Fassa Sport & Outdoor with its 4 Sport Check Point offices specializing in outdoor activities, does represents a closeknit union of all those associations and free-lance sport experts operating in Val di Fassa, with the aim of promoting sport activities with passion and enthusiasm. Panorama Pass For an active but environmentally-friendly holiday!

What is it? PanoramaPass is a card that gives free and unlimited access to all

the lifts which take you to the top of the most beautiful mountains of the Dolomites. Together with its activation you will be given the “Carta per Trasporto Pubblico Trentino”: by showing both cards you can travel for free on all the Trentino public transports, on Trentino Trasporti and SAD busses operating in Val di Fassa and on the Dolomites Passes, for the whole period of validity of the card.

Where can I buy it? From this year PanoramaPass will be included on the

back of your Val di Fassa Card provided by your host. You only have to activate it at your arrival at the outhorized cash desks of the lifts, at the tourist offices or at the Sport Check Points offices.

How much does it cost? Panorama Pass is available in three different

versions:

- 3 days out of 6 (the use of the lifts is allowed 3 days within the consecutive 6-day period of validity of the pass): Adults € 53,00 (full price € 64,00); juniors (born after 01.06.2002) € 30,00 (full price € 37,00); children (born after 01.06.2010) for free. - 6 days out of 6 Adults € 76,00 (full price € 89,00); juniors (born after 01.06.2002) € 49,00 (full price € 56,00); children (born after 01.06.2010) for free. - 7 days out of 13 (the use of the lifts is allowed 7 days within the consecutive 13day period of validity of the pass): Adults € 89,00 (full price € 103,00); juniors (born after 01.06.2002) € 56,00 (full price € 66,00); children (born after 01.06.2010) for free. Family Ticket 2018 Purchasing simultaneously 2 adult PanoramaPass tickets (parents or accompanying adults) together with 2 (or multiple) junior PanoramaPass tickets, you get the second junior ticket for free. Enjoy a week in an healthy Alpine setting! Our expert Territorial guides will help you to discover the wonders that our natural environment and our mountains have to offer. The Mountain Guides will accompany you with passion and experience in the more difficult excursions.

Monday

Excursions are divided into different levels: EASY: easy walks suitable for everybody with no altitude gap. INTERMEDIATE/EASY: walks and excursions with very low altitude gap up to max 300m. INTERMEDIATE: more challenging hiking that require more hours of walking and a more important altitude gap, both uphill and/or downhill, up to 700m. DIFFICULT: definitely more challenging excursions for those who want to face great hikes from 700m up to 1000m and walk up to 6/8 hours.

THE FAIRIES’ WOOD WITH SENSORIAL PATH Excursion to discover the undergrowth and its wellbeing philosophy with the “barefooting”. Experience regenerating sensations by walking barefoot in the wood. Final break at Malga Roncac! Meeting point: 9.00 a.m. at Sport Check Point Moena Return: about 12.30 p.m. Altitude gap: ↑ ↓ about 150m. Note: no strollers, hiking baby-carriers only.

MY FIRST VIA FERRATA The Mountain Guides will lead you and teach you the right approach to the via ferrata, starting from the easiest and most panoramic routes of the valley, such as the Roda de Vael, in the group of Catinaccio, or the Bepi Zac, at San Pellegrino Pass. Meeting Point: 8.00 a.m. Sport Check Point Pozza or Moena Return: about 4.00 p.m. Altitude gap: ↑ about 700m, ↓ about 700m. Note: Excursion with a limited number of participants (max 4/5 persons per guide). Mountain Guide and via ferrata-kit hire included in the price.

COL DE TENA - DOLÈDA - PENIA Walking excursion starting from the Belvedere area to descend from its sunny side overlooking the Marmolada, Vernel, Sassolungo and Crepa Niegra massives. After a pleasant refreshment break, we will cross a wild forest and pasture in bloom to reach the characteristic villages of Vera and Lorenz, the highest in Trentino. Meeting Point: 9.30 a.m. Sport Check Point Canazei. Expected return: about 3.00 p.m. Altitude gap: ↑ 150m, ↓ 600m. Note: Bring your own packet lunch.

WITH HEADLAMPS IN THE TRENCHES OF PADON with Mountain Guides. We will explore the First World Trenches in the area of Padon equipped with headlamps. In the afternoon we will visit the Sottoguda canyon or Marmolada glacier accompanied by the Mountain Guides. SASS DE PERE DA FECH Full day excursion through the magnificent Val Jumela to reach the top of Sass de Pere da Fech where the view over the Valley will leave us breathless. Meeting point: 9.00 am at the Buffaure lift station in Pozza di Fassa. Expected return: about 3.00 pm. Altitude gain: about 250 m. Altitude loss: about 800 m. Note: Bring packed lunch. THE FAIRY LAKE AND THE COW MILKING An easy walk around the enchanting Lake San Pellegrino, ending in a mountain farm, where we will try to milk the cows and drink their fresh milk. Meeting point: 3.00 p.m. at the Lake San Pellegrino parking. Return: about 6.30 p.m. Note: No strollers during the walk around the lake. In case of overbooking we’ll organize another excursion on Thursday.

THE EARLY BIRD CATCHES THE WORM Collect the vegetables in the fields of Soreie farm in the most magical moment of the day, where the first rays of sun enhance the dew on the thousand shades of green of the plants. Then let yourself be captured by the aromas and flavors of a rich organic breakfast and follow us in an interesting visit of the farm. Meeting at dawn: 6.00 am at the Soreie farm. Duration: about 4 h. Note: wear comfortable gym shoes or trekking shoes. Price includes a delicious bio breakfast with only Val di Fassa products and the opportunity to bring home a small bag with your own crop.

ANCIENT FLAVORS AT THE MOUNTAIN HUTS Full day excursion with gastronomic steps, you’ll have a taste of the typical local products (different itineraries by visiting the various huts in the Moena’s sorroundings). LET’S BUILD OUR LITTLE SHELTER IN THE WOODS Activity for children to develop manual skills in contact with nature. After a short walk starting from Pozza, we will stop in a small corner of woods next to the adventure park where we will learn how to build a small wooden hut that will be our shelter for lunch. Activity in collaboration with Rasom Wood Technology Meeting point: 10.00 a.m. Sport Check Point Pozza. Expected return: about 2.30 p.m. Meanwhile parents will have the opportunity to relax at the nearby new QC Terme Dolomiti thermal baths.

HIKE & BIKE along the RIDGE of BUFFAURE One of the most panoramic excursions combining trekking and bike! You will be guided by our territory experts and MTB guides along the scenic mountain ridge of Buffaure and ride back along the cycle route. Meeting point: 9.30 at the ticket office of Buffaure cableway in Pozza di Fassa. NORMAL ROUTE OF MARMOLADA with Mountain Guides Climbing excursion to reach the highest peak of the Dolomites. Starting from Pian dei Fiacconi we will ascend the majestic glacier of Marmolada. In the last part we will climb on easy rocks and along a snowy ridge leading up to Punta Penia, at an altitude of 3342 m. Meeting point: 7.45 a.m. Sport Check Point Canazei. HISTORICAL TOUR OF MARMOLADA GLACIER with Mountain Guides. We will cross the Marmolada Glacier roped in and become confident with crampons and ropes. We will visit the First World War emplacements and the highest museum of Europe located at Punta Serauta (2950 m). EXTREME DIFFICULT LEVEL VIA FERRATA (Ex: Piazzeta, Magnifici 4, Eterna, etc.) Ferrata or climbing ?! It’s hard to say which category the extreme via ferratas belongs to. Very vertical and physical passages make it much more similar to a climbing route, since the use of holds for hands and feet becomes indispensable. It is important to have a good technical and physical preparation.

ADEL climbing hall The climbing hall “ADEL” is dedicated to the 4 Fassa Alpine Rescue volunteers who died on the 26th December 2009 in the avalanche of Val Lasties (Alessandro Dantone, Diego Perathoner, Erwin Riz and Luca Prinoth). Features The brand-new, cuttingedge climbing facility is composed of an external part equipped for top roping and lead climbing, divided into two sectors: the first one is characterized by an height of 17 m and a climbing surface of more than 600 sq m; the second one, patented for speed climbing contests, is 15 m high with a climbing surface of 150 sq m. The indoor part hosts a wide boulder area of 260 climbing square meters and a new indoor climbing hall.

WHOLE DAY CROSS COUNTRY STYLE TOUR: PANEVEGGIO NATURAL PARK This Cross Country style tour starts from Moena, in Val di Fassa, and ends in Predazzo, Val di Fiemme. Starting from Moena we will reach the top of Lusia (2.230 m) using the lift. From Alpe Lusia we will first ride down a slope and then pedal up and down until we reach Malga Bocche. An engaging, technical track will lead down to Paneveggio Natural Park where we will ride through the thick woods of the natural reserve and get to Predazzo. We’ll go back to Val di Fassa on the cycle route. Length: 29 km. Elevation gain: about ↑400 m. Elevation loss: ↓1300 m. Meeting point: at 8.30 a.m. location will be communicate at booking. Duration: about 5-7 hours.

LATEMAR TOUR The Latemar tour is a quite easy cross country style tour. We will start from Predazzo by the Ski Jumping Stadion, and take two consecutive lifts up to Feudo Pass (2.170 m). From here we will ride down towards Obereggen. Riding along paths in the forest we will get to the enchanting Lake Carezza and then climb up to Costalunga Pass. According to participants’ skills, the tour can be extended riding towards Nova Levante or catching a more demanding track from Costalunga Pass to Moena. Length: 39 km. Elevation gain: ↑about 450 m. Elevation loss: ↓1558 m. Meeting point: at 8.30 a.m. location will be communicate at booking. Duration: about 5-7 hours.

LAKE CAREZZA ON E-BIKE Leading from Moena up to Costalunga Pass to reach the colorful lake Carezza that hosts Ondina, lady guardian of an ancient legend. The tour offers some alternative routes. HALF DAY TOUR - CROSS COUNTRY STYLE “COSTA DEL SOREIE” Half day tour starting from Pozza di Fassa riding on scenic paths through the woods that will lead us to the Ciampedie’s feet in Santa Giuliana area. From here we will continue riding up to reach the village of Tamion and Costalunga Pass where a beautiful single track will take us back to the valley in the area between Soraga and Moena. We will ride through some of the Superenduro race PS. We will test the new tracks in the Belvedere and Arabba areas until we’ll reach Porta Vescovo and the Padon area with an amazing view of the Marmolada glacier. Length: about 32 km. Elevation gain: ↑ about 350 m. Elevation loss: ↓ about 2820 m. You can extend the tour by taking other lifts, and try other trails. It can be possible to reach 60 km long and 5000 m of descendes. Tandem Paragliding Tandem paragliding flights are accessible to everyone as no specific training is required. Instructors with twenty years of experience will accompany in this particular flight over the valley surrounded by breathtaking views. Once you have taken off from the gentle slope of Col Rodella (2450m) the glide towards Campitello (1440m) will be an unforgettable experience! FLIGHT TYPOLOGIES: Classic flight (glide): take-off from Col Rodella followed by a wonderful panoramic gentle glide down to Campitello. Everybody will enjoy such an healthy, regenerating sport!

On Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays NORDIC WALKING LESSONS Beginner, medium or advanced level lessons, according to the participants’ level. Ice skating A place where great hockey champions face in major league competitions during the winter, where world famous figure skaters perform in Ice Galà evenings and where the magic of ice skating can be experienced!
