DROP 1: SPRING & MULBERRY STREET

Spring/Summer 2024 celebrates pioneering preppy American Sportswear. To kick things off, we start the season with a fresh dose of collegiate wear. This collection is all about reimagining iconic classics in a modern way. Inspired by a used vintage vibe, these pieces are specifically designed to look worn, used, and of course super soft.

Shoe trends are shifting - Sneakers are becoming an essential part of the casually dressed look. While comfort continues to reign supreme, there is an unmistakable push in a dressier direction. That’s why we’re taking the opportunity to showcase our more formal designs, with loafers and ballerinas playing a major role in Drop 1.

This season, we’re offering a wide range of loafer styles for both men and women and they’re softer than they’ve ever been. Ballerinas are undergoing a revival. We’re offering two different versions: one with rubber outsole and the other classic all flat for dressier looks. Both designs feature a signature bow on the toe. As Chukka boots continue to conquer men’s wardrobes, GANT has thrown its hat into the ring with an authentic faded design, crafted from premium cow suede.

Sure, our sneakers are sporty. The true premium this season, however, is on authenticity. We’re focused on quality, with supple leather and a softer, easier-to-wear colorway. GANT is putting special emphasis on achieving a worn and distressed look. At the same time, we’ve keenly observed old-school athletic shoe revival. That’s why we developed a new classic, low-tread cupsole sneaker for both men and women. It’s a timeless concept, infused with blend of retro aesthetic, modern silhouette, and premium leather crafting. We’ve also celebrating the return of deck shoes - clean and basic styles made in a modern and authentic way.

We’ve chosen to tell our nautical story using a seasonal color range. Beige, gray, brown, and black tones serve as the foundation for vibrant reds, whites, and blues. Our men’s collections emphasize red and orange highlights while our women’s footwear is accented using pink and silver. Denim is a key component of the collection this season.

DROP 2: THE GRAND TOUR

For the second drop, we are leaving the US behind us and heading into a Mediterranean direction. The collection shifts from Ivy League to “Ciao Amore” – cosmopolitan style and elegance with a European twist.

We’ve made ballerinas and soft loafers the focus point of our women’s collection and will be releasing a variety of sandals that is sure to revitalize stagnating summer looks. The second drop will see a noticeably dressier turn, with flats and mid heels gaining in prominence. The men’s collection will focus heavily on loafer varieties as well, characterized by unconstructed designs featuring high-quality suede or light-weight canvas. Whether you need trendy leather flats for a hot summer day or luxurious loafers for a balmy summer night, the men’s sandals in Drop 2 are perfect for every occasion. We round out the Mediterranean theme with the debut of our espadrilles for both men and women. Jute, canvas, and suede are just a few of the materials that make our new espadrilles fit so seamlessly into the collection.

While this second drop is more elegant than the first, it is no less comfortable. To ensure maximum wearing pleasure, the Drop 2 sandal uppers and footbeds all feature supple leather and pliable padding.

We will also be updating our textile shoe segment this season to bring them in line with summer wardrobes and dressier lifestyles, including designs that mix heavy canvas textiles with suede details in muted sand tones. Even our timeless and casual classic plimsoles are getting spruced up. We’ve placed a premium on comfort for every style in this season’s collection—sportswear inspired but with a European twist.

Our Mediterranean voyage proceeds with a seasonal color story with cream, beige, yellow, and orange setting the course. Our more luxurious styles will feature black and rich brown tones as a foundation. Indigo and green serve as highlights throughout the women’s collection with yellows embellishing the men’s collection.
