Alia Bhatt is a sizzling model who has managed to rock Bollywood, through a great performance in Karan Johar’s movie Student of the Year that turned out to be a big hit. By virtue of being the youngest daughter of a celebrity director producer Mahesh Bhatt, she was picked up with open arms, in the film world and she in turn responded magnificently, immediately making an impression in her debut. In the process she got accepted by big actors like Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra.
Alia Bhatt stirred the new generation with her cute looks, dimples on both cheeks and a glowing smile backed up by a promising attitude. Even as a child she has longed and dreamt of perusing a career in acting and drama. Alia Bhatt has never been interested in her studies as she was an average student but had keen inclination towards sports especially handball, music, dancing, television, movies and always took part in extra circular activities. Alia is a very good charcoal painter and relaxes herself like this. The most interesting part is that she will continue her studies in Mumbai.
She is a next generation’s talented young lady who played a marvelous and effortless role. Her role in Student of the Year is very nice. She plays role of young innocent brat who loves to show off her bags, dresses and herself.
Gym and exercising This cutie pie is not into a lot of exercising but works intensely on toning her body and frame. She understands and follows a proper routine for muscle toning workouts and swimming. She is not totally a freak when going to gym but at least 4 days a week is ideal for her.
Not many people are aware of the fact that this 19 year old has a big crush on actor Ranbir Kapoor. She openly admits that this man is her biggest ever crush and just can’t stop dreaming to work with him. She says. “I have always loved Ranbir and I love him even more after ‘Barfi!’ Alia Bhatt has made her mark because of her innocent, child-like appearance but her sexiness remains constant with these childlike looks. Son of Sardaar Movie Review
This Diwali it’s double dhaka: Ajay Devgn’s Son of Sardar (SOS) versus Shah Rukh Khan’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Now, we are not comparing the two here, that is for you to do, we will simply let you know if it is worth selecting SOS as your Diwali movie choice. Directed by Ashwni Dhir (Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge), produced by Ajay Devgn and with music by Himesh Reshammiya, on the surface SOS is the film of the ‘masses’, whilst Jab Tak Hai Jaan looks to be the film of the ‘classes’. This one is a comedy potboiler, whilst the other is a romantic saga. This one is set in Punjab, whilst the other waltz’s through London. So with the comparison’s over, here is what we thought. The story in a nutshell is Sardar Devgn travels home to Punjab from the UK, to lay claim to his ancestral land. On the train journey there it is love-at-first-sight, with Sukh (Sonakshi Sinha), following which he ends up as a guest in her mad-house only to discover there is an old deadly family feud with his own, which requires his death too. The only safe option is to live-in with the enemy and the only safe haven staying within the four walls of their house, as whilst he is their ‘guest’ they will not touch him, but step outside and his life is on the line. SOS is a remake of a South Indian movie called ‘Maryada Ramanna’. Like the original, the remake also packs in action, drama, humour, songs and dances, which all equal one big masala affair, akin to Devgn’s other films of the same genre. This film falls very much into the ‘leave your brains at home’ genre. On the acting front starting with Ajay Devgn, we have seen play the Sardar before, but this is no Legend of Bhagat Singh. Here Devgn is playful, strong and romantic all in
extreme doses and delivers the right tone for the film as a whole. On Sanjay Dutt, so okay, this is no Kancha fromAgneepath, nor is it Munna Bhai, but despite that Sanju Baba does exactly what is expected from him – he gets angry and he has a laugh, both convincingly. Sonali is spot on as the village belle and although is still a delight to see, she is close to becoming stereotyped and repetitive. You can easily let her off on this occasion, as she is both funny and sweet, but she does need to watch her film selections. Juhi Chawla is still an absolute delight to watch and is a warm addition to the cast. So the minus, well…with running time of around 2 hours and 20 minutes, short by some standards, SOS could have done with a bit a trimming in some places. On the music side, there are a couple of hummable tracks, mainly the beautiful ‘Bicharan’ and the fun ‘Pow Pow’, but otherwise not exactly a musical blockbuster. Directorially Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge by Ashwni Dhir was a far more superior and sophisticated product, which had some great comedy, SOS is not necessarily a step back, but definitely a step in another direction, as far as film making is concerned. In the UK we call it marmite (a food substance), you will love it, or you will hate it! Perhaps a more apt desi description is sweet or salted lassi. You either prefer sweet lassi, or you prefer salted lassi, or maybe even both. Hell, why not have a cocktail of sweet and salty! In any case that is the verdict with SOS. If you loved Wanted and Dabaang, or even Devgn’s own Golmaal series and his recentBol Bachchan then SOS is definitely for you.

Heroine Movie Review
Madhur Bhandarkar has already made his trademark salacious forays into the worlds of bar dancers (Chandni Bar, 2001), pavement dwellers (Traffic Signal, 2007), journalists and socialites (Page 3 2005) big business (Corporate, 2006), fashion (Fashion, 2008) and criminal lowlifes (Jail, 2010). With Heroine, he turns his attention to the film industry, a world in which he himself has operated since at least 1995, when he landed an Assistant Director’s job and a small role in Rangeela. You might think, if you are an optimist, that this, finally, is a milieu Bhandarkar actually knows. You might hope that his insiderness will somehow translate into a more nuanced film than the cliché-ridden creatures he has been trotting out for years, to be whipped by our collective righteous indignation. Reader, you would be wrong. Heroine contains every single one of the Bhandarkarian tics we have come to watch out for over the years. Beautiful, successful women who are incurably insecure. Tick. Gay fashion designers whose real purpose is to provide gossip to said insecure women. Tick. Unprincipled bitchy journalists who care only about their next scoop. Tick. An endless parade of high-society parties in which every effusive airkissing photo-op comes with its own catty onlooker: oh, where would we be without those? Caricature is the name of Bhandarkar’s only game, and he can’t give it up so easily. So we get our tragic heroine, Mahi Arora played by
Kareena Kapoor. She’s gorgeous and young and rich and at the top of the Bollywood stakes, so really she ought to be pretty happy with her life. But she’s in love with a married superstar who still hasn’t got his divorce, insists on keeping their affair a secret and doesn’t do anything to “control” his catty wife when she’s being nasty. This apparently is enough to drive poor lovely Mahi up the wall, out of the relationship and then, quicker than you can get the tears into your eyes, to the fringes of the industry of which she was the reigning queen. And why is this supremely successful woman so ridiculously vulnerable? Ah, it’s because she comes from a broken home, which in Bhandarkar’s book apparently also explains how and why she rose so quickly up the film industry ladder. But perhaps that’s nothing to be surprised about, because Bhandarkar’s vision of the film industry is not about actually providing believable portraits of flawed, real-life human beings. It’s about stringing together a bunch of stereotypes and sensational incidents that will let us, the middle class audience, sit back and bask in the warm glow of being so much better off—and just plain better—than the scum of the earth that sit about in the award functions we watch enviously on television. So we’re informed that actors only perform in award functions if they’re guaranteed an award themselves, that top heroes (and their wives) can push heroines in and out of big banner projects based on how obliging (or harmless) they are on the sexual front, that character artists are treated as second class citizens—even when they’re lifetime awardees.
But somehow, the more he attempts to shock us, the flatter Bhandarkar falls. Perhaps it’s the ridiculous overstatedness of his vision, which singles out the film industry as den of evil, as if gender hierarchies and power games and hypocrisy and corruption are somehow the sole preserve of Big Bad Bollywood. Perhaps it’s the bizarre excess of some of what he wants to feed us: a rival actress gets her boyfriend to offer himself up to a bisexual businessman so she can take a jewellery endorsement away from Mahi; Mahi later gets her own back by getting her embroiled in legal trouble for misreporting her age on her passport. Or perhaps it’s just because Bhandarkar is not content to show us all this, he has to also announce it at intervals of about five minutes. “Is glamour industry mein kaun fraud nahin hai!” says one party commentator. “Confidence ke saath bolo to film industry jhooth ko bhi sach maan leti hai,” says Mahi’s PR agent. “Film stars ki friendship tumse nahi, tumhariposition se hai,” says Mahi to bitchy journalist, etc, etc. Or perhaps it’s simply the fact that there is a law of diminishing returns operating here. Like Randeep Hooda’s cricketer character who unnerves Mahi at a party by knowing her favourite colour, drink and holiday destination without ever having spoken to her, we already know far too much about film stars. How can an industry whose most minor peccadilloes are fed to us in bite-sized pieces every day, by newspapers and magazine gossip columns and 24-hour-news television, still continue to shock us? Heroine shows occasional glimpses of another sort of film, the film it could have been if it abandoned its showy histrionics and sensationalising generalisations for something quieter and more specific. Kareena’s Mahi is most believable, for example, when she’s shown dealing with her mother (Lillete Dubey)—freezing Dubey’s politician love interest when he tries to win her over with offers of a Padma Shri, or being annoyed and defensive when her mother lectures her about her love life. Her rocky relationship with superstar Aryan Khanna (Arjun Rampal in an almost subtle performance) is not bad in its quieter, sadder moments. Kareena has always been decent at total emotional collapse—think the once-bubbly Geet’s pale, stonyfaced, in-shock avatar from Jab We Met, and you have a sense of how this film will end. The depressingly bad character actors who destroy the first hour or so of the film are replaced—not wholly but very substantially—by others who lift their one-note roles into watchability by dint of sheer presence. Govind Namdeo as Kareena’s quietly devoted oldstyle manager Rashidbhai plays off the contrasting image of Divya Dutta
as the hard-as-nails, new-age PR manager who turns Mahi’s career around. As for Ranvir Shorey, I can’t think of anyone who could have made a stereotype like the Bengali ‘art film director’ as endearing as he does. And then there’s Shahana Goswami, who lights up the frame from the moment she enters it, filling out a thankless role as the ‘art film actress’ Promita with a natural ease that makes Mahi’s actorly inferiority to her seem all too real. Watching them all, one wishes Bhandarkar would actually act on the homilies he’s just delivered about character actors and unfair hierarchies in Bollywood. But that, of course, will never be.

Stewart’s romantic life has been subject to a lot of scrutiny and since she remained quite about her affair there was much controversy and hearsay.
Stewart was born to parents who are directly linked to the television and movie houses. She was lucky to be raised in Los Angeles, California, which is home to so many celebrities. Since her whole family worked behind the camera she aimed to become either a writer or director and never considered acting as an option. And during her conversations she rightly concedes “I never wanted to be the center of attention, I never sought out acting, but I always practiced my autograph because I love pens. I’d write my name on everything”. The earlier years afforded her an opportunity to take part in minor roles, but having done them extremely well she got noticed not only for awards but also for bigger roles. The first real success came through the film Panic Room in which she played the diabetic daughter of a divorced mother (Jodie Foster).

She earned $12.5 million each for last two installments in the Twilight series, including royalties. She is also ranked #7 on AskMen’s list of Top 99 Women for 2013. Stewart currently lives in Los Angeles. Apart from acting, she is also interested in attending college in the near future, saying, “I want to go to college for literature. I want to be a writer. I mean, I love what I do, but it’s not all I want to do”. It was in 2012 that her relationship
with Robert Pattinson was acknowledged.
When Us Weekly published photos of Stewart having an affair with her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders. The day the photos were released, Stewart issued a public apology to Pattinson, stating, “This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.” Her life continues to be a success story and with her amazing talent she is likely to be pursued by her fans and the big ones of the movie world.

Music career
Akon’s alleged three years in jail saw him begin to recognize his music abilities and develop an appreciation for his musical background. Music mogul Devyne Stephens, president of Upfront Megatainment first heard about Akon when the rapper Lil’ Zane brought him along to Stephens’ rehearsal hall, a place that at the time saw talents such as Usher and TLC being developed. The relationship between Stephens and Akon began as a friendship and mentorship, with the young artist regularly stopping by to ask for advice, but when Akon lost his deal with Elektra Stephens signed him to his production company and began grooming him professionally. The songs Akon recorded with Stephens were brought to the attention of Universal’s imprint SRC Records. In an interview with HitQuarters SRC A&R Jerome Foster said, “What caught my attention right away was “Lonely”, and I said, ‘this kid is official - this is a huge record.” Foster and SRC CEO Steve Rifkind immediately boarded a private plane to Atlanta to meet the young artist. Akon knew of Foster’s work as producer Knobody and so there was a mutual respect for one another and the pair hit it off.
In 2005, he released the single “Lonely” (which samples Bobby Vinton’s “Mr. Lonely”). The song reached the top five on the Billboard Hot 100, and topped the charts in Australia, the UK and Germany. His album also climbed to number one in the UK in April 2005. When music channel The Box had a top ten weekly chart, which was calculated by the amount of video requests, Akon’s “Lonely” became the longest running single on the top of the chart, spanning over fifteen weeks. Akon then released another single featuring with a New Zealand rapper, Savage with the single Moonshine, which had become a success in both New Zealand and Australia, becoming number one in the New Zealand charts. In 2005, He made his first critically acclaimed guest appearance on Young Jeezy’s debut album, Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101, with the song “Soul Survivor.” In December the same year his manager, Robert Montanez was killed in a shooting after a dispute in New Jersey.

Throughout her career, Jones has won numerous awards and has sold over 40 million albums worldwide.Billboard named her the top Jazz artist of the 2000–2009 decade, establishing herself as one of the best-selling artists of her time. Born in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York, Jones is the daughter of Indian sitar player Ravi Shankar and American concert producer Sue Jones. She is the half-sister of Grammy nominee Anoushka Shankar. After her parents’ separation in 1986, Jones spent her childhood with her mother in the Fort Worth suburb of Grapevine, Texas. She attended Colleyville Middle School and Grapevine High School before transferring to Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas. While in high school, Jones sang in the school choir, participated in band and played the alto saxophone. At the age of sixteen, with her parents’ consent, she officially changed her name to Norah Jones.
Jones always had an affinity for the music of Bill Evans and Billie Holiday, among other ‘oldies’. She once said, “My mom had this eight-album Billie Holiday set; I picked out one disc that I liked and played that over and over again.” She began singing in church choirs and took piano lessons as a child. She still attends church. She considers herself spiritual and appreciates the rituals of her church but does not consider herself the religious type. She attended Interlochen Center for the Arts during the summers. While at high school, she won the DownBeat Student Music Awards for Best Jazz Vocalist (twice, in 1996 and 1997) and Best Original Composition (1996).
Jones attended the University of North Texas (UNT), where she majored in jazz piano and sang with the UNT Jazz Singers. During this time, she had a chance meeting with future collaborator Jesse Harris. She gave a ride to a band playing at the university whose members happened to be friends of Harris. He was on a cross-country road-trip with friend and future Little Willies member, Richard Julian, and stopped to see the band play. After meeting Jones, Harris started sending her lead sheets of his songs. In 1999, she left for New York City. Less than a year later, she started a band with Harris, which made her famous.

Maserati Quattroporte The new Maserati Quattroporte is a high-performance sports luxury sedan that reinterprets the design features of classic Maseratis in a contemporary design language.
Its style was born out of the guiding design principles of Maserati: harmony of shapes, dynamism of lines, Italian elegance.
More generous in size when compared to the previous model, the new Quattroporte has a design that is at once graceful and sinuous, fashioned to bring out the sporty nature of the car. Some of the elements characterizing the previous model have been purposely maintained: the front grill, the three side vents, the triangular C pillar. At the same time new style and functional features were introduced: the strong belt line that runs through the entire side of the car giving the new Quattroporte a look and feel that is at once muscular and elegant with frameless doors and three side windows. Inside, the design of the Quattroporte aims at essentiality, stressing the simplicity of lines and the full functionality of the in-board instrumentation. Functional elements are blended with soft quality surfaces made of prestigious woods and refined leathers.” - Lorenzo Ramaciotti, Head of Maserati Design Center
Maserati Quattroporte: All-New Next Generation Powertrain “The innovative Maserati proprietary engines of the all-new Maserati Quattroporte have all been designed and developed by Maserati and Ferrari engineers in the heart of Italy’s motor valley. As a matter of fact, they are going to be produced in the Ferrari plant in Maranello that has been synonymous with cutting-edge technology and passion for well over 60 years. Passion is indeed the middle name of a whole new generation of Maserati engines that will equip the all-new Maserati Quattroporte and the models that will soon follow her on the market. The passion and state-of-the-art technology that is at the heart of all the new Maserati engines that will be mounted on the next generation of Maserati products have produced engines that are not only more powerful than ever, or more exciting to drive than ever - bust also more eco-friendly than ever before.” - Paolo Martinelli, Maserati Powertrain Director
Maserati Quattroporte: Key Technical Features

Maserati engineers have worked - with a competence matched only by their passion - in chassis designing and engineering, weight reduction, ergonomic enhancement to develop a car capable of fitting different powertrain architectures and transmission configurations for the most diverse driving conditions but always maintaining Maserati’s trademark best-in-class driving comfort. The results is the all-new Maserati Quattroporte, a luxury sports sedan that reaches new heights in terms of performance and handling, driving enjoyment as well as respect of the world we live in: the best performance ever in the long history of Maserati’s four-door flagship sedan are matched by the unprecedented success in the quest for an eco-friendly automobile.
