HSY COUTURE COLLECTION AT PFDC L’ORÉAL PARIS BRIDAL WEEK 2015 The iconic courier HSY showcased his exclusive bridal range collection at the 5th PFDC L'Oréal Paris Bridal Week 2015, at Faletti’s Hotel. Inspired by the heavens, the HSY collection was intricately detailed and extraordinarily feminine, which marked a return to a demure and softer color palette and silhouette reminiscent of HSY’s work of the early 2000’s. This was re-presented in a context manifest of the wants and needs of the woman of today. With a strong focus on the use of fabrics both timeless and pure, HSY celebrated his true passion for embroideries and surface embellishment with this collection, combining his deep understanding of the Western silhouette with quintessen ially Eastern embroideries. The mosque has a special place on the second floor reserved solely for women making it very few of the mosques in Pakistan which have a space reserved especially for female namazis. There is basement in the grand mosque which is basically comprised of an Islamic art Gallery and a religious school which has not yet been made functional but will start functioning in a matter of time.
If you ever get a chance to visit this amazingly built mosque, do not miss it. As for all Lahoris, you must pay a visit to the mosque as the experience is just great.

You’ve come a long way since your rocker days, run me by the changes you’ve been through, both as an actor and as an individual… As an actor and an individual I think I’ve learnt how to subdue the angry young man that was inside me. When I started out I think I was very much similar to Bruce Banner and his hulk problem. The answer to everything was hulk smash!, quite literally, in some way or the other in every emotional output. I was much louder. I think that would be my biggest achievement as well. I’ve expanded my skill-set through a very limited number of projects and been very lucky with the outcomes most of the time. As an individual, I’ve learnt a lot about life. Some things that proved to be helpful and some things I wish I never knew.

You’ve just wrapped up shooting for Kapoor and Sons – what was your experience like working with the cast and the crew, particularly, Karan Johar?
Do you miss your music days? Would you ever consider going back to music for a bit?
Working on Kapoor and Sons was a lot of fun. The energy was great and the cast and crew all got along really well, like a family. Sid, Alia and Shakun are fantastic people to work and hang out with. This is my second time working with Ratna Patak and as always it’s a pleasure, whereas it’s my first experience working with Rajat Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor, I feel like I share an old camaraderie with them. Karan, is an extremely genuine and warm person. Having seen his work on Koffee with Karan one can very well see his sharp sense of humour, but in person, believe me when I say it’s an experience on another level. With that wit comes a sharp eye and a sensibility that makes his production house what it is today
Can’t find the space for it these days. But all this while I’ve had the chance to sit down and listen to some great music. I really do miss it. It’s a memory and an experience I really cherish. There is no comparison between the life of a rock star and an actor. If I could now, I would be a rock star within a blink of an eye. So as far as music is concerned, yeah, I might just go back to it but don’t want to be unfair to it. It requires its proper time and space.
Was Bollywood daunting for you, initially? No. I didn’t come in with any preconceived notions of the industry so I don’t feel it was daunting. As an actor if you ask, it’s funny but my audience’s expectations are more daunting than the work itself Fawad, the media went into a bit of a spin after your decision of choosing not to get intimate with Alia Bhatt in Kapoor and Sons. Is this something that you’re going to stick to for all your films?
What’s your definition of a dream role?
First of all, there is a lot of guessing that goes on in the market. It’s all a result of not having a PR which I feel it’s high time that I get, secondly, one needs to start reporting impostors on social networking sites. The issue of kissing is nothing and just a personal choice for now.
The ‘dream role’ for me is a myth as of now. As an actor I’m challenged around the clock. To be able to keep changing personalities is the biggest task alone. To not repeat yourself again and again. The day I’m able to master that skill, I’ll be ready for my dream role.
KAREENA KAPOOR KHAN TO SIGN PAKISTANI MOVIE Great news in these days of turmoil in indo pak relations. The bollywood Bebo, Kareena Kapoor khan will be starring in upcoming film Directed by the super pakistani director Shoaib Mansoor who is well known because of Khuda ke liye (Bol) fame. In this Connection Kareena will be reaching Dubai this week and she and Shoaib will discuss the formal plot and there after get it to a legal relationship with the contract signing. This news had already created a big buzz but there was no confirmation from Kareena's end. Now however her spokesperson has confirmed the news. “A few months ago, Shoaib Mansoor had emailed his concept to Kareena, saying that she will have a powerful role in the film,” said someone close to Kareena. “She liked the idea but wanted to read the script before giving her nod to the film. She will be the first A-list actor to work in a Pakistani project,” stated the source. The source further added that Bebo was on the look out for some huge project that would yield some heavy financial gains. Now with shoaib's Story in the offing, Kareena feels that the right moment has arrived. Kareena has all the regards for Shoaib Mansoor and his abilities as a film director and the great thing is that this respect is mutual. The news is that Shoaib’s next is a heroineeccentric film, which will take off next year. Well, this is one collaboration that will definitely set the box office on fire.

RYAN MURPHY OFFERS AMERICAN HORROR STORY SEASON 6 TO LADY GAGA American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy has been so impressed and enamored with Lady Gaga’s performance in the upcoming American Horror Story: Hotel that he’s already offered her a part in season 6 of the show. Murphy took to Twitter to declare his admiration for Gaga, who makes her acting debut in American Horror Story: Hotel and asked her to return for another season. While FX has not officially announced a sixth season of the horror anthology co-created by Murphy and Brad Falchuk, the series is the cable network's highest-rated series. The new series, like every season, marks a complete reset of the story with the returning cast members including Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates and more all playing new characters. There’s no word on whether or not Lady Gaga will accept, but given the excitement she’s shown as part of the upcoming season, it seems like a forgone conclusion that she would be willing to return.

PAKISTANI SHOWBIZ STARS ATTEND LAUNCH OF PAKISTAN SUPER LEAGUE Pakistan's biggest sports and entertainment product, Pakistan Super League was launched as the Pakistan Super League logo & anthem unveiling took place in Lahore. Celebrities like Ali Azmat, Ali Zafar, Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Humaima Malick, Ayesha Omar, Iman Ali, Aijaz Aslam, Nadia Hussain, Urwa Hussain,Gohar Mumtaz, Farhan Saeed, Cybil Chaudhry from the entertainment industry were spotted at the event which hosted numerous cricket legends & Pakistan's men & women national cricket teams. I think Pakistanis will proudly own the PSL." The Pakistan Super League is a franchise-based T20 cricket tournament set to take place in February 2016. With top cricket players like Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo, Grant Elliot, Lasith Malinga, Kieron Pollard, and Luke Wright on the PSL draft roster, the tournament has already started to create a buzz in cricketing circles all across the globe. According to newspaper reports, around 10 parties have shown active interest in buying the 5 teams up for grabs in the first edition of the PSL. The four provincial capitals – Quetta, Lahore, Karachi, and Peshawar – will be joined by Islamabad in a 5-team, 24match tournament.
