SKI TECHNOLOGY Design & construction

All our skis continue to be lovingly made by hand. Each ski is manufactured from carefully selected wood cores, rockwell-treated steel edges, high quality silkscreened topsheets and the finest base material available. The skis are gloss-lacquered, stone-ground and hand-tuned before leaving the factory. This process ensures consistent flex, high performance and durability straight out of the store. We were the first independent ski brand to offer a two-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

STP technology Introduced for the first time last year, STP is a proprietary technology used to press a small wave into the length of the ski. This lets us use less wood and create lighter, easier-to-ski products with above-average edge hold & torsional strength. Check it out on the new Soma, Prodigy, Agent 90, 90W & 100 and Mono ski.

Camberlines Traditional Camber gives positive turn initiation, predictable rebound and control on groomed snow and hardpack.

BC-freestyle Rocker. Symmetrical tip & tail rocker and flat camber underfoot on the Royale provide float riding normal or switch, as well as instantaneous edge control.

Big-mountain Rocker. Tip rocker and flat camber through the Thirteen together with a very firm flex give maximum float and feel at speed.

HELMET TECHNOLOGY The Faction x TSG colab. For the past two years we have been working in conjunction with TSG, a fellow Swiss brand that has been making helmets and protective gear since 1988, combining our design capabilities and their engineering skills and experience. Our helmets use the best materials, manufacturing and design techniques available to give unparalleled levels of safety, comfort and freedom of movement. All our helmets are laboratory tested and certified to European CE EN 1077 and North American ASTM 2040 standards to give the rider 100% confidence in their performance.

Technology Flex-tech: For the first time ever on a helmet, our Flex-tech features a mutli-segmented EPS insert that automatically adapts itself to the wearerâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s head shape. TSGâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s award-winning technology further dissipates energy upon impact to reduce the force that contacts the head. It also improves air circulation and allows heat to get pulled out by the venting more efficiently. Only on the Agent & Kennedy. ABS shell: We use an injection-molded Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene plastic to provide a bombproof, shock resistant shell. EPS impact foam: Expanded PolyStyrene foam is 98% air, 2% plastic. Formed in cells, the EPS is incredibly light yet strong and flexible. Heat-sealed removable padding: The padding inserts in the helmet are pre-molded, heat-sealed, removable and washable. All helmets come with two sets of inserts to customise fit and ensure all-day-long comfort on the hill. Low rider: Our low rider design improves front and side protection.

All-day comfort Optimised airflow system: The size and position of the air vents has been carefully design to maintain an optimum amount of airflow. This helps keep consistent temperature no matter what the conditions. All vents are also fully screened to prevent any unwanted items getting in - keeps air in, but snow and dirt out. On top of this, eight small air channels in the inner foam of the helmet combine to pull heat away from your head. No more sweat! Heat-sealed removable padding: The padding inserts in the helmet are pre-molded, heat-sealed, removable and washable. All helmets come with two sets of inserts to customise fit and ensure all-day-long comfort on the hill. Removable earpads: Our earpads clip in quickly and simply - making it easy to convert from winter to spring mode, or to use with a beanie underneath. 3-point strap adjustment: The chin strap is adjustable at 3-points, ensuring a perfect fit. Goggle clip: Rear goggle clip keeps your goggles in place, even in the bar.
