Interview
Interviewer: Good morning, everybody. We are here today to talk about food and health. Let me introduce you our guests. Dr House, a famous nutritionist and James, a 15 year-old teenager. James, can you tell me what is your favourite food like? James: Well, my favourite food isn’t very healthy, I guess. What I like most are potato chips, hamburgers and sweets like chocolate, candy bars and cookies. Interviewer: So, we can say that you eat a lot of junk food. Why do you like that sort of food? James: I know it isn’t healthy food, but it’s very tasty and fast to eat. I eat everything in a few minutes. Interviewer: What is your comment, Dr House? Dr House: Well, I agree with James. Junk food is very tasty, indeed. But I think he shouldn’t eat it.
It’s full of salt, fat and sugar and we all know how bad
that is for our health. Interviewer: What can be the consequences of eating junk food? Dr House: Well, people develop diseases like high cholesterol , obesity and diabetes, for example. These diseases can kill us. Interviewer: So, what do you advise us to eat? Dr House: My advice is: eat a lot of fruit and vegetables. They contain vitamins and fibre. Eat fish and just a little meat to get proteins and drink a lot of water to get minerals. James: My mom is always telling me to do that. I think I’m going to follow your advice. Interviewer: Well, that’s all for today. Thank you to our guests. Eat well to keep fit and healthy.
