermal insulation as well as protection from impacts up to 200 Joule (J) and compressions up to 15 Chilonewton (kN).
INSOLES
Insole made of antistatic polyurethane by means of a thermoforming process with the upper part, the one in contact with the sole of the foot, lined with hygienic mesh thanks to the antimicrobial and antibacterial treatment. Furthermore, the polyurethane gel insert placed in the heel area maximizes shock absorption functionality.
Removable insole, antistatic and anti-odour, which guarantees exceptional performance in terms of water vapour absorption and release capacity. Moreover, thanks to SANITIZED® technology, the surface in contact with the sole of the user’s foot benefits from the integrated hygienic function that prevents the proliferation of any potentially harmful microorganism.
Footwear completely free of metal components, ideal for use in “checked” workplaces (such as airports).
PROTECTIVE ELEMENTS

Insert made of non-woven fabric that stands out for its finish identical to that of carbon fibre fabric. The effect of the weaving of this finish is enhanced by the reflective function, giving the footwear a contemporary look and above all guaranteeing the user high visibility even in low light conditions.
Multi-layered anti-abrasion fabric that guarantees exceptional breathability and release of water vapour, thus keeping the user’s foot dry at all times. It stands out especially for the special anti-bacterial and anti-microbial SANITIZED treatment that ensures constant sanitation of the environment inside the shoe, hindering the multiplication of micro-organisms responsible for the onset of unpleasant smells.
Fields of use FOOD INDUSTRY
Lycra fabric (or elastane) is a synthetic polyurethane fibre whose main properties are durability, resistance to water and moulds, very high flexibility and elasticity (it can stretch up to 5 times its initial length).
Retro-reflective inserts that, properly applied, make the operator clearly visible even in low light conditions and give an innovative and sophisticated look to the footwear. PANDA SAFETY’s REFLECTOR® inserts are characterized by the so-called “crystal microsphere” technology which, by reflecting light back to its source, guarantees that the user is perfectly recognizable both day and night.
VELCRO® fastening systems, known for their absolute reliability, guarantee a perfect seal and therefore total comfort.

LINING MATERIALS
A small but very useful component; it speeds up and facilitates the foot fitting and contains a reflective insert that increases further the visibility of the user.
PUTEK fabric is a very important technological innovation in the field of safety footwear because it transforms the upper into a real barrier of protection. It combines the best function of breathability and waterproofing and thanks to RIPSTOP technology, a reinforcement technique that makes the fabric resistant to tearing, provides resistance to wear and traction while remaining extremely light and flexible. It is crease-resistant and non-deformable, elastic and easy to maintain.
HEALTHCARE & PHARMACEUTICAL SECTOR Footwear whose manufacturing process, from the choice of raw materials to the production method, is completely aimed at containing the weight while maintaining the highest standards of protection performance.
Thanks to the SANITIZED® antibacterial and antimicrobial treatment of the lining and of the insole, the proliferation of any microorganism potentially harmful to the health of the foot and to the environment is totally prevented.
Footwear that stands out for the possibility of being machine washed (at no more than 60 C° and with mild detergents), even frequently, and thus constantly renewing the feeling of freshness and cleanliness.

Thanks to the constant innovation activity of the R&D department, the brand-new compounds developed for the polyurethane foam of the midsole and for the compact polyurethane of the tread guarantee maximum lightness, flexibility and elasticity while complying with the chemical-physical-mechanical requirements of the reference standards.

Materials & Components legend The tread is made of compact polyurethane to ensure resistance to wear and grip even on the most slippery surfaces, while the midsole is made of polyurethane foam that supports and accommodates the foot allowing the user to work in absolute comfort.
The midsole is made of polyurethane foam and compact polyurethane tread but the compound of both materials is completely NEW. Thanks to the constant innovation activity of the R&D department, the new compounds guarantee maximum lightness, flexibility and elasticity which means total comfort for the wearer from the first use, always respecting the chemical-physical-mechanical requirements of the relevant European Regulations. The design of the tread is suitably developed to always guarantee maximum slip resistance.
The most resistant and durable of the full-grain leathers, which, together with the special tanning process aimed at guaranteeing total water repellence, makes it particularly suitable for the production of technical and safety footwear. The small irregularities that this type of leather presents are incorporated in PANDA SAFETY products to show the natural uniqueness of each product and therefore the artisan nature of the production.
Polyurethane leather reinforcement positioned in the most exposed areas of the footwear in order to prevent its physiological deterioration. The polymer applied on the surface of the highly stressed areas is hypoallergenic and, besides resisting to the action of time, guarantees the absence of cracks and deformations and very high resistance to both low and high temperatures.

Materials & Components
MATERIALI FODERA
Lining in 3-layer fabric characterized by a network of micro-channels that, in addition to perfectly enveloping the foot, ensures exceptional breathability and therefore the total release of water vapour outside the shoe. The material also stands out for its abrasion-resistant functionality and antimicrobial and antibacterial treatment.
LINING MATERIALS
Jacquard fabric made from 100% PET yarn or obtained through the process of recycling and spinning polyethene terephthalate, a thermoplastic resin widely used for the production of beverage bottles. PET fabric is the most breathable fibre among the non-natural and offers high resistance to abrasion, creasing and heat, excellent elasticity and very good resistance to chemical and physical agents. All these features give the fabric crease-resistance, wear resistance and great dimensional stability, making it particularly suitable for the production of work footwear.
Rustproof steel foil placed in the sole assembly to protect the foot from the risk of penetration by foreign bodies (sharpprofiled, pointed or cutting objects). Each foil is tested to resist a penetration force of up to 1.100 Newtons (N).

Natural leather produced by applying a specific type of wax on the external surface of a common full-grain leather previously polished and smoothed. This process, which immediately causes a slight abrasion of the treated area, in addition to fixing the texture and colour tone, creates a rich protective cover on the surface of the coat increasing its resistance to wear.
Fabric made from high tenacity polyamide yarns that gives the upper exceptional resistance to tearing and abrasion, thus ensuring greater durability to the entire footwear; the Jacquard fabric is also particularly light and breathable.
Genuine leather whose surface has been made velvety by means of a special abrasion process, giving it an extremely soft touch finish that makes it immediately recognizable.
Anatomical paddings, opportunely placed inside the tongue and the collar which, by enveloping the instep, favour the correct foot/ankle alignment and provide more comfort.
VELCRO® fastening systems, known for their absolute reliability, guarantee a perfect seal and therefore total comfort.
Insert in technical wear-resistant fabric that, overlapping the inner lining in the heel region, prevents deterioration and thus prolongs the durability of the entire shoe.
The wide variety of YKK® hinges and components applied to PANDA SAFETY footwear give the products a particularly refined look, which is also and above all a guarantee of absolute quality.
A small but very useful component; it speeds up and facilitates the foot fitting and contains a reflective insert that increases further the visibility of the user.
Insert made of non-woven fabric that stands out for its finish identical to that of carbon fibre fabric. The effect of the weaving of this finish is enhanced by the reflective function, giving the footwear a contemporary look and above all guaranteeing the user high visibility even in low light conditions.
Fur consisting of 90% sheep wool and the remaining 10% synthetic material increasing the wear resistance and allowing the maintenance unchanged over time of the breathable function, the thermal insulation and moisture absorption capacity.
Highly breathable and abrasion-resistant microfiber lining with anti-microbial and antibacterial treatment.
Rustproof steel protective toe cap with heat treatment for hardening and epoxy surface coating, tested to withstand impact forces up to 200 Joules (J) and compression forces up to 15 kilonewtons (kN). The transverse fibers of the stainless steel from which it is made provide greater resistance to bumps and crushing while the rounded corners ensure the best possible comfort.
Removable insole with ESD functionality, that is able to discharge electrostatic build-ups. It is made of multilayer compacted felt, and fully complies with the requirements of EN 20344 standard. It is antimicrobial and antibacterial and guarantees exceptional performance in terms of water vapour absorption and release capacity.
Footwear completely free of metal components, ideal for use in “checked” workplaces (such as airports).
Retro-reflective inserts that, properly applied, make the operator clearly visible even in low light conditions and give an innovative and sophisticated look to the footwear. PANDA SAFETY’s REFLECTOR® inserts are characterized by the so-called “crystal microsphere” technology which, by reflecting light back to its source, guarantees that the user is perfectly recognizable both day and night.
Genuine leather characterized by the flawless thick weft finish (Dollar print) that results particularly flexible and elastic thanks to the different processing stages.
Footwear whose manufacturing process, from the choice of raw materials to the production method, is completely aimed at containing the weight while maintaining the highest standards of protection performance.
Made of multilayer polyester fabric, this type of foil is 40% lighter than its steel equivalent, while providing the same resistance to penetration force, i.e. up to 1.100 Newtons (N). It is flexible, light, non-magnetic, athermic, anti-corrosive and non-allergenic and protects 100% of the surface of the foot.
Protective toe cap in composite material to protect toes from bumps, compression and crushing. Non-magnetic and nonconductive, it provides exceptional thermal insulation as well as protection from impacts up to 200 Joule (J) and compressions up to 15 Chilonewton (kN).
Removable insole, antistatic and anti-odour, which guarantees exceptional performance in terms of water vapour absorption and release capacity. Moreover, thanks to SANITIZED® technology, the surface in contact with the sole of the user’s foot benefits from the integrated hygienic function that prevents the proliferation of any potentially harmful microorganism.
Footwear with ESD marking is different from antistatic safety shoes because they dissipate electricity, meaning they have the ability to constantly discharge to the ground the static electricity accumulated by the human body. Antistatic footwear has an electrical resistance ranging from 100 kiloohms to 100 megaohms while ESD models provide resistance in a range from 100 kiloohms to 35 megaohms and their use remains regulated, as further protection, by EN ISO 20345:2011 standard.

FEATURES Flexibility and resistance are the main features of this sole in which the midsole is in polyurethane foam and the tread is in compact polyurethane; the combined action of the two densities of the material grants maximum comfort even in case of prolonged use as well as a remarkable resistance to torsion. Another element that distinguishes this sole, which is antistatic and self-cleaning, are the PU reinforcements properly placed in the area of heel and toe that expose the entire shoe to less wear and at the same time offer additional protection in case of bumps.

The tread is made of compact polyurethane to ensure resistance to wear and grip even on the most slippery surfaces, while the midsole is made of polyurethane foam that supports and accommodates the foot allowing the user to work in absolute comfort.
UPPER
The most resistant and durable of the full-grain leathers, which, together with the special tanning process aimed at guaranteeing total water repellence, makes it particularly suitable for the production of technical and safety footwear. PUTEK fabric is a very important technological innovation in the field of safety footwear because it transforms the upper into a real barrier of protection. It combines the best function of breathability and waterproofing and thanks to RIPSTOP technology, a reinforcement technique that makes the fabric resistant to tearing, provides resistance to wear and traction while remaining extremely light and flexible. It is crease-resistant and non-deformable, elastic and easy to maintain.
Lining in 3-layer fabric characterized by a network of micro-channels that, in addition to perfectly enveloping the foot, ensures exceptional breathability and therefore the total release of water vapour outside the shoe. The material also stands out for its abrasionresistant functionality and antimicrobial and antibacterial treatment.
Genuine leather characterized by the flawless thick weft finish (Dollar print) that results particularly flexible and elastic thanks to the different processing stages.
Fabric made of thin and light technofibers, in order to obtain a soft and versatile material. The “MICROFIBER” is hypoallergenic, highly breathable and stands out for its resistance to lacerations, tears, scratching and rubbing, making it absolutely suitable for the production of the uppers of safety footwear.
VELCRO® fastening systems, known for their absolute reliability, guarantee a perfect seal and therefore total comfort.
Anatomical paddings, opportunely placed inside the tongue and the collar which, by enveloping the instep, favour the correct foot/ankle alignment and provide more comfort.
Rustproof steel foil placed in the sole assembly to protect the foot from the risk of penetration by foreign bodies (sharp-profiled, pointed or cutting objects). Each foil is tested to resist a penetration force of up to 1.100 Newtons (N).
Polyurethane leather reinforcement positioned in the most exposed areas of the footwear in order to prevent its physiological deterioration. The polymer applied on the surface of the highly stressed areas is hypoallergenic and, besides resisting to the action of time, guarantees the absence of cracks and deformations and very high resistance to both low and high temperatures.
Insert made of non-woven fabric that stands out for its finish identical to that of carbon fibre fabric. The effect of the weaving of this finish is enhanced by the reflective function, giving the footwear a contemporary look and above all guaranteeing the user high visibility even in low light conditions.
Insert in technical wear-resistant fabric that, overlapping the inner lining in the heel region, prevents deterioration and thus prolongs the durability of the entire shoe.
Three-dimensional fabric in hypoallergenic synthetic fibre (100% polyester) that stands out for its high breathability, tear resistance and abrasion.
A small but very useful component; it speeds up and facilitates the foot fitting and contains a reflective insert that increases further the visibility of the user.
Retro-reflective inserts that, properly applied, make the operator clearly visible even in low light conditions and give an innovative and sophisticated look to the footwear. PANDA SAFETY’s REFLECTOR® inserts are characterized by the so-called “crystal microsphere” technology which, by reflecting light back to its source, guarantees that the user is perfectly recognizable both day and night.
Fur consisting of 90% sheep wool and the remaining 10% synthetic material increasing the wear resistance and allowing the maintenance unchanged over time of the breathable function, the thermal insulation and moisture absorption capacity.
Highly breathable and abrasion-resistant microfiber lining with anti-microbial and anti-bacterial treatment.
Rustproof steel protective toe cap with heat treatment for hardening and epoxy surface coating, tested to withstand impact forces up to 200 Joules (J) and compression forces up to 15 kilonewtons (kN). The transverse fibers of the stainless steel from which it is made provide greater resistance to bumps and crushing while the rounded corners ensure the best possible comfort.
Removable insole, antistatic and anti-odour, which guarantees exceptional performance in terms of water vapour absorption and release capacity. Moreover, thanks to SANITIZED® technology, the surface in contact with the sole of the user’s foot benefits from the integrated hygienic function that prevents the proliferation of any potentially harmful microorganism.

Particularly flexible natural leather whose external surface, at the very end of the tanning process, is coated with a polyurethane film that makes it completely water-repellent.
Full-grain leather of the highest quality which, at the end of the tanning process, is “sharpened” (i.e. polished on the grain side) and then brushed to obtain a particularly soft and velvety surface. On the upper of the shoes made with this type of leather, after completion of the production process, a solution is sprayed to protect them from the action of time.
100% artificial polyester fabric that stands out for its high breathability, exceptional softness to the touch and anti-stain function; it is possible to remove any stains by using a dampened cloth with no risk of colour loss.
Three-dimensional fabric in hypoallergenic synthetic fibre (100% polyester) that stands out for its high breathability, tear resistance and abrasion.
VELCRO® fastening systems, known for their absolute reliability, guarantee a perfect seal and therefore total comfort.
Lining in 3-layer fabric characterized by a network of micro-channels that, in addition to perfectly enveloping the foot, ensures exceptional breathability and therefore the total release of water vapour outside the shoe. The material also stands out for its abrasion-resistant functionality and antimicrobial and antibacterial treatment.
Lining made of aluminized felt that stands out for its very high insulating power. The thin fibres of the felt, holding inside them tiny air particles, act as thermal insulation while the layer of microperforated aluminium refracts infrared rays (heat) towards the source, or the foot of the user, thus maintaining the ideal climate inside the footwear. Wintherm® also guarantees antibacterial and antimicrobial properties thanks to the silver microparticles inside.
Polyurethane leather reinforcement positioned in the most exposed areas of the footwear in order to prevent its physiological deterioration. The polymer applied on the surface of the highly stressed areas is hypoallergenic and, besides resisting to the action of time, guarantees the absence of cracks and deformations and very high resistance to both low and high temperatures.
Insert made of non-woven fabric that stands out for its finish identical to that of carbon fibre fabric. The effect of the weaving of this finish is enhanced by the reflective function, giving the footwear a contemporary look and above all guaranteeing the user high visibility even in low light conditions.
Anatomical paddings, opportunely placed inside the tongue and the collar which, by enveloping the instep, favour the correct foot/ankle alignment and provide more comfort.
A small but very useful component; it speeds up and facilitates the foot fitting and contains a reflective insert that increases further the visibility of the user.
Genuine leather whose surface has been made velvety by means of a special abrasion process, giving it an extremely soft touch finish that makes it immediately recognizable.
The wide variety of YKK® hinges and components applied to PANDA SAFETY footwear give the products a particularly refined look, which is also and above all a guarantee of absolute quality.
Insert in technical wear-resistant fabric that, overlapping the inner lining in the heel region, prevents deterioration and thus prolongs the durability of the entire shoe.
Made of multilayer polyester fabric, this type of foil is 40% lighter than its steel equivalent, while providing the same resistance to penetration force, i.e. up to 1.100 Newtons (N). It is flexible, light, non-magnetic, athermic, anti-corrosive and non-allergenic and protects 100% of the surface of the foot.
Protective toe cap in composite material to protect toes from bumps, compression and crushing. Non-magnetic and non-conductive, it provides exceptional thermal insulation as well as protection from impacts up to 200 Joule (J) and compressions up to 15 Chilonewton (kN).
Anatomical insole that adapts perfectly to the natural conformation of the sole of the foot; it is antibacterial, antifungal and has a shock-absorbing wedge in the heel area.
Insole specially developed for the coldest working environments; thanks to the aluminum film that covers the lower part, which is not in contact with the foot, it guarantees thermal insulation.
Removable insole with ESD functionality, that is able to discharge electrostatic build-ups. It is made of multilayer compacted felt, and fully complies with the requirements of EN 20344 standard. It is antimicrobial and antibacterial and guarantees exceptional performance in terms of water vapour absorption and release capacity.
Footwear completely free of metal components, ideal for use in “checked” workplaces (such as airports).
Footwear with ESD marking is different from antistatic safety shoes because they dissipate electricity, meaning they have the ability to constantly discharge to the ground the static electricity accumulated by the human body. Antistatic footwear has an electrical resistance ranging from 100 kiloohms to 100 megaohms while ESD models provide resistance in a range from 100 kiloohms to 35 megaohms and their use remains regulated, as further protection, by EN ISO 20345:2011 standard.

The safety footwear of the TECHO line can be described as the perfect mix between functionality and aesthetics. The most innovative and performing materials, modern techniques and production technologies and the over forty years experience of PANDA SAFETY give life to these products whose qualities become even more evident when looking at the single components and raw materials. Some examples: the Putek fabric of the uppers provides complete water repellency and resistance to wear while remaining extremely light and flexible. FEATURES The TECHO line sole combines the elasticity of the low-density polyurethane midsole with the sturdiness of the compact thermo-polyurethane tread whose design, inspired by off-road tires, is distinguished by the presence of a drainage channel favouring the outflow of oily substances with which it comes into contact, while providing maximum grip. This PU / TPU sole, which compared to those in PU / PU provides greater durability and better insulation properties at low temperatures, is also equipped with an insert resistant to abrasion and bumps in the calcaneus area, supporting the plantar arch and absorbing bumps in the heel region.

The controlled-density polyurethane midsole ensures a dampening function, and therefore the absorption of bumps, along the entire sole of the foot and contributes to the lightness and flexibility of the shoe. The particular design of the compact thermo-polyurethane tread, instead, favours the maximum adherence on any surface with exceptional grip performance even during heel strike. This sole supports in the best way the plantar arch and therefore facilitates the maintenance of the most suitable posture and the correct distribution of body weight while the antiabrasion reinforcements, placed both in the toe and in the heel area, increase the resistance to wear and therefore the durability of the footwear.
PUTEK fabric is a very important technological innovation in the field of safety footwear because it transforms the upper into a real barrier of protection. It combines the best function of breathability and waterproofing and thanks to RIPSTOP technology, a reinforcement technique that makes the fabric resistant to tearing, provides resistance to wear and traction while remaining extremely light and flexible. It is crease-resistant and non-deformable, elastic and easy to maintain.
A small but very useful component; it speeds up and facilitates the foot fitting and contains a reflective insert that increases further the visibility of the user.
VELCRO® fastening systems, known for their absolute reliability, guarantee a perfect seal and therefore total comfort.
Anatomical paddings, opportunely placed inside the tongue and the collar which, by enveloping the instep, favour the correct foot/ankle alignment and provide more comfort.
Lining made of aluminized felt that stands out for its very high insulating power. The thin fibres of the felt, holding inside them tiny air particles, act as thermal insulation while the layer of microperforated aluminium refracts infrared rays (heat) towards the source, or the foot of the user, thus maintaining the ideal climate inside the footwear. Wintherm® also guarantees antibacterial and antimicrobial properties thanks to the silver microparticles inside.
Insert in technical wear-resistant fabric that, overlapping the inner lining in the heel region, prevents deterioration and thus prolongs the durability of the entire shoe.
Lining in 3-layer fabric characterized by a network of micro-channels that, in addition to perfectly enveloping the foot, ensures exceptional breathability and therefore the total release of water vapour outside the shoe. The material also stands out for its abrasion-resistant functionality and antimicrobial and antibacterial treatment.
Made of multilayer polyester fabric, this type of foil is 40% lighter than its steel equivalent, while providing the same resistance to penetration force, i.e. up to 1.100 Newtons (N). It is flexible, light, non-magnetic, athermic, anti-corrosive and non-allergenic and protects 100% of the surface of the foot.
Protective toe cap in composite material to protect toes from bumps, compression and crushing. Non-magnetic and non-conductive, it provides exceptional thermal insulation as well as protection from impacts up to 200 Joule (J) and compressions up to 15 Chilonewton (kN).
Insole made of antistatic polyurethane by means of a thermoforming process with the upper part, the one in contact with the sole of the foot, lined with hygienic mesh thanks to the antimicrobial and antibacterial treatment. Furthermore, the polyurethane gel insert placed in the heel area maximizes shock absorption functionality.
Insole specially developed for the coldest working environments; thanks to the aluminum film that covers the lower part, which is not in contact with the foot, it guarantees thermal insulation.

The particular design of the compact thermo-polyurethane tread, instead, favours the maximum adherence on any surface with exceptional grip performance even during heel strike. The most resistant and durable of the full-grain leathers, which, together with the special tanning process aimed at guaranteeing total water repellence, makes it particularly suitable for the production of technical and safety footwear. The small irregularities that this type of leather presents are incorporated in PANDA SAFETY products to show the natural uniqueness of each product and therefore the artisan nature of the production.
Polyurethane leather reinforcement positioned in the most exposed areas of the footwear in order to prevent its physiological deterioration. The polymer applied on the surface of the highly stressed areas is hypoallergenic and, besides resisting to the action of time, guarantees the absence of cracks and deformations and very high resistance to both low and high temperatures.
Insert made of non-woven fabric that stands out for its finish identical to that of carbon fibre fabric. The effect of the weaving of this finish is enhanced by the reflective function, giving the footwear a contemporary look and above all guaranteeing the user high visibility even in low light conditions.
Nylon insert that maximizes breathability; it is also crease-resistant and non-deformable as well as resistant to wear and traction.
Ladderproof fabric because it is made with high tenacity yarns able to guarantee resistance both to tearing and abrasion; it is also bi-elastic and extremely breathable and therefore particularly comfortable.
Anatomical paddings, opportunely placed inside the tongue and the collar which, enveloping the instep, favour the correct foot/ankle alignment and provide more comfort.
Made of multilayer polyester fabric, this type of foil is 40% lighter than its steel equivalent, while providing the same resistance to penetration force, i.e. up to 1.100 Newtons (N). It is flexible, light, non-magnetic, athermic, anti-corrosive and non-allergenic and protects 100% of the surface of the foot.

The material also stands out for its abrasion-resistant functionality and antimicrobial and antibacterial treatment.
Ultra-breathable, wear-resistant fabric that quickly absorbs and releases moisture; it is unshrinkable, anti-odour and water-repellent.
Rustproof steel foil placed in the sole assembly to protect the foot from the risk of penetration by foreign bodies (sharpprofiled, pointed or cutting objects). Each foil is tested to resist a penetration force of up to 1.100 Newtons (N).
Rustproof steel protective toe cap with heat treatment for hardening and epoxy surface coating, tested to withstand impact forces up to 200 Joules (J) and compression forces up to 15 kilonewtons (kN). The transverse fibers of the stainless steel from which it is made provide greater resistance to bumps and crushing while the rounded corners ensure the best possible comfort.

PANDA SAFETY shoes marked as “WR” are made with sealed seams and are equipped with a membrane that, coupled with the inner lining, prevents the passage of liquids and therefore the contact of the same with the foot of the wearer. The shape of the membrane grants the total waterproofing of the footwear; its structure contains more than 1 billion pores per square centimetre which, being each of these microscopic pores thousands of times smaller than a drop of water, block its passage. At the same time, the membrane is also highly breathable; in fact, its pores are hundreds of times larger than the water vapour molecules that easily escape from the footwear.

The models of TOP WINTER & FIERY line guarantee safe and protected steps in any climatic condition as they are capable of maintaining the thermal insulation of the foot both in extremely cold environments and whenever the operator works in contact with very hot surfaces; moreover, these safety shoes are also the ideal choice for all those who work in the presence of electrical energy sources. From the cooperation with Vibram, the world-leading manufacturer of high-performance soles, three types of soles have been developed having one main feature in common: the midsole is made of low-density polyurethane while the tread is in nitrile rubber. The TOP WINTER sole, thanks to the VIBRAM TC4+ compound with which the tread is made, creates and maximizes grip when in contact with icy surfaces, ensuring the best resistance to slipping. The HRO sole, by virtue of a specific component inside the compound, guarantees heat resistance by contact up to 300°C. The DIELECTRIC sole, on the other hand, is capable of discharging into the ground any electric shocks (up to 20.000 volts) with which the user may come into contact.

Midsole in low density polyurethane foam to guarantee elasticity and flexibility, tread in VIBRAM TC4+ nitrile rubber. Thanks to a specific component inside the tread compound, the sole is HRO certified, thus guaranteeing resistance to heat contact up to 300° C.
The tread is made of compact polyurethane to ensure resistance to wear and grip even on the most slippery surfaces, while the midsole is made of polyurethane foam that supports and accommodates the foot allowing the user to work in absolute comfort.
Sole completely made of polyurethane foam whose tread design ensures maximum antislip functionality; it is antistatic, self-cleaning and resistant to both oils and greases.
Completely water-repellent natural leather, resistant to stains and abrasion as well as to the effects of prolonged exposure to UV rays, featuring particularly high tensile and ductility values.
VELCRO® fastening systems, known for their absolute reliability, guarantee a perfect seal and therefore total comfort.
Genuine leather whose surface has been made velvety by means of a special abrasion process, giving it an extremely soft touch finish that makes it immediately recognizable.
Fabric made of thin and light technofibers, in order to obtain a soft and versatile material. The “MICROFIBER” is hypoallergenic, highly breathable and stands out for its resistance to lacerations, tears, scratching and rubbing, making it absolutely suitable for the production of the uppers of safety footwear.
Particularly flexible natural leather whose external surface, at the very end of the tanning process, is coated with a polyurethane film that makes it completely water-repellent.
Genuine natural leather that conceals unique and exclusive technologies and properties beneath its apparently normal appearance. In fact, thanks to the special tanning process, in case of contact with an open flame, it does not feed the fire and does not produce toxic gases, while keeping its original conformation unchanged.
A small but very useful component; it speeds up and facilitates the foot fitting and contains a reflective insert that increases further the visibility of the user.

Nylon insert that maximizes breathability; it is also crease-resistant and non-deformable as well as resistant to wear and traction.

Retro-reflective inserts that, properly applied, make the operator clearly visible even in low light conditions and give an innovative and sophisticated look to the footwear. PANDA SAFETY’s REFLECTOR® inserts are characterized by the so-called “crystal microsphere” technology which, by reflecting light back to its source, guarantees that the user is perfectly recognizable both day and night.
Anatomical paddings, opportunely placed inside the tongue and the collar which, enveloping the instep, favour the correct foot/ankle alignment and provide more comfort.
Made of multilayer polyester fabric, this type of foil is 40% lighter than its steel equivalent, while providing the same resistance to penetration force, i.e. up to 1.100 Newtons (N). It is flexible, light, non-magnetic, athermic, anti-corrosive and non-allergenic and protects 100% of the surface of the foot.
Lining in 3-layer fabric characterized by a network of micro-channels that, in addition to perfectly enveloping the foot, ensures exceptional breathability and therefore the total release of water vapour outside the shoe. The material also stands out for its abrasion-resistant functionality and antimicrobial and antibacterial treatment.

Anatomical insole that adapts perfectly to the natural conformation of the sole of the foot; it is antibacterial, antifungal and has a shock-absorbing wedge in the heel area.
Removable insole, antistatic and anti-odour, which guarantees exceptional performance in terms of water vapour absorption and release capacity. Moreover, thanks to SANITIZED® technology, the surface in contact with the sole of the user’s foot benefits from the integrated hygienic function that prevents the proliferation of any potentially harmful microorganism.
Footwear whose manufacturing process, from the choice of raw materials to the production method, is completely aimed at containing the weight while maintaining the highest standards of protection performance.
100% polyester needle-punched fabric with outstanding toughness which, when properly inserted into the structure of the upper, enhances its resistance to chainsaw cuts. The protective material, in fact, in case of contact with the cutting teeth of the chain, is dragged towards the transmission gear, immediately blocking the movement.

Removable insole, antistatic and anti-odour, which guarantees exceptional performance in terms of water vapour absorption and release capacity. Moreover, thanks to SANITIZED® technology, the surface in contact with the sole of the wearer’s foot benefits from the integrated hygienic function that prevents the proliferation of any potentially harmful microorganism.
Anatomic insole that adapts perfectly to the natural shape of the sole of the foot; it is antibacterial, antifungal and fitted with a shock-absorbing wedge in the heel area.
Insole specially developed for the coldest working environments; thanks to the aluminium film that covers the lower part, which is not in contact with the foot, it guarantees thermal insulation.

Insole made of antistatic polyurethane by means of a thermoforming process, with the upper part, the one in contact with the sole of the foot, covered by a sanitised mesh treated against microbes and bacteria. Furthermore, it has a polyurethane gel insert positioned in the heel area to maximise the capacity of absorbing blows.
Removable thermoformed insole featuring ESD technology allowing it to dissipate electrostatic charges that the operator may come into contact with; it is washable and is completely made of polyurethane gel and stands out for its exceptional shock absorption capacity along the entire surface of contact with the foot as well as for its antibacterial and antimicrobial properties.
Removable insole with ESD functionality, that is able to discharge electrostatic build-ups. It is made of multilayer compacted felt, and fully complies with the requirements of EN 20344. The PANDA SAFETY BASIC SOCKS have been made with an extremely breathable thread that guarantees the correct evaporation of the sweat and with particularly thin stitches that are not felt in the slightest by the wearer. The reinforced structure both on the toes and in the heel area not only ensures wear resistance and washing machine resistance (even frequent washes) but also improves blood circulation and exercises a soothing action and prevents the onset of pathologies deriving from poor circulation of the lower limbs.
PRO WORK SOCKS are the ideal choice for workers whose feet, joints and leg muscles suffer significant daily stress. The technology developed by PANDA SAFETY is in fact capable of acting on several levels, improving the general well-being of lower limbs and therefore the quality of work performance. The areas of graduated compression properly arranged along with the socks, stimulate and favour proper blood circulation thus preventing fatigue; at the same time, the ultra-thin seams grant absolute comfort, while the reinforcements in the area of the toe and heel ensure greater durability over time. The yarn with which they are made, composed of 57% of cotton, 38% of polyamide and 5% of elastane, is highly breathable thus allowing the correct thermo-regulation of the foot; besides, the fabric stands out for its exceptional ability to absorb water vapour in order to neutralize odours and prevent the proliferation of microbes and bacteria.

The “Comfort” insole has been developed with the purpose of evenly redistributing the pressure and of providing relief and support to every step and is, therefore, recommended for preventing the most common symptoms of pain to the foot. The anatomical profile combined with the action of the 3 special shock-absorbing inserts, positioned in the most sensitive areas, guarantee comfort and wellness of feet, knees and back.
The “Metatarsalgia” insole is recommended for users particularly exposed to stress to the forefoot in order to improve the wellness of the foot inside the shoes and to prevent or alleviate pain. The innovative design combines the action of the shockabsorbing insert “Extra-Soft-Absorber”, positioned at the height of the metatarsal heads, with that of the other two “Memory Foam” inserts, favouring the wellness of feet, knees and back.
The “Heel-strikes” insole is recommended to improve the comfort of the foot inside the shoe, to prevent or alleviate pain to the rear of the foot (heel inflammation) in users particularly exposed to hyper loads of the heel. The innovative design combines the action of the shock-absorbing insert “Extra-Soft-Absorber”, positioned at the height of the heel, with that of the other two “Memory Foam” inserts, favouring the wellness of feet, knees and back.
The “Senso” insole is a product dedicated to the users whose foot structure is particularly delicate and is specifically recommended in the presence of arthritis and diabetic foot ulcer (Grade 0) to prevent inflammation and calluses. The anatomical design and the “Extra-Soft-Absorber” inserts positioned at the height of the most sensitive areas of the foot, allow the impacts to be absorbed when walking and to reduces articular stress thanks to the constant action of redistributing pressure.

Vulcanized rubber sole, made through a process that heats up the compound previously shaped by the mould at a temperature of about 180 ° C. This type of processing prevents the rubber from changing shape and possibly melting with the heat of the sun or asphalt.

Material for uppers of the latest generation that, by adding a small percentage of Elastane (a synthetic fibre of polyurethane widely used to make fabrics elastic), provides the user with the best wearability while simultaneously giving a very attractive look to the footwear.
Particularly versatile material for uppers which, by being woven diagonally, is particularly strong and therefore resistant to tearing.
Jute has always been considered the “raw yarn” by definition; the fibres are rough and tough and the yarn is consequently stiff and very resistant. It bears a high breaking load, is highly hygroscopic, it is characterized by low extensibility and provides high breathability. Jute is used among other things, for the production of bags for the packaging of raw coffee and it is from the recycling of these ones that the uppers of some shoes are made; the tremendous versatility of Jute perfectly matches with the design of the new models of the AFTER WORK line.
