The campaign is being photographed by a couple of expert photographers, Inez Van Iamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, under the direction of Stefano Pilati, the Italian designer based in Paris who was tasked with the complicated task of replacing the almighty Tom Ford as head of the legendary French house seven years ago. The collection will be shot in the Bled Roknine gardens in Marrakech Palmeraie, a 1930’s villa, inspiring mystery which is a recurring object of desire of other ad campaigns. This particular shoot will cover numerous scenarios for the latest fashions. Models such as Claudia Schiffer, Daria Werbowy, Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss have starred in past Yves Saint Laurent campaigns, and this year Arizona Muse will be will have the honors. The American model just twenty years of age is expected to bring a fresh look to the fashion photos. Globally, she has been seen in an astounding 64 runway shows this season. Her green eyes, angelic face and enviable figure may be the reasons why she has been chosen by Pilati to shoot the important fashion spread.
