Dream Jeans

I used to hate jean shopping. Trying on endless pairs in hopes for the right fit, the right style, and the right colors all in one. Revice Denim is my new favorite place to buy jeans and they fit perfectly!

The styles are unique and custom made. They have a large range of colors, styles, and patterns available, but they are known for their star printed jeans. The iconic styles are comfortable and stars are on trend.

Revice also sells shorts, skirts, denim jackets, and shirts. Looking on their website it’s so hard to choose which style to order, but you can’t lose because any style you order you’ll get a million compliments.

While there aren’t any physical Revice storefronts, these jeans are spreading across the country with celebrities like Miley Cyrus, Kendall Jenner, and Madison Beer wearing them in their Instagram posts. The company is based in LA so it takes a little time for the order to come through, but these jeans are totally worth the wait. So skip the endless try on, browse the website, and order your new favorite jeans!

Spring is finally here: the trees are in bloom, the days are (slowly) getting warm enough to ditch our jackets and leave the Bean boots behind, and a bundle of new trends are here to ring in the summer months with style. Say goodbye to those drab and boring neutral tones, because this season is all about color. That’s right—I’m talking about neon.

Kim Kardashian has been dazzling the spotlight lately in some particularly florescent outfits, and it seems this season’s catwalks were aglow with neon as far as the eye could see. Personally, I couldn’t be happier. After enduring a seemingly endless string of rainstorms these past few months, some crazy colors are definitely in order to purge these feelings of doom and gloom. I dare you to try and feel anything less than bright and cheerful while wearing a pair of pastel pink bike shorts or a lime green knitted tank top—it’s actually impossible. Maybe I’m alone here, but something about the brilliance of neon really just pops, from shiny golds and glimmering oranges to hot pinks and cotton-candy blues.

As if that weren’t enough, color-blocking has evolved to encompass even the most outrageous shades. Nothing is off-limits—citrus yellows and greens with vibrant magenta? Fiery reds and rich cerulean

paired off with gold and orange trimmings? Absolutely! This season is the time to let loose and unleash your inner wild child, so go nuts and spice up your wardrobe as much as you dare. I know I’ll be tucking away my black and white tees and embracing my favorite pumpkin-hued crop tops or tie-dyed jean shorts (another product of this season’s color compulsion). So here’s to spring, to the summer fun to come, and to the fashion rainbow that’s long overdue!

Runway Analysis by Katie Furlong

It’s no secret that earth tones have always been popular for fall and winter, but recently, major fashion houses have been pushing the boundaries of this idea. Balmain went completely black and white for their most recent collection, and Christian Dior’s runway was accented with reds, greens, and yellows. And while Isabel Marant had been branching out in her last few ready-to-wear collections, she returned to her roots for her fall/winter 2019 collection.

The beauty look: before we even jump into clothes, I need to emphasize how flawless the makeup was. The models looked like they had just returned from their summer vacations in Italy and Greece and reluctantly transitioning into their fall wardrobe while still trying to retain their summer glow. If I could wear this look every day, I would without hesitation.

Playing with silhouette: Marant managed the perfect balance between oversized and form-fitting clothes, both on each model and on the runway as a whole. The bulkier jackets were some of my favorite pieces in the entire collection, and pairing them with the slouchy boots only made them better. Each of the above looks also has pieces that tie the look together so it doesn’t seem like everything needs to be oversized. The form-fitting sweaters and the cinched

Trends going a bit too far: there were a few pieces though that just overdid it for me, one of them being the oversized blazer. If it hadn’t been paired with the longer skirt, I think I would have liked it more, but I do think there is a boundary with oversized clothes, and this one just missed the mark and seems too slouchy. The other one I couldn’t get on board with was the western-style shirt. One of the biggest draws to Marant’s brand is her Parisian-chic aesthetic and how she can perfectly balance elegant and edgy in every collection. This top just stuck out to me as incompatible with the rest of the looks she presented this season.
