In the ever-evolving world of mental health, Venus Olla stands out as a beacon of empowerment and hope. As a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), Venus brings a refreshing approach to her practice, blending expertise with genuine compassion. Her journey is one of resilience, growth, and a deep commitment to helping others live their best lives.

”I truly believe that everyone has the power to heal and thrive,” Venus shares, her enthusiasm infectious. “My goal is to create a space where people feel safe to explore their journey towards healing.” Specializing in trauma, racial trauma, anxiety, depression, and more, Venus meets her clients where they are, empowering them to take charge of their own well-being.

Mixing and matching therapeutic techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness, Venus crafts personalized plans tailored to each individual. “Wellness isn’t just about fixing problems; it’s about finding balance in all aspects of life,” she explains. By blending evidence-based methods with a person-centered approach, Venus helps her clients navigate life’s ups and downs with resilience and grace.

“At the core of what I do is building trust and connection,” Venus emphasizes. “It’s about creating a space where people feel heard and supported.” Through genuine empathy and active listening, she fosters an environment where clients can explore, grow, and heal at their own pace.

Armed with a master’s level postgraduate diploma from the Canadian Institute for Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (CICAPP), Venus is dedicated to staying on top of the latest developments in her field. “Learning never stops,” she says. “By staying curious and open-minded, I can offer the best possible care to my clients.”

“Beyond my practice, I’m passionate about making mental health support accessible to all,” Venus shares. Venus is also a trained Yoga Nidra meditation teacher. She offers 4-week and 8-week Yoga Nidra sessions for groups and individuals, aiming to provide relaxation, rest, and improved sleep. “Preparing for this experience is simple,” Venus advises. “Find a quiet, comfortable environment, lay on your back in shavasana, and don’t forget a blanket to stay warm as your body temperature may drop during the 15-minute session.”
