Vein opened its winter season with the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival main parades Morrisey, Kenzo and Leopold.

Vein shoes were the footwear of choice of top Aussie labels Leopold and Tom, and Dick and Harry when they unveiled their winter collections at the Mercedes Australian Fashion Week. The parades were exceptionally notable with both collections garnering excellent feedback from fashion critics.

When Vein introduced its winter 2006 collection at the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival in March, there was no doubt which shoes should be worn by the top three of men’s collections of the season. At the forthcoming Mercedes Australian Fashion Week, Vein will be closely working with men’s hot fashion label Red Cordial. Retailers, stylists and other fashion industry people can also see a preliminary showing of Vein’s summer collection at MAFW’s Source Exhibition at the end of April, which can also be seen when you shop online for shoes.

“At Vein, we are delighted to work with clothing designers. Footwear does not steal the limelight at fashion parades, but a designer collection show is too important to leave footwear up to models, friends or God forbid resort to pluggers,” says McCallum.
