From Businessman to President, Donald J. Trump, a 3.7 billion USD business tycoon, took on the additional responsibility of running and winning the Presidency of the United States. “The Dawn of a New Era” was the words he used as he spoke about the people taking their rightful place once again as the rulers of this nation! Not only, in his first week as President of the United States did he sign a ban on federal money going to international groups that perform or provide information on abortions, (which was my biggest ban I wanted to see happen), but he has also signed executive orders to construct a wall along the border of Mexico, and to take the US out of the TransPacific Partnership (TPP) deal, as he is

working to “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” President Trump is also working to undo the health care program set in motion by Barack Obama and provide a health care that the people of the United States can afford. During his first week in the White House, President Trump has also signed executive orders to remove roadblocks for the Keystone XL and Dakota Access oil pipelines. According to his words, “We will build our own pipeline. We will build our own pipes like we used to in the old days!” Many news media reporters say that President Trump is no saint, but I will say that he has

what it takes to stand up for America. I was very impressed with his inaugural speech when he said, “For too long, those in politics have reaped the rewards of government while people have borne the cost. Washington flourished, but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered, but the jobs left and the factories closed. The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories. Their triumphs have not been your triumphs and while they celebrated in our nation's capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land.”

politicians agree to hiring freezes and taking away positions that were desperately needed in different departments, but I have not seen one of them forgo their salary to help in any of these areas. Nor have I seen any since President Hoover give his staff part of his salary! And what would it be like to see just one politician forgo his/her salary for the children in the state, who only have one parent providing for them simply because the second parent will not take his/her responsibility! I praise God for our newly elected President, and I will do all I can to pray for him and see him succeed in his office.

Mr. Trump has also stated that he will be making his Supreme Court pick this next Thursday. It is wonderful that we have a conservative President in office at the time a new Judge needs to be selected! And, next week he will be putting a freeze on federal hiring.

There are many, many children all over the world suffering from diseases, hunger, and lack of proper living facilities. “No child should be left behind,” as President Bush once stated. This should have more to do with than just our four or education. We should be concerned about our neighbors. But just who is our neighbors? If you think they are just the ones who live next door to you, then you are sadly mistaken. If you think they are just those of your own so-called race, you are also sadly mistaken. If you have not yet realized, there is ONLY one race. Yes, that is right…There is ONLY ONE race…The HUMAN race. Every child in every country deserves to eat 3 good meals each day, lay their head down on a pillow and have a warm cover with security that they will be safe while their eyes are closed, and that they can wake up and have good clothes to put on, and a place to learn and get a good education.

In my opinion, there is one thing I believe we can count on with our newly elected President. I do not believe President Trump will be off playing golf, running unnecessarily to Camp David, or using US dollars to support trips that has nothing to do with governmental business which will mean less taxes for the citizens! I believe this since he has said he will not even be taking a salary. I do not believe there has been a President that has forgone his salary since John F. Kennedy, who gave his salary to charity, and Herbert Hoover, who split his salary between a number of charities and put the rest towards his staff’s salary, yet most of the other Presidents have all complained that America is in a deficit! I am a previous Missouri State Worker, and I have seen many

So, now the United States has a new President, which is good for America, but what about the rest of the world?

Children have the right to learn and be educated just like the children here in the USA. There are many different foundations raising

money to help children across the country, and some of those same foundations have used the monies improperly. This should never be done, and especially when it involves the lives of innocent children. As President Trump made the statement more than once, “We will Make America Great Again;” it is also time we use our hearts to help make our world great again also. Those who live next door to you, or live across the continent, those are your neighbors. Oh yes…Also, please remember that many of the nations do not understand our culture, so when they message you and ask how you are, don’t be upset with them. They are just wanting someone to care for them and love them too. There are so many true caring people in other countries, and I pray to have

the opportunity to visit many of those countries in the near future. Our first trip is hopefully going to be in the Fall 2017 to Africa. Pray for our trip, our protection, and the funds to make this trip. There are so many things in our hearts that we want to do for people; just to show them God’s love, God’s provision, and God’s hands reaching out to them through us. So, we need your prayers. I appreciate all of you taking the time to read our magazine, like it, and share it with your family and friends. Happy Valentine’s Day!

by: Dr. Bill Hanshew Galatians 6:9 says, “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” Let’s look at a couple of more translations so that we can establish a jumping off place so we can dive into this subject. First of all, The Amplified Bible, Classic Edition says, “And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.” Then the Message Bible says, “So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time, we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit.” In all three of these translations, I see a commonly used phrase which is, “let us not.” It is a common line of thought in Christianity today for many

believers to think that Jesus will fix all of their problems; if they will just pray and seek Him daily, then somehow, everything will just work out. However, we cannot avoid the obvious instructions the Bible gives us. “Let us not” as in let us make a decision or a choice to not give up. While you are endeavoring to do what is right before the Lord, it is extremely important that we do not give up. The New King James says, “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” So, what are some reasons that well-meaning, on fire,

outgoing believers in Jesus get tired out? I think we can find our answer in the wording of these translations. Sherlock Holmes once said, “When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth!” Starting with the NKJV, we are warned not to become “weary” in well doing. The reason such a warning exists is because it has been witnessed many times, while watching

believers become weary and sometimes, just because of doing the same thing over and over again. While doing the same time might be good and right, a person must stay focused on what God has promised. And this verse, just as in the other translations also offers a solution. This goes on to say, “for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” Then the Amplified Bible, Classic Edition says, “And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.” Many times when a person is doing what is noble or right in the sight of the Lord, sometimes experience the enemy attempting to send a negative thought into your mind about how you are just wasting your time while doing that which is the noble thing to do. But we know that honoring God is never about wasting our time or giving up. The bottom line in this scripture becomes very clear when it says, “for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.” Giving up is not an option when it

comes to believing what God has said. We study the Word of God, not only to become filled with scriptures, but also to gain a better understanding of its contents. Once we have a clearer understanding of His knowledge, we continue believing what it says in a greater measure with each level of increase in our understanding. Lastly, the Message Bible says, “So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time, we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit.” As I alluded to earlier, many believers depend on God to completely keep us from giving up. Many think that God sovereignly “makes you stand” in victory and not quit. But in all three of the scriptures used in this article, they show us that we are to “let us not” or “let’s not” instead of God “letting us not!” In other words, you have a choice. Listen, God is for you and not against you (Romans 8:31). He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). As we learn to lean upon the strength of the Lord (Ephesians 6:10) and learn to trust that His Word means what is says, then you can act upon His Word in faith and believe that with each step

you take in Him, supernatural strength will flood your life. So, let us make a personal decision to REFUSE to give up or get fatigued when doing good, as we learn to rest in Him, we can act in faith each day. And at the right time, which is various intervals in our lives, we will experience the harvesting of a good crop, if we don’t give up, or quit.” The Apostle Paul said, “let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” As one commentary states, “Christians sometimes become weary. There is so much opposition to the best plans for doing good; there is so much to be done; there are so many calls on their time and their charities; and there is often so much ingratitude among those whom they endeavor to benefit, that they become disheartened.” This is why Paul addresses and exhorts believers to not to give up, but to continue to persevere. I also want to encourage you to not give up, but continue to believe what God has said in His Word. God is your strength and He has sustained you by His grace through the finished work of His Son. …Think about it!

by: Dr. Glen Hartline Abruptly my eyes sprung open, instantly awake and grasping my right side. It was early in the morning July 2009, it couldn’t have been later than six, and I’m lying there in agony and barely able to breath. The sharp stabbing pain originated from my lower abdomen and shot like a bolt of lightning both up and down my right side. Before I could even consciously contemplate what was happening, like a premeditated attack, thoughts came flooding into my head. “This is serious, I need to go to the hospital” was the voice echoing in my mind. Lying there in a fetal position, trying to gain composure, slowly reason began taking back control of my mind. “Pain, you have no right to be in my body,” I mumbled between labored breaths, “I evict you from my body!” With that being declared I allowed my mind to begin focusing on the task at hand. I couldn’t stay

here balled up in bed. I had to work and knew I must get up. The pain persisted and even intensified a little as I attempted to straightened my body and tried to climb out of bed. I guess it was more of a slither out of bed than a climb as I found myself balled up on the floor and a new revelation that because of the intense pain I couldn’t stand and walk. Now I have been an athlete most of my life. Much of my childhood and into my early twenties was occupied with sports, especially martial arts. I have trained my mind to ignore and even suppress pain, but this was going to be difficult.

Gradually, over twenty to thirty minutes I was able to get my body up and slowly begin walking. Missing work was not an option, this was something that had to be done. I believed in divine healing, I knew it to be a fact. For the previous nine years I had been praying for the sick and even teaching others. I had seen numerous healings and

even been healed myself. I knew It was God’s will for me to be healed, the pain couldn’t change that. Matter of fact, even though the pain was just as bad or even a little worse than it originally was, I knew I was already healed. How can I know that you might ask? It’s simple, it’s the Gospel! Back in 2000 Holy Spirit told me that there was difference between healing and the forgiveness of sins. He said that if Jesus died and forgave all my sins then He died and healed me! He didn’t just tell me, over the period of about eight months He proved it to me! 1 Tim 2:2-4 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. It is clearly shown in 2 Corinthians 5:19, in Hebrews and many other places that Jesus paid the price for all sin. Not just the sin of the believers or those that He knew would make Him Lord of their lives, but the sins of the whole world. God left nobody out when Jesus died on the cross, it is His will that all would be saved. Answer these questions about salvation.

1. What is God’s will for salvation? (All saved) 2. Does He want every person saved? (Yes) 3. Can a person be saved anytime anywhere? (Yes) 4. Does a person have to do anything to earn salvation? (No) 5. Does God save people irrespective of the magnitude and type of sin they are in? (Yes) 6. What is the only requirement for salvation? (Believe) Next, try to answer the same questions again but instead replace “salvation” with “healing.” 1. What is God’s will 2. 3.

for healing? Does He want every person healed? Can a person be healed anytime anywhere? Does a person have to do anything to earn salvation? Can / Does God heal people irrespective of the magnitude and type of sin they are in? What is the only requirement for healing?

Were all your answers about salvation the same as it was for healing? If not, you need to pay very close attention. If it can be proven to you from scripture that healing is provided in the atonement, then you can’t in good conscience differentiate between God’s will for salvation and God’s will for healing ever again. They are the same, always and forever. Isa 53:4-6 Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. (NKJV) 1. Griefs (kholee) =

sickness (Deut 28:61, 1 Kings 17:17, 2 Kings 1:2, 2 Kings 8:8, and other places) 2. Sorrows (Makob) = pains

(Jeremiah 51:8, Job 33:19) 3. Borne (Nasa) = To bear in the sense of suffering punishment for something. (Isa 53:12) 4. Carried (Sabal) = To bear something as a penalty or chastisement. (Isa 53:11) In Deuteronomy 7:15 we read where the Lord will take away from you all sickness (Kholee). In Job 33:19 we read where the word “Makob” is translated “pain”. So from these scriptures it is very evident that Isaiah 53:4 should read, “Surley He has borne our sicknesses and carried our pains.” In Leviticus 5:1 we read that if a soul sins then he shall bear (nasa) his iniquity. In Isaiah 53:12 we read that Jesus was numbered with the transgressors and bare (nasa) the sins of many. It is unquestionably clear that God is telling us that in the same way Jesus bore (nasa) the payment for our sins, He bore (nasa) our sickness and disease and took it away. The Holy Spirit also declares this to be true when He inspired Matthew to quote the passage in Isaiah 53 showing

that He was talking about bodily sickness and disease. Matt 8:16-17 When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demonpossessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: "He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses." What did Jesus do? 1. Cast out spirits 2. Healed all who were sick 3. Fulfilled the prophesy of Isaiah 53 showing that it was indicating physicall sickness and disease. Some may say, “you see, it says that Jesus fulfilled that prophesy through His ministry of healing and not through what He did on the cross. Doesn’t that mean healing and deliverance are not for today? That’s a legitimate question so let’s look into what it means when it says that it was fulfilled. The word fulfilled in the 17th verse is (plerothe – Aorist

passive, subjunctive, 3rd person singular of pleroo). The aorist tense expresses a momentary completed past action that continues and its complete fulfillment is assured. That means what Jesus did not only completed the task in front of Him (healed all) but that single action (healing all) has results that last forever! To further prove that statement let me show you another example. Matthew 12:17-21 that it might be fulfilled (Plerothe) which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “Behold! My Servant whom I have chosen, My Beloved in whom My soul is well pleased! I will put My Spirit upon Him, And He will declare justice to the Gentiles. He will not quarrel nor cry out, Nor will anyone hear His voice in the streets. A bruised reed He will not break, And smoking flax He will not quench, Till He sends forth justice to victory; And in His name Gentiles will trust.” The word for fulfilled used in Matthew 8:17 is the same word used in Matthew 12:17. And just like the way Matthew 8 is quoting Isaiah 53, Matthew 12 is quoting Isaiah 42. If you say that

healing was fulfilled and not part of the atonement, then you have to say He is no longer bringing justice to the Gentiles. That is saying that the Gentiles cannot be saved. Obviously, Jesus is still preaching the gospel to the Gentiles through those who believe in Him and He is also still healing the sick through those that believe in Him! 1 Peter 2:24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. Like Matthew, Peter is also quoting the passage in Isaiah 53. But unlike the prophet Isaiah, Peter stated it in past tense. “…By His wounds (stripes) you have been healed. Now Holy Spirit doesn’t make mistakes so why would he have Peter

misquote the passage? It is because something very important happened between the two verses; Jesus paid the price! That’s right, in the same way Jesus has already forgiven you of all your sins, He has also already healed you of all your diseases, hurts, pains, and mental anguishes. And in the same way you receive His forgiveness of your sins, you receive His healing of your disease. This is the reality that Holy Spirit revealed to me over those many months. This is the reality that He has proven to be true time and time again. Yes I knew the scriptures, Yes I knew God’s will, but when the pain persisted I needed more than just facts, I need much, much more. I need assurance!

You see, the pain didn’t leave within a few minutes, hours, or even days. For a couple weeks, the pain persisted, 24 hours a day the pain did not cease. Like I said before, I’ve learned to suppress pain. Day after day as I worked the pain was there, as I prayed for people on the streets to be healed, the pain was there, even while ministering at a conference the pain didn’t stop. I would minister, go up to my hotel room to lie down, then go back down to minister. The whole time the voices never stopped, “you’ve got appendicitis and are going to die,” or “you’ve got prostate cancer and are going to die.” Then there is the best, “what a man of God you are! You believe God heals but you aren’t healed!” Hour after hour and day after day the pain and the voices were my constant companion.

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!

By: Author/Speaker Larry Thompson How are you measuring? Keeping in mind that good isn’t good; I’m pushing to be perfect. Acceptable simply isn’t acceptable anymore; I’m pushing to be perfect. Jesus gave a standard to measure accurately, “Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect” (Matthew 5:48 NIV). Don’t settle for anything less than what you would expect the Father’s results to be. We are simply yielding to the voice of the Holy Spirit and coming up higher in our expectations and our thinking. Definitely, the results are manifested from His promises in us. That is the kind of glory we have received. Using the word, took, as it appears in the following reference from Matthew 13, I

want to point out the kind of attitude He expects that we have in us. “…The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into a large amount of flour until it worked all through the dough” (Matthew 13:33 NIV). It is an assertive and aggressive action on our part; I own it. It is mine. Taking is a deliberate action on our part—taking what has been given to us. The meaning behind the Greek word, lamban, is “actively lay hold of, to take or receive, to lay hold by aggressively, and assertively.” Simon Peter, a bondservant and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our

God and Savior Jesus Christ (II Peter 1:1 NKJV). To which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ (II Thessalonians 2:14 NKJV).

As you know how we exhorted, and comforted, and charged every one of you, as a father does his own children, that you would walk worthy of God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory (I Thessalonians 2:11, 12 NKJV). Sometimes we connect with what the Holy Spirit is doing in our lives, but He is constantly declaring to us and speaking to our spirit to stretch in new realms where we have never before walked. What He has taught, we have obtained; it is deep in our spirit. We exercise that truth, but He takes it to higher ground—into those other dimensions of His glory. An example of this in my own life was my speaking the words, “Rain, stop!” It was refreshing my own faith and strengthening my life in many ways. I could relate clearly what faith tasted like in my own mouth. If it had been a spice like cinnamon, then every time I spoke, I would recognize that cinnamon flavor. The taste would be familiar in my mouth. One rainy Saturday, while I was driving in busy traffic, I

spoke those cinnamon-type words, “Rain, stop!” And as I had previously experienced, the rain did stop. However, on this occasion about five minutes later, it began hailing. The ground was soon covered with three to four inches of hail. The sight amused me because in my thoughts, I already knew that our words are manifested by the angels. The thought that “my assigned angels,” had been working with my words and were now thinking among themselves saying, “He didn’t say anything about ice cubes.” While still pondering that thought, I immediately spoke out loud, “No precipitation and clear skies as far as I can see!” The clouds that had covered the whole sky began peeling back in a straight line—like someone’s opening a zipper. The sun came bursting through that opening, and as far as you could see, were clear skies. While this was still manifesting, I took out a digital camera right away to capture what my eyes watched. I know that my words did not do this. His words in my mouth are what His angels respond to. They have been empowered to operate on the Word that is

voiced from us—His new creation. “Bless the Lord, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word, heeding the voice of His word. Bless the Lord, all you His hosts, you ministers of His, who do His pleasure” (Psalm 103:20, 21 NKJV). I have already shared how our angels are operating—working with His Word. If you are not speaking His Word, your angels are sitting around the break room, playing cards, drinking coffee, and smoking cigars. This display of humor is so true about what takes place when His words are not abiding in us. The angels have nothing to work with until His Word is spoken. And if you are not born again, your angels are standing in the unemployment line. It should be clearly understood that the spiritual realm is always available to all who call upon Jesus. We have direct access for the Father has qualified us to enjoy His kingdom of light, which is greater than the kingdom of darkness. We agree with that in our language, but now the Holy Spirit is teaching us how we may experience this reality in all that we do and say.

All of us have probably heard scripturally inaccurate statements. Some examples are:  Godly Christians should never experience challenges in their walks with Christ.  When we experience challenges as Christians, it is always an indicator that some area of our walk with Christ is amiss.  The numerous trials and tribulations that the apostle Paul experienced indicate that he did not really understand how to walk in faith.  When we fully understand our rights and privileges in Christ and the spiritual

 authority that He elegated to us, we will no longer face challenges. Looking at scripture, it is obvious that such statements are false. Jesus, our foremost example and the author and finisher of our faith (Heb. 12:2), lived a perfect and godly life, yet He experienced challenges. Though the challenges we face can be an indicator of our having made ungodly choices, they can also be a signal that we are fully led by the Holy Spirit, as indicated by the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness (Matt. 4:1-11; Luke 4:1-13). Paul’s expositions on faith in scripture indicate that he had received abundant revelations

on the topic. Jesus fully understood the rights and privileges and spiritual authority that He possessed as God in the flesh, but even He faced challenges from the Pharisees, Sadducees, and Herodians. Having briefly considered some scripturally inaccurate statements related to challenges, it should be noted that all Christians will, during their sojourns upon this planet, experience, to varying degrees, challenges.

Knowing that, rather than unwisely denying it to be so, it is also imperative that we understand why it is so. Why it is so hinges on many factors, three of which we will focus upon in the remainder of this study: 1. We live on a planet permeated by the effects of sin. 2. All who live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. 3. We live in a warzone where our spiritual enemies seek to destroy us. It is imperative that we remember the planet upon which we reside is saturated with the effects of sin. How that came to be so is recorded in Genesis 3 with the fall of mankind in the garden of Eden. The fact that it is so means that the environment in which we now dwell, one where “the god of this age,” Satan, also resides, is often hostile to the cause of God and His kingdom. As Christians, does that mean we must habitually know failure as we seek to promote the cause of Christ? Clearly, such is not the case, as “the greater one,” Christ, resides in us (1 John 4:4, NKJ). We should also remember that in Christ we are seated “far above all principality and

power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, … in this age” (Eph. 1:21), a position of spiritual authority. Additionally, the “Great Commission,” as recorded in Matthew 28:18-20, assures us that Christ delegated to us spiritual authority. Understanding that Christ resides in us and that we are granted by Him spiritual authority to champion His cause, we need not walk in trepidation. Yet, we should always remain cognizant that we will face challenges in this realm in which we sojourn, in part related to the ongoing effects of sin. Possessing and walking in that knowledge will insure our not being ignorant of the devices of our spiritual enemies (2 Cor. 2:11). Seeking to promote the cause of Christ in this world, we will face many types of challenges, among them persecutions. This too we should remain conscious of, as Christ revealed that such would be the case. We read in John 15:20 (NKJ), “Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you.” Persecutions come in the forms of harassment, mistreatment, and

maltreatment, occurring on psychological, verbal, and physical levels or any combination thereof. They transpire to widely varying degrees when we encounter those whose ideologies are diametrically opposed to the Christian worldview that we embrace and espouse. Encountering persecutions, we may be tempted to respond in fleshly manners. However, Christ’s counsel in Matthew 5:44 (NKJ) is that which we should follow, “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.” Though it may not appear so to us at the time, we must also remember the truth expressed in Matthew 5:11 (NKJ), “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.” Finally, challenges occur because we live in a warzone where our spiritual enemies seek to destroy us. Ephesians 6:12 (NKJ) speaks of this battle, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly

places.” Exposing the goals of our spiritual enemies, John 10:10 (NKJ) states, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.” Furthermore, 1 Peter 5:8-9 (NKJ) reveals the stance that we should take in the face of our spiritual enemies and the nature of their leader, “Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him steadfast in the faith.” Remaining alert, vigilant, and resisting our spiritual enemies (James 4:7),

steadfast in the faith, we will not be found among those that our spiritual enemies “may devour.” Doing so, we are promised, “But the God of all grace, who called us to eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you” (1 Pet. 5:10, NKJ). Finding ourselves among those who are perfected or matured, established, strengthened, and settled, such is a blessed promise. Thankfully, the fact that all of us as Christians face challenges does not mean that

we shall not also partake of the blessings promised in His word. Challenges occur for a variety of reasons, three of which we briefly considered. Facing challenges, we may be tempted to “grow weary while doing good,” yet we must not, “for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart” (Gal. 6:9, NKJ). We too must always remember to “be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that” we “may be able to stand… and having done all stand” (Eph. 6:10-11, 13, NKJ).

by: Dave Kachele Don’t you sometimes wish that all you needed to do to bring someone to Christ is say, “Now is the day of salvation!”? Your friend, family member, or co-worker would just fall to their knees, weeping, and cry out, “What must I do to be saved!?” You’d give them the Four Spiritual Laws, lead them in the sinner’s prayer, slap them on the back, and carve another notch in your Bible. Ridiculous? Indeed! In this article, I’m attempting to answer the question, “What do I need to do to encourage another person to believe in God; to come to know Jesus as I do?” Actually, many do believe in God; they just don’t know Him by the name of Jesus. So, what’s your plan this year? Did you happen to read my article last month? I encouraged readers to make it a top resolution to win and grow a disciple in 2017. I hope the following ideas will help with this goal. Let’s follow 1 Peter 3:15, the theme verse for Win and Grow Ministries. The part you remember, the part many of us cringe at, is “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.” Did you know that there are two more statements in the passage? (No fair looking ahead!) Here’s a 3-part plan, based on this passage, from a well-seasoned Peter, written towards the end of his life: 1. “In your heart(s) set apart Christ as Lord.” This 1st sentence is the most important of the three. Some of you know that I’ve written a 50-day devotional – seven weeks and a day. The first twenty-one days are based on this short phrase. Don’t worry, I’ll summarize. This statement is actually a rewording of the greatest commandment to love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. When we understand and deeply receive the fact that we are precious beyond measure to God, then we are compelled to love Him back the same way – with everything that we are, have, or ever will

be! We learn how He made us. We become intimately familiar with our own ongoing, never-ending Jesus story. He alone is the King of our lives! God’s purpose becomes ours. THEN, we can …. 2. “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.” Until I have set apart Christ in my heart as Lord, I cannot hope to encourage someone else to believe in Him as Savior and Lord. The passage says to share the reason for the hope that YOU have. Sharing your faith isn’t hard! God will put you in contact with people who need to hear your story. Be ready to share it! How did you come to know Jesus? What’s He doing in your life right now? How else can you “be prepared?” Knowing some Bible verses like John 3:16 and 1st John 1:9 will be helpful. Do you interact with people with a different religion? You can learn about it and where it’s off from the biblical message of salvation. But the main way to “be prepared” is to love the person you want to witness to and pray for him or her. THEN, watch for the Holy Spirit to open the door for you “to give the reason...” 3. “But do this with gentleness and respect.” That’s part three of this wonderful passage. 1-Love God. 2-Love People. 3-Share the Gospel with gentleness and respect. Isn’t that exactly how we want to witness? Most of us are not aggressive Bible thumpers. We’re not supposed to approach people that way. We respect them. We don’t just preach. “Gentleness and Respect” One of the greatest secrets of winning someone to Christ is to be a good listener! When you listen, you get to know a person. THEN, you’re prepared to share your faith. You have rapport. You have a friendship. Is that it? No, not at all! Ask yourself this question? “Do I love _____________ enough to help them grow in their faith?” That’s right. We are called to grow disciples, not just make spiritual babies. Be prepared to stick with your friend. They need to become solid in their relationship with Jesus. THEN, they will want to prepare themselves to win and grow a disciple too! The theme for “FAITH UNLIMITED” this month is “DON’T WAIT...DO IT NOW!” ONE – TWO – THREE Commit or recommit your life fully to Jesus. Prepare yourself to be ready to share the Gospel as the Lord leads. Share the reason for the hope that you have with gentleness and respect.

by: John Woolston I hear people (especially preachers) continually saying that we need to preach more about repentance. They say that we need to tell people to repent! Sometimes I would just like to know exactly what they mean by that and what they want people to do. I know what it means to repent and I know what the word means. But honestly, I think that many of those who harp on this have no idea what they are talking about. From what I gather from listening to the tone of what they are saying, I think they have certain standards and criteria that they use to assess whether or not people have actually repented. If the subjects of their judgment do not measure up to those standards, then apparently, they deem that they are not saved. Many are criticizing the pastors of some of the larger churches that thousands attend, claiming that they are not preaching repentance. Sometimes I would like to ask them if the message of repentance that they are preaching is working. Is their message of repentance attracting people to Jesus, and if so, just how many people are coming to their church? I think that we need to take a step back sometimes and imagine what all of this would have sounded like to us on the day before we were saved. For someone like me who was not raised in

a church and had no understanding at all of biblical terms it would not have attracted me to Jesus at all! In fact, it would have been a complete turn off! What does it mean to repent? To repent means to change your mind. If you are asking or telling people that they need to repent, what are you asking them to repent from or to? I mean that if “repent” means to change your mind or to have a change of mind, then what are you presenting to them to which they can adhere?

inner man (particularly with reference to acceptance of the will of God), repent.

• When you are bringing a person to the place of repentance you are taking them from where they are in their thinking to a better place that is more beneficial. You giving them something to believe other than what they believe right now.

I think that we make a mistake by taking the word, “repentance” out of its context. When we do it becomes an abstract that the common, spiritually uneducated, unsaved person cannot relate to. They might be hearing that they need to change their ways and live their lives differently, but how many people are going to do that just because someone tells then that they need to do so? It is like telling someone that is addicted to cigarette smoking that they need to quit smoking. They are not going to quit smoking just because you said they should! They like their smoke! If you are going to make any progress with a smoker you have to create a desire in them to be free and bring them to the place where they can make a decision that is their choice. You have to show them that life without smoke is better! I believe that it is the same way when we deal with people who need to repent, whether they are saved or unsaved. We have to give them something different to believe other than what they presently believe. Once they have heard the gospel truth that we have shared with them and have made a decision to embrace it as a belief, they have repented! 14

Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. (Mark 1:14-15) I want you to notice that the scripture says that when Jesus came on the scene, He first came preaching the gospel of the kingdom. So, He was teaching and preaching to the people the good news of the Kingdom of God. What is the good news of the kingdom of God?

If we look at the text He used when He preached in the synagogue in Nazareth, He used Isaiah 61:1. 18

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. (Luke 4:18-19) He preached prosperity to the poor, healing for the brokenhearted, deliverance for the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, liberty for those who are bruised and He proclaimed the year of Jubilee. If this was what He was preaching everywhere, we can see that He was giving everyone something new to believe. When we read further in Luke, Chapter 4, we read that He said to the people, “This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears!” So, my point is that Jesus gave the people something to believe and then said, “Repent and believe the gospel!” That means that He brought them to a place of understanding and then told them to make a decision. Folks, you can’t just tell people to repent and expect them to fall on their face and go to calling out to God for mercy! You have to first give them something to believe so they can repent (or have a change of mind)! After Jesus rose from the dead and appeared to His disciples the scripture says that He opened their understanding of the scriptures. He told them that repentance and remission of sins must be preached in all the world. And He also told them that they must not go to do what He had commissioned them to do until they were endued with power from on high, in other words, until they were baptized in the Holy Ghost. (Luke 24:45-48, Acts 1:8) 19

So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. 20 And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen. (Mark 16:19-20) When we read the account of what Peter preached on the Day of Pentecost, we read that He did a thorough job of verifying everything he preached from the scriptures. At the CONCLUSION of his message he said in verse 38, “Repent, be baptized and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost!” He did not mention repentance until he had first given them something to believe, and we shouldn’t either!

I have not dealt with the aspect of the remission of sins, but let me say that when anyone hears the gospel message and makes Jesus Lord, their sins are remitted! They are washed away and disappear! 21

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. (II Cor. 5:21) 21

But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. (Roans 3:21-26) Repentance takes place when a person hears and understands the good news of the gospel and then embraces that truth by a decision of their will. It is an ongoing process that should be taking place all the time as we renew our minds to think as God would have us to think. Repentance is impossible without the stimulus of truth that is new to us. This is why I think that people who say that certain successful ministers are not preaching repentance donâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t even know what they are talking about. Those who are sharing truth that is changing the lives of those who adhere to their teachings are indeed helping people to come to the place of repentance because the people are hearing and believing things that they did not embrace before.

(Galatians 5:22-23, NKJV) The last five months or so, the LORD has had me camping out on Galatians 5:22-23. I have been digging deep into the scripture and discovered very interesting information about, “kindness”. At face value, kindness is generally viewed as being friendly, considerate, and caring. However, according to Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance, kindness is:  goodness in action  sweetness of disposition  gentleness in dealing with others  the ability to act for the welfare of those taxing your patience The deeper meaning of the word, kindness, has opened my eyes to God’s call on our lives as believers. So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. (John 13:24, NLT) And you must love the LORD your God with

all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength. The second is equally important: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' No other commandment is greater than these." (Mark 12:30-31, NLT) Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things,

hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. (1 Corinthians 13:4-8, NKJV) Be kind and helpful to one another, tenderhearted [compassionate, understanding], forgiving one another [readily and freely], just as God in Christ also forgave you. (Ephesians 4:32, AMP) Godâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s Word is abundantly clear, we are to love

as He loves and be kind, have goodness in our actions, have a sweet disposition (a person's inherent qualities of mind and character), be gentle in our dealings with others, have the ability to act for the welfare of those taxing our patience. We can only fulfill this command to Godâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s standards by staying connected to our Vine. (John 15:5) Independent of our Vine, we can do nothing good. We have to stay so deeply connected to our Vine, we cannot see the other person. (Luke 23:34)

by Tyler G. Johnson I grew up in religion. I don’t mean the kind of religion that James refers to that is focused on caring for the orphan and widow…I mean the natural thinking of men. Spiritless. Spineless. Devoid of life. A masquerade and mockery of love. I mean the kind of dry that you only encounter in the Saharan desert, devoid of any life.

Not even remotely heartfelt or supernatural. This religion, my pharisaical pursuit, was always about what was to come, not what we had already. In our present we were experiencing a meager, if

existent at all, presence of God. And we settled for that, mainly because that was what we expected. All we knew were teachings pertaining to suffering masked as holy abstinence, the dark night of the soul, theological confusion, and nonparticipation from virtually anything that included pleasure. Joy, dare we even mention the word, was nonexistent. But it wasn’t that people didn’t look happy. People looked plenty “happy” but the “happiness” they had was plastic and molded and bent. Real happiness is being conscious of the nearness of God. Real happiness overflows from the soul when a man’s spirit is possessed by the Spirit of God. Your all is no longer yours because of delight and awe; You gave you a way out of sheer bliss.

See, it wasn’t until I left the addiction of religion that I got addicted to an altogether more alluring substance. The Most High is the best high. He is the apex of pleasure and joy, and the Good News of the Gospel is that you do not need to wait to experience it. The Good News is that it isn’t your church meetings or your good behavior in your pharisaical pursuits that will qualify you to experience this heavenly bliss. Jesus prayed, “On earth as it is in heaven” not “let them leave the earth and go to heaven.” Our

commissioning has never been rapture or escape because God knows He is big enough in us for Him to change the earth into a place that looks like Heaven. That means that you do not need to wait until you die to experience heaven. You are already seated in heavenly places according to Ephesians 2:6. You have dual citizenship. You can be there and here at the same time. If the only way a person knows how to experience contentedness, joy, and peace is to die and go to heaven then death is their salvation rather than Christ. Death is not the doorway to heaven, Christ is. It is not your death that gets you into heaven but His death. And when you hung with Him on that bloody cross then slept in that dark, dank tomb with Him, you entered through that doorway. Heaven is now, not just to come. Faith is also now. When Jesus told Martha that Lazarus would be raised from the death, Martha interpreted His words through hope rather than faith, thus hearing a doctrinal statement rather than a declaration of power and love. She responded with rattling off what she had heard in the synagogue like a good girl, but she completely missed the meaning of Christ’s words. He was being so simple, so straightforward. He didn’t mince His words or stutter. He meant He was about to raise Lazarus from the dead, so He clarifies to Martha that He is the

resurrection and the life, not primarily an event that will take place in the future. When we substitute faith for hope when the situation is requiring us to believe now, it results in unbelief. The Good News is that you can be happy now. The Good News is that Christ died 2,000 years ago, so that through Him you can experience not only sinlessness, but the joy that comes with the fellowship of Holy Spirit. Religion says you must wait till heaven for you to be happy, but Jesus says you can have it now. Why wait? Just receive it now. It is our thinking, our expectations, our lack of faith and revelation that limits us from experiencing what He already made due for us. You don’t need to do anything different to experience heaven on earth, just believe. But what of the times when life becomes hard even when we believe? That is when we get to put to use one of the most powerful tools God has ever given us. That is the time to do as David did to “Strengthen Himself in the Lord” after everyone abandoned him. You can call it whatever you want: thanksgiving, remembrance, communion, the power of the testimony, etc. It is a sitting in what God has done until it becomes more real to you than what hasn’t happened yet is the key to being happy whether

your day was wonderful or terrible. It is everything. Remember that the dark night of the soul is an unbiblical idea. This way of thinking sets us up to expect darkness rather than expect light. But if you focus on what God has done and will do, you will transform that dark night that you are in into the noonday sun. Deserts become pools of cool water. God would never put you in a place where you would not be able to find water. He would leave you alone. Sometimes you must just dig, and I dig by simply remembering past prophetic words people have given me, biblical promises, and things that He already did in the past. As I focus on what He has done and what He will do, what He hasn’t yet done starts to look smaller and smaller. Soon my heart is overflowing with gratitude towards Him for all that He has done when just ten minutes prior to that I was sinking in the pit of depression and self-pity, wondering how I would get through the day! God is for you. That alone is reason enough to be happy for the rest of your life. He loves you. He is with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. He will fill you. He will come through. You have a destiny and a call and He will fulfill it. Believe it and when you don’t, begin to remember the works of the Lord.

Have you ever trudged through the house front to back, up and down, rummaging in drawers, searching through pockets, peering into cabinets, under beds, the car glove box, under the car seats…only to realize that the reading glasses you were searching for were on your face the whole time? I’ve done that more times than I care to admit. The only thing I got from it was a waste of precious time and a “duh” hand-slap to the forehead! For years, I participated in this same exercise in frustration when it came to

God’s blessing (whatever that was in my mind at the time – money, promotion, house, car, etc.). Traveling to meetings, getting people to pray for me, buying up books and programs claiming the seven-step secret to God’s blessing, and on and on. Maybe you can relate. I was looking “out there” to find it when all along it was so close I couldn’t see it – just like the glasses on my face.

We tend to think of blessings as things – cars, money, houses, great job – when in fact these are a by-product of something vastly superior. We can see this in the story of God and Abraham. “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing…... I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed…” Genesis 12:2; 22:17,18 (emphasis mine)

The Lord has blessed my master abundantly, and he has become wealthy. He has given him sheep and cattle, silver and gold, male and female servants, and camels and donkeys. Genesis 24:35

God spoke His blessing to Abraham in the context of covenant. The wealth was a blessing, a by-product of the blessing spoken to Abraham. “Well, that’s a nice story, and great for Abraham, but what’s that got to do with me and my blessing?”, you might ask. Great question. Stay with me - we’re getting there! This blessing, spoken by God himself, would fulfill the desire in the heart of God from before the foundation of the world and carry into eternity. You and I are at the heart of that spoken blessing to Abraham, as we will soon see. “… and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed…”

God Has Spoken His Blessing to You! Words are powerful. Words carry a message. They reveal the heart of the one who speaks. When God speaks, the message has substance. Life happens. Light is. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:1, 4, 14

This is huge! I hope you grasp the magnitude of this message, this Word, from the Father to you. JESUS, THE WORD, IS GOD’S SPOKEN BLESSING TO YOU ! How blessed is God! And what a blessing he is! He’s the Father of our Master, Jesus Christ, and takes us to the high places of blessing in him. Long before he laid down earth’s foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. Long, long ago he decided to adopt us into his family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure he took in planning this!) Ephesians 1:3 – 5 (The Message)

The Word, Jesus, carries the message from the Father of your value and worth. His love for you is so great, He chose to unite Himself to you for eternity. Even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ… And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2: 5, 6 (AMP)

In Jesus, you and I have been raised up into God Himself, so that you are now one with, in union with, the Blessing and the Blesser.

OK, here is where I do the “duh” hand-slap to the forehead (the glasses were on my face the whole time)! All this running from one meeting to another, getting every new and improved program on how to be blessed – I already had what I was trying to get! More than that, I was trying to be what I already am. I AM the blessed and I AM a blessing!

God has spoken His Blessing over you in the person of Jesus. You can choose to take God’s thoughts and see yourself, not as waiting to be blessed, but as THE BLESSED. Will you do it? Ask your Father to persuade your heart. He wants to convince you that all things are yours, all things are possible because you are IN the Blessing.

Finally, I am writing to you with my latest healing testimony ... I was taking Advil for several weeks following surgery in late 2015. I've never had stomach issues, so it didn't concern me. In January 2016, I had a burning sensation in my stomach that wouldn't go away; late that night my stomach felt like it was on fire! I was taken to hospital by ambulance, and the ER doctor suspected an ulcer. Five days later, the burning returned, so I went to my family doctor, who prescribed a 30 day round of ulcer medication. What scared me about this medication is that it apparently relieves symptoms, but is not a cure. The pharmacist told me "it works great, I've been on it for years". I thought to myself, "I have no intention of being on medication for years". I'm going to be healed. Five days after that, another attack. Seven days after that, another attack (February 9) - This was also Two Guys and a Bible Tuesday night Healing School. By: Tom Tompkins, Jr. What You Need To Know Before Going Into Business Part 2 â&#x20AC;&#x201C; Money Matters When I first began studying the subject of money during the year 2007, I was overjoyed at what I was learning. I realized how little I knew concerning the subject of money but I was grateful to know that it is never too late to learn something new and begin applying it to daily life and beyond. The majority of people who understand money and know how to create wealth, learned about such things from their parents. Such things are not taught in school and are taught in church on a very

limited basis. This means most people do not understand money. Many use the â&#x20AC;&#x153;earn and saveâ&#x20AC;? method which ultimately leads to a stressful life. This takes place due to the fact that earning and saving causes one to make many sacrifices while preparing for eventual retirement. The problem is that the day retirement comes, the money saved over the course of many years goes out, continues to be taxed, but does not bring any sort of return. This is the difference between living by faith or

from miracle to miracle as opposed to creating wealth: a process in which money is working for you or without you. Remember, faith is the substance of things hoped for, not the substance of what you already have. God does not want you living in lack in any area of your life, no matter how large or small the deficit may be.

Per the words of Deuteronomy 8:18, God has given us the power to get wealth, but God has not given us the power to believe for money. There is a big difference between the two. Yes, everyone is capable of believing for money but such a practice is not God’s best. I bring this information to light in order to aid in avoiding passivity. Often, when believing by faith, many people simply wait on God, thinking that opportunity will come their way without their taking action. However, the rest of this article will deal with teaching you to take action by putting motion to your boat and taking intentional steps forward. I bring this information to light because money is eventually going to be necessary in any business venture. Some say, “It takes money to make money.” While this isn’t always the case, in order to grow a business to what it is capable of being, some amount of money will eventually be needed. During the course of my continued financial education, I read books, listen to teaching series and watch many documentaries and training courses. During my

earliest days of doing so, a lack of the mentioning of finances quickly stood out to me. Even within the walls of the business school I attended, the subject of obtaining money was touched upon, but not with great depth. When it comes to going into business, a key area of research should deal with the subject of funding and how to obtain funding. Knowing how this process works will make the difference as to whether or not one is able to obtain the capitol needed to move forward. What is your venture going to cost? Where will the money come from? Will there be a way to pay it back as quickly as possible based on available income? Below are some potential avenues to take in order to secure proper funding for your business venture.  Entrepreneur (Use your own money)  Family and Friends  Crowdfunding (online campaigns used to raise money)  Angel Investor (An Accredited Investor)  IPO (Initial Public Offering – going public) In some cases, you may attempt to obtain a traditional

bank loan. However, this is an area in which research is of utmost importance, not that research is not important in all areas of potential funding, but the banking industry can be rather tricky to work with. Banks are interested in what you have earned over the past two years based on your income tax returns. Depending on those numbers and your current assets, among additional variable, the bank will make a determination as to whether or not they will give you a loan or not. Personally, I recommend staying away from traditional bank loans if at all possible unless you already have an asset in place that will pay the monthly note without reaching into your own pocket to do so. If you choose the use someone else’s money, as opposed to using a bank loan, what is the best way to go about repaying the investor or investors? Keep in mind, the method I am about to present to you involves zero interest and you will not have to personally pay it back. Sound good? Here is the method. Let’s say you need $400,000. 1. Find ten people who each have $40,000 to invest.

2. Form an LLC (Limited Liability Corporation), selling forty percent of the company to the investors. 3. Present a business plan to the potential investors in order to show them what opportunities and incentives are available to cause them to desire to invest. 4. Create a board of directors using the investors. The board of directors will provide motivation to be sure their

investment will give them a solid return. Once your company begins to make money, you will sell out another nine percent to the investors / board of directors based on the fact that the company is now worth much more than it was when originally started using the $400,000 investment. At this point, you are fifty one percent owner of the company: you win and so do your investors! When all is said and done, patience is the key. Take the time to research and discover the exact amount of money you need to begin in business.

Create a business plan to present to potential investors. On a side note, seek out experienced investors as opposed to those who simply have a large amount of money available but are not experienced in knowing how to invest their money. In essence, this is your due diligence. If you follow the advice given in this article, you will not only get the money you need to start a business, you will also develop the important habit of research and patience.

Preheat Oven 350 degrees Yield: 1-9 inch Round Ingredients: 1 1/2 cup Rice Flour ( Brown or White) 3/4 cup Cocoa or Cacao Powder 1/2 teaspoon Salt 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda 1/2 cup Honey 1/2 cup Sour Cream 1/4 cup Vegetable Oil 3 Eggs 1/2-3/4 cup Warm Water PREPARATION: Spray 9" round pan with Cooking spray. Set Aside. Sift All Dry Ingredients together twice Add Honey, Sour Cream, Vegetable Oil, Eggs. Beat by Hand or with Electric mixer on Low/ Medium until mixture is fully Combined Adding warm water and beating until batter is smooth. Pour batter into 9-inch baking pan, and place on middle rack in oven Bake 20 minutes. Test with toothpick removing from oven when there is a small amount of batter on the tooth pick. Let cool before topping with Ganache. Ganache Recipe: Chocolate ganache is used as a glaze, icing, or a filling. It’s commonly believed it was invented around 1850 in

Switzerland or in France. It is easy to make, consisting of roughly half chocolate and half cream, depending on its use and recipe. Using a higher quality chocolate will result in a better flavor and texture. Get all your ingredients together and ...Go! ( The first two letters in God ) This recipe easily multiplies to cover more cakes or cupcakes. The yield on this is 12 oz or about a cup and a half. INGREDIENTS: 1 Egg Yolk 1 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar ( can substitute Turbinado) 1/16 teaspoon Vanilla Extract just a splash... 8 oz ( ½ lb) Semi-sweet Chocolate ( Baker’s “German’s” 54% Cacao semi-sweet recommended) ½ cup Heavy Cream

PREPARATION: Whip the egg yolks, sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Cut the chocolate into small pieces,( or finely shaven) place in a saucepan, and add the cream and melt over lowest heat until fully melted, stirring constantly, *Note: if you use a thermometer this should read about 150 degrees F (65 C) Very Slowly... in a small stream add the warm cream/chocolate mixture into the egg yolk mixture stirring constantly. Keep stirring at low speed for a minute or so to make sure the sugar is melted. Let the ganache cool and pour or spoon over the cake. Taste and See...and enjoy! Raw Chocolate Ganache Cakes Ingredients: 1 c Dates 3 c Walnuts ½ c +2 T Cacao Powder ¼ t Salt 2 T Agave Puree dates in food processor to form a paste and remove. Puree nuts and rest of ingredients as fine as you can then add pureed dates and process until dough forms. Roll out to about ¼ inch thick and cut into 4 inch

rounds then refrigerate. Assemble with ganache frosting, raspberries and raw raspberry sauce. Chef Jay says you can use the Raspberry Coulis recipe I have below to bless and dress this cake...the raw version is just blended strained and uses Agave instead of sugar...both are good for both recipes! Ganache Frosting 1/3 c Dates 1 Avocado ¼ c Agave 1/3 c Cacao Powder In food processor puree dates. Add rest of ingredients and puree until smooth.

Last, a special presentation I came up with years ago...when I was doing a personal Cheffing gig and hired to do a special Romantic dinner for two….Cool gig I am smiling just remembering it...Just so cool celebrating Love...as I like to share when you read the Word…try when you read “God” or any of his many names….say “Love” it's a cool expression of God/Love that touches the deep part of us where we have opened up and invited The Lord/Love...to live in…sharing from a conversation with a Chef Brother. “Interesting what different folk as I ask Chefs and others what their Fav Valentine’s Day recipe is...good food appeals to us all differently and savory gets me "exited" more than sweet...Truly one of the "ways" to our hearts...is through our mouths and stomachs...delighted and filled with the Goodness of God...who is Love...Amen? I think also that is why He says to “chew" on His Word... Taking a path of less resistance...we willingly put food in our mouths...Ahhh yeah, taste and see! So this is a “Seeing” recipe...And anyone can do this...Trust me! Everyone has a desire in their heart to please the one they love so just have fun with it. First off, you will need your lover or special friend’s favorite color/flavor/chocolate or Candy, candy bar/ fruit ...Knowledge is power and showing how much you know about your “intended “ will make a good impression on his or her heart…remember there is no right or wrong way to do this...just use your heart and it will turn out fantastic...because it came from you...and goes to him or her as special and unique as they are to you! OK, let me give a couple examples ..before even the ingredients you need to open some cans looking for a # 300 size (14-16 oz) can with a smooth inside if possible planning ahead you can ask friends and church family to save you some cans...the size is pretty important for this presentation Ok. Get two cans, and cut the bottom of the can out to have a tube. Ok, so let's say your intended really loves Raspberries, their fav color is pink, and they love Mounds candy bars, and they love roses Prep/Shopping: list includes ( but is not limited too) One Jiffy brand Cake or Muffin mix white or yellow( they are small and make one 9 inch round cake…) Raspberries Red food coloring Coconut A nice dark chocolate bar like Ghirardelli etc And a Rose pink of course or a few to have petals... Preparation: Preheat Oven to recommended heat on box directions Make the cake/muffin mix per directions on package adding a few drops of food coloring to make it a shade of pink… Spray the can inside with pan spray or using a paper towel grease, oil, or butter the inside.

Place the two cans on a cake pan or heavy sheet pan prepping the surface with aforementioned spray, oil, butter. Need it to be level if it is not perfect place a piece of heavy Aluminum Foil and wrap the bottom part of the can also prepping it as before. Bake and test with a toothpick as it as it will cook quicker than the cake directions may indicate. When completely done let cool. Will also cool quicker… Run a butter knife around the can to loosen and pull the cake out as best as you can. While cake is cooling more make the Raspberry Coulis… Ingredients 1 pint raspberries ( save two raspberries out) ¼ Cup Agave ( or 2 Tablespoons of Sugar) Directions: Combine raspberries and sugar in a saucepan. Cook until raspberries are broken down, about 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and strain through a strainer to remove seeds. Take the coconut and also put in a few drops of red food coloring and mix it well to distribute the color and making it a pink/white combo is ok ;) also… Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces and put into a glass or microwave safe measuring cup and warm for 15 seconds at a time removing and stirring until melted Now set up a big plate with the two cakes near each other at center...as best you can make a large heart around the cakes with the melted chocolate pouring from the cup. Now take the Raspberry Coulis and spoon or pour half over the top of each cake letting it randomly drip over the edge. Now sprinkle coconut over cakes within the heart as best you can...place a Raspberry on top of each cake. Lay a rose between the cakes and scatter some petals over the dessert table ( can be a TV tray covered in a white cloth or napkins) And have your dessert wherever you want… Celebrate God in Love...Celebrate Love...in God. Kathy Weddle Sometimes we get so settled into a relationship, we lose track of how deep it goes until there is a crisis. “The cares of this world” get us deeply entrenched in their drama; the extraordinarily fast paced world we live in has us barely hanging on; we’re overloaded with information; demands pull at us from every side and after a while, we begin ignoring the less insistent issues. Somewhere in that process, a relationship is abandoned, often because it appeared less demanding from the days things were balanced between husband and wife to make it feel safe and unsinkable. But that’s the trouble; relationships need constant care, whether they seem like it or not. In fact, the reason a marriage is healthy is because of the attention both partners pay to the relationship; not just the big things, like anniversaries or life events, but little, seemingly inconsequential things, remembering how your partner’s toast is buttered, how much sugar in the coffee,

change for bus fare, recalling a favorite memory “out of the blue.” My husband and I have had a pretty challenging year with health issues; his health issues. 2014 was my year; we got a bit of a break in 2015, then 7 hospital visits, the most serious and recent between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year; a lovely 10 day stay, 5 of them in ICU on a ventilator. You don’t realize how utterly you depend on mundane, daily conversation until it’s taken

from you. Ray developed several serious issues rapidly, landed first in the Progressive Care Unit, then, because of respiratory distress, in ICU with a tube down his throat in a medically induced coma. Thank God it didn’t last long, and the Father could use it to His advantage to show His glory during the healing process. I cannot express the frustration of having my man right in front of me; needing to make decisions we’d always made together, but all I could do was look at that beloved face and hold his hand. For 3 days. We’ve always been a 24/7 couple; I know that’s not for everyone (our pastor jokes about his wife sending him on 1 and 2 day trips so she can “get something done”), but Ray and I have literally been together now 29 years. We even worked in the same area of the same company. We could go long periods in silence and be perfectly comfortable; yet there was always communication going on at a deeper level. We talked about everything. Till that day. I take care of most of our business, after we’ve come into agreement about a matter. So right at first I didn’t notice. Then, a legal decision needed attention; in fact, should have had attention long before this. There I was, sitting in front of the head of the house with a tube down his throat and unconscious, unable to act due to a signature needed from him. Finally, he woke up….sort of. He began writing notes on a steno pad (I held it). What a relief! Until I discovered he was not remembering anything; I had to answer the same question over and over. He was cognizant; but, due to meds intended to make him forget his experience, he forgot everything in that time frame. On the 5th day, they “woke him up” and removed the tube. God is good; we’d had a lot of witnessing opportunities to hospital personnel because of the experience.

Still in ICU, Ray was about to have his first meal in several days and asked if somehow, we could sit across from each other. In an act of pure kindness, his nurse rearranged equipment and tubes (he still had 4 IVs going!) and squirreled a hospital tray between us. Why? So we could communicate. Face to face. It was amazing. I have some take aways from this experience.  Don’t let your relationship get stale. Don’t let the insanity of the world around you drown out the quiet voice between you; you will need it.  Get legal affairs in order. Period. There are many more affordable ways to do it these days. Don’t take that for granted and don’t blow it off. This experience has us in full swing to make sure we’re ready for anything. End of life business needs to be taken care of before the end of life, not during or after. Love your loved ones enough to do that.  Keep your eyes on Jesus. He took us through every step. Every step. I honestly don’t know how people function during crises without Him.  Allow family and friends to help. This is when they can shine for you. Don’t hesitate to ask for help. Remember “bear one another’s burdens.” How does this tie into love? When my parents left this world for Heaven, all I had to do was pick up the phone and make 1 call; everything was already arranged. We can’t all do that; but love will do as much as possible to answer questions and arrange a path for those left behind through that most difficult time. Explore ways to do that now. Don’t assume it’s too early. It’s not. MAKE time for your relationship; get counseling if you need it. Not just spouses,

either; it’s heartbreaking to hear of parents and children or siblings. Please, make effort, a lot of effort! Forgive, make peace, communicate! Jesus is our Best Friend and the Lover of our souls. He not only wants to be our Savior, He wants to be by our side for every part of our

lives. We’re His favorite people! From the inside out, He desires to permeate every part of us. I sensed His Presence every step of the way; giving strength, energy, and grace to walk through it. I would not have wanted to go through this life without Him, much less a crisis. If that is not descriptive of “The Lover of my soul”, I don’t know what is.

As he settled into the window seat, my seven-year-old son proudly pinned the airline

You hear people say, “I’m waiting on God” or “God is teaching me patience,” or my personal favorite, "I’m believing God is gonna..." (What does that even mean?) Their badge says, Christian in waiting, and they wear it proudly. All the while, they are ticked off as other people seem to be immediately getting what they want. They respond in outrage with phrases like, “Why didn’t they have to wait? Where’s their badge? I have been wearing mine for years! They aren’t even obedient!” Somehow people have the ability to believe that they are going to be eternally secure

but think the only way God is going to be happy with them here on earth is for them to sit around and wait for 70 years for something to drop out of the sky. Faith is now Heaven already came He lives in you Since when did "waiting for something to happen" become the premier event in the Christian Olympics? Did

Jesus command the New Covenant believer to wait to unwrap the gifts He gave? How long do you have to endure before you to qualify? Does God require a waiting period before you get to receive everything He freely gave? Make a two-column list. On the left, write down the things that you are waiting for and on the right the things that God said He already gave. I’ll pause the article until you finish!

What if God’s definition of waiting is different than yours? Are you willing to go against decades of brain programming and habits? Here's a widely-repeated example from Isaiah 40:31: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary, and they shall walk, and not faint. (KJV) This verse makes a beautiful wall plaque or a well-placed verse on a get-well card, but it’s not written as a commandment to you. In all his prophecies, Isaiah was telling about the Son of God, Jesus. He came. He delivered. Done. No waiting. What is the Jesus-method for delivering this promise Isaiah spoke? Gifting you the Holy Spirit to Live in you. The Strengthener. You can say, “As one who received the Strengthener, I AM renewed, in flight, tireless, not fainting.” What if I told you that God used the same Hebrew word for the phrase, "they that wait" in Genesis 1:9 when He said, "Let the waters under

the heavens be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. (ASV). The word qavah also means to bind, collect, tie together, and gather." You can now read Isaiah 40:31 in Light of Redemption and proclaim, “I am gathered and twisted up together with God, His strength lives within so I can soar…” Again, no waiting. Did God ever command you to wait for Him? Did He command the believer to wait for Holy Spirit? God did this one-time. In Acts 1:4 the Greek word perimenō “wait for” is only used this one time in the whole New Testament. "And, being assembled with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me." (KJV) Perimenō is a compound word that can mean, "wait for," but these words also have the meanings of completeness and abiding. Put these two word meanings together, and you have the prophecy of the disciples not departing to “complete the abiding.” This Gift was going to fulfill the promise Jesus

gave in John 14 when He said, "And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever--The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you. (AMP) Jesus did the work, once and for all. How’s your two-column list looking? On the right, all things that are immediately yours upon Salvation; Love, Peace, Comfort, Intercessor, Joy, Advocacy, Zoe-Life, Comfort, Best-friend, Counselor, Strengthener, Standby, Oneness, Hope, Resurrection Power, New Life, Healing. All things that Jesus said He was going to the cross to settle up for you. He completed that. On the left side of the list? Maybe things like a new car or job? Fine, you can wait for stuff, but use your onboard navigation system of the Holy Spirit to figure out the best way to get a new car. The four-door of your dreams is

not going to rain down from the sky. Use the right column to keep the left side of the list from depressing you and making you wait for no reason. One of the traps of the enemy is to make you think that everything God has for you requires a waiting period. He doesn’t even need to convince you the gifts are not yours, just that they are all delayed. The deceiver will whisper, “Wait another 20 years until you show yourself

approved.” Don't forget to wear your badge today.” Can you afford to wait for what is immediately yours? And I will agree with the Father to give you another close companion to be with you - in such an intimate way that my immediate presence will be fully perceived by you within the timeless zone of the ages! John14:6 Mirror Bible Waiting to unwrap the Gifts that God gave over 2000

years ago, is like leaving the presents under the tree way into next summer. Why? Jesus gave the Gift. Everything you need is in that beautiful box with a gorgeous bow, and you are halfway into the New Year and still wondering why all your waiting isn’t working. John 3:16, God created mankind, instructed man and provided for all of his needs. At creation in God’s relationship with Adam and Eve, God showed His love by being present with them, spending time with them and taking care of them. His plan was to be in fellowship with us, walking closely with us, loving and guiding us. Throughout the Bible we see wonderful acts of God’s love for His people. Even God’s instruction to Adam and Eve to refrain from eating of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil was an act of love. God knew that the knowledge of God, or knowing and walking with Him, was higher and better for them than for them to walk in the knowledge of good and evil, and to walk

away from Him, outside of His glorious presence. He knew that He had clothed Adam and Eve in His glory and made them in His image. For them to partake of that fruit would rob them of that beautiful spiritual covering and their place in Him and His glory. It was His love for them that led Him to command them to abstain from that fruit. Adam and Eve would have saved themselves, their generations and the rest of the world from great suffering and hardship if they had only trusted in God’s love for them, trusted that He knows best in all things. God showed His love, grace and mercy to Abraham, and God counted Abraham righteous because of his faith in God and His goodness! Gen 15:6 Rom 4:3 God blessed Abraham with great wealth, large flocks, and

eventually a promised son who would continue the lineage of Abraham to the nation of Israel and Jesus Christ, the Messiah. God showed great love and mercy to Abraham and his seed and even spared his nephew, Lot and family, from the judgment that came upon Sodom and Gomorrah due to their evil ways. Abraham’s great-grandson, Joseph, became the highest ruler under Pharoah in Egypt, and saved their family from

famine and destruction. Later, Moses, another of Abraham’s seed, was blessed by God to lead Israel out from the bondage of Egypt. God protected them, provided for them, instructed them in righteousness and gave them Godly leaders to help them to obtain the Promised Land. God gave them military strategy and supernatural power to overcome their enemies, even the Giants in the land. Our Holy Scriptures are the written record of God’s love for His people. For thousands of years, God’s promises to His people have been manifested. After the fall in the garden by Adam and Eve, the curse of the knowledge of good and evil and of sin came

upon the world and under that new fallen system, it changed the way God interacted with His children, but it did not stop His great love for them. There were judgments that came upon people when they did evil in the sight of God. Like when Cain slew Abel, he was cast out and separated from his family. But God did not stop loving Cain; in fact, God put a mark on him so that no one would kill him. Even though Cain was cast out from his family and from the presence of God, his life was spared by God and Cain was blessed with a wife, children and many descendants.

for you. He sent His Beloved Son for you, so that you could be restored to full relationship with God and be filled with His great love and Spirit. Jesus is interceding for you to be victorious because of His great love for you! Romans 8:34 Jesus said, “I will be with you always even until the end of the world.” Nothing can ever separate you from His love. Romans 8:35-39 Trust in God and obey His Words, He exalted His Word above His name! God will lead you to safety, to provision, to knowledge and to abundance of life. His love will never ever fail you!

In this hour upon the Earth, when darkness seems to pervade every place, remember God’s great love

God loves His people, He wants them free to serve Him and obey His commands!

by: Evangelist/Teacher Rick McKnight . February 14! This is a date that is set aside by the world to celebrate LOVE! Love today has many meanings! We love our cars, and chocolate ice cream! (Really…. chocolate anything!) Lust and sex is passed off as love in many cases. Particularly in the Hollywood movies, magazines, books, etc. We picture little cherubim’s flying around with the bows and arrows shooting young (and maybe not so young!) people as they fall in love! This kind of love as described is unfortunately sometimes “here today and gone tomorrow!” As divorce statistics reveal to us. What a shame love has been diluted down to something dirty!

But the love of God, as described in 1 Corinthians 13, is a far more serious thing! Even in the Christian realm Love does not carry the reality of all it suggests. Here is a description of God’s love! You will notice quite a difference between the worlds love and His!

1 Corinthians 13 Amplified Version 1 IF I [can] speak in the tongues of men and [even] of angels, but have not love (that reasoning, intentional, spiritual devotion such [a]as is inspired by God's love for and in us), I am only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 And if I have prophetic powers ([b]the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose), and understand all the secret truths and mysteries and possess all knowledge, and if I have [sufficient] faith so that I can remove mountains, but have not love (God's love in me) I am nothing (a useless nobody). 3 Even if I dole out all that I have [to the poor in providing] food, and if I surrender my body to be burned or [c] in order that I may glory, but have not love (God's love in me), I gain nothing. 4 Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily. 5 It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God's love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong]. 6 It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail. 7 Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening].

8 Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end]. There are a lot of things mentioned in these verses of scripture! So many in fact it would probably take a year to go through them all. I will endeavor to go through some high lights of them, but the real meaning of them can only come to us through meditating on them, or as Jeremiah says in His book in: In 1 Corinthians Chapter 13 we find some of the richest, most profound teaching in the Word of God! Actually, it is a measuring stick of true Christianity! To live in this LOVE is, to me, the highest type of Christian life! God is Love! We are children of God! We are to be imitators of our Father! His love has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost! His love for us is unconditional! I would advise new Christians (and older ones) to read and meditate on these passages in 1 Corinthians 13 at least once a day for 30 days and to begin to grasp their significance in our lives. If you will do that, you will notice a calmness, and peace begin to come over you! Your relationships will begin to take on a whole new meaning! Life will be a sweet thing instead of a continual struggle! Prayer will come easy! The atmosphere around your home will drastically change for the better! Joy and love will permeate the air around you! You will seem like another person to those around you!

Don’t Wait… To Show Love to Your Neighbor We

gratification. Most of us enjoy pulling up to a speaker box with a menu beside it and like magic getting food and a drink in minutes. The internet has allowed a new world of information instantly. We can press a button on our smart phones and ask Siri “a computer program anything and you will end up with some kind of answer or a link to a website. In this fast-paced world, full of all these conveniences there is one thing that the human heart has always seemed to be slow to do, at least for the most part, that is to love a stranger or neighbor. I am not talking about caring for someone as an act of kindness nor am I even mentioning the empathetic glance we give others in their time of need. I am talking about a Biblical Christian emotional investment of true unconditional love toward our fellowman. 1st Corinthians 13:4-8 states:

“4. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices in truth.

7. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.” It is a beautiful message woven all throughout the Holy Bible. This theme of Love is the expression of love as it should be, not the artificial representation of love mankind has reduced it too. 1st John 4:9 states:

9. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. Jesus underlined with this declaration recorded in Matthew 22:37-40 when He answered the lawyer’s question as to which was the greatest commandment?

Shalt.. love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these 2 commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” “Thou

There is one undeniable fact in the scriptures as to how God feels about mankind and all of us can quote the verse that is used in any evangelical outreach in John 3:16 that starts with, “God so loved the world.” As a follower of Jesus Christ, it is our call to love even our enemies and those that despitefully use us. It is hard to do only if your heart is still attached to this world and your flesh is still ruler over your actions. Once we accept the person of Christ then and only then can our mission of love begin to operate at a supernatural level. We can mirror the very love of God toward all others including those neighbors that may sometimes make it difficult to love them because; it is Christ in us loving them through us. It isn’t the type love where we need anything in return but an unconditional love. Unconditional, without any conditions is the most amazing and fulfilling love. It reaches out to others who may be totally hostile to our faith and loves them regardless. It is the type of love that Christ had on the cross of crucifixion when He asked God to forgive those who had nailed Him there saying, “They know not what they do.” This Jesus type of love doesn’t have a timer on it that awaits the receiver to act kind or friendly toward us first. This is a spontaneous, almost as if your heart were the ‘Old

Faithful’ geyser in Yellowstone National Park and it bursts with love dependably and is a beautiful thing to behold. It isn’t a selfish love but the type of love that looks for ways to serve others. TODAY is the best day to get started! You may not know exactly how to love some people. However, in your effort of trying to love them with your prayers, your acts of service and in any form that honors God, you can learn this Biblical charge. WE Christian have our orders from Heaven. If it is important enough that Jesus declared it to be one of the greatest commandments of all from God, then you can imagine it is a very high priority to our Lord. In closing allow me to say to each of you who might read this article, I Love You. I may never meet you this side of eternity but I truly do. It is because of that love that I took time to write these words for you to read. If I can ask you to do one thing, please do not wait until a declared Holiday to tell others that you love them. In Jesus Christ, every day is the best day, to tell them or show others by your actions that” You love them.”

by: Mikea Fulton It's so easy to get caught up in the world's view of love. Most people get the big idea that they should have a boyfriend or girlfriend because everyone else does. But I can tell you right now, there is more to life than that. Especially if you're young. On average days when you pay for your groceries at the super market, have you ever glanced at the magazines? I know I have. What did you notice? Flawless bodies? Well, yeah, that too. But that's photoshopped, you know deep down it's not real. But pretty much every other time I look at the covers someone has a new partner, or just got divorced because of having a secret relationship. Either someone is having a 3-million-dollar divorce, or a 3-million-dollar wedding. Which I'm sure is fake. I try to take the time to learn from those mistakes these people made. I think about how many relationships the celebrities may have had. Imagine, when they meet the person God created for them they may already had their first kiss, held hands with someone else, or maybe said things that may have been too serious. I am pretty sure they regret for not saving themselves for their husband or wife. And what if their child did the same things they did? I know I would be

very disappointed in myself for being a bad example for my children. All I'm saying is, guard your heart with God's truth. Don't get caught up in the world's nonsense and lies. The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). I'm sure we have a pretty good idea that the thief is satan. Don't let him steal your purity, don't let him kill your worth, but most of all, do not let him destroy your faith.

Hey guys. So it's February! I know what you're thinking. â&#x20AC;&#x153;Yeah February! The month where all the couples come out. Great.â&#x20AC;? For this month, I decided we are most definitely not going to be chatting about that mushy stuff! We are going to be aware. Did you know that a February is the national cancer prevention month? I recently found that out. What are some things you can do to make people aware? You can tell them about it. You can make a post on social media. There is so much you can do to spread the word about cancer prevention month.

Another thing you can do is pray. Pray for those that have lost loved ones due to cancer. Pray for those that have cancer. You know the Bible says in 1 Peter 2:24, “He took on our sins in His body when He

died on the cross[a] so that we, being dead to sin, can live for righteousness. As the Scripture says, “Through His wounds, you were healed” (The Voice). And in Isaiah 53:5, it also says, “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed” (NKJV). We have the right to claim our healing. In this world today, most people have become so self-centered they never think about those going through something like cancer. They care about how many followers they have on Instagram or how many retweets they have on twitter. This month, help make people aware. Pray for those with cancer, the families that have had someone die from cancer, and those that have lost friends from cancer. This month we will be aware. - Anna Caroline -

by: Grace Meier 1. If you see an old woman crossing the street and she drops her groceries, you could pick up her groceries and help her cross the street and carry her groceries for her. 2. If you see a couple of homeless people, then you could get some warm clothes or blankets or donate money or do something to help them. Maybe take them shopping or buy them something good to eat. 3. If your parents are stressed out and you have a younger sibling, then you could offer to babysit while they go out to dinner or a movie. 4. Compliment random people. 5. Leave quarters at the laundromat. 6. Bake someone a cake. 7. If someone is moving in next door, then help them move in or just be a good and welcoming neighbor. 8. Give away your parking spot and give it to someone else. 9. Donate some books you don't use anymore and give them to a little kid or give them to your local library.

10. Volunteer at the senior care or nursing home. Scriptures Luke 6:31- And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them.  Galations 5:14- “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” For more “loving others” scriptures just click the link below 

Matt Deves kicked off the Summit with a word God put in his heart several months before the summit. Such a powerful word on FREEDOM. Freedom is not just available but it's necessary for Christians to have the kind of intimate relationship with God that He desires. Furthermore, we need to get the message of FREEDOM out to this generation. That's what the Winter Summit was all about and what the Fourteen12 radio network is all about. Getting the message of FREEDOM in Christ out to this generation!

Tuesday Night Mike Bateman got real with everyone and shared his testimony. Matt shared about the dangers of being around the things of God and even moving in gifting and not having a personal relationship with Jesus. His willingness and courage to share his journey along these lines, I'm sure, inspired and challenged everyone. The Spirit of God made a powerful invitation for people to step away from "the fence" and just receive the amazing Love of the Father! There was such a sweet anointing in the room and comments came in from those listening that lives were being touched in very personal ways.

Dr. Glen Hartline and Tom Tompkins Jr conducted Day after day

workshops in the afternoons. Dr. Glen conducted identity School which helped us get rooted and grounded in our identity in Christ. Focusing on the Love of God and intimacy with the Holy Spirit helped everyone move forward in their walk of faith. Tom Tompkins Jr brought fresh insight in to Christian business leadership that really helped us think out of the box. Empowering the Body of Christ to really step into their grace and their place.

One of the morning sessions was an invigorating open forum live on the Fourteen12 radio network with questions and answers. Many ministers weighed in on the questions that came in from the radio listeners. Many good and "tough" questions were sent in by the listeners. It was rich and refreshing to hear all the different insights from ministers whose giftings and callings differ. The beauty of the Body of Christ could really be seen. The only problem was we didn't have 6 more hours to get to all the questions

Rev. Helen Lowery brought a very prophetic word for 2017!

She gave us 7 keys that bring freedom. Those Keys are waiting for you on YouTube right now! If you go to YouTube and type in Fourteen12 Winter Summit all of the meetings will pull up. You can get the 7 Keys and you can view the entire Summit receiving all the rich ministry that happened that week. Rev. Helen took time both during the service and at the end to minister personally to people in the room and online. Word of Knowledge, Prophecy and Healing came to many who were ministered to.

Mark and Kimberly Spellman put our focus on the power and glory of the Love of God. That if we have "a single eye" with the love of God all things will then become clear to us! There was a lot of personal ministry with the Spellman's both individually and together. The gifts of the Spirit of Tongues and the Interpretation of Tongues was brought out in the Spellman's ministry not only Thursday night but throughout the week.

Pastors David and Harriet Craig brought a powerful word from the heart of an Apostle. He brought a powerful revelation about being restored to a place of innocence and the power of repentance and turning back to God. The Word of the Lord brought both encouragement and correction to area's that the enemy has been stealing killing and destroying. A word that was good for all to hear but I know brought a word in season to ministers. Pastors David and Harriet again took time during and at the end of the service to minster to those in the room and those watching and listening online

Ministers Kirk and Angela DeMars brought an inspiring message about "Come and See!" Come and See what the Lord has done. Our lives should be a living testimony that causes the Goodness of God to bring people to faith in Christ. We need to take our lives as Ambassadors for Christ very seriously! He shared about the power of the Love of God and how it impacted the life of a former witch. A Testimony that can be read about in the new book just released, Seven Days With A Witch, written by Don Allen.

There is really no way to cover and highlight everything worth mentioning here in this article. Hopefully I've stirred your heart to go to YouTube and type in Fourteen12 Winter Summit and watch the services. Take time to see what God has for you if you were not able to experience the 2017 Winter Summit live. You will see the beauty of the Body of Christ and some amazing teamwork among ministers to see God's will done. If you have never gone to one or at least viewed one on the webinar I highly recommend it. I have been blessed to be able to attend the majority of the meetings from the beginning. Don Allen and Matt Deves are the founders of this glorious event and they certainly know the right people to bring healing into your life. Every time I attend, there are things I learn that impact my life in wonderful ways. Of course, this year was no different and I am still coming to understand things that have kept me from becoming who God has wanted me to be. But He continues to work in my life daily and the knowledge of that is simply overwhelming at times. I know I am growing in Him and hope to do His work for many years to come. I urge you to go to YouTube and type in fourteen12 winter summit. They are all there and they will give you freedom from whatever it may be that is hindering you from total healing and you will come to know Jesus in ways that only you can know and experience. Please do go and see what they have to offer. I can promise you will never regret it.

Faye Hanshew To put into words what I felt about the winter summit in Laurie, Mo. is both easy and hard. To express my true heart in words will be difficult. The expressions of love from all the speakers was almost unreal. They gave so unselfishly. They heard God and obeyed. They allowed time to minister as the Lord wanted. The words brought forth were life changing. They taught the Truth and the Truth will set you free. I admire these men and women of God. The worship teams were awesome. They drew us into the very Presence of our Lord. It was easy to feel Him and hear from Him. It was so easy to love Him. The love you felt in the room was precious. In His Presence, you are changed and touched. Nothing compares to His Presence. He is our Daddy and His love never ceases. I am so thankful that the Lord allowed me to get to know Two Guys and a Bible ministry and all those involved in the winter summit. It is a unique ministry. You are disciples and encouraged to be ministers for the Lord. I use the word encourage loosely, because sometimes they have to push you to get you to do what they know the Lord wants you to do. By Evangelist Ernest Nelson K. Nanor “Of sin, because they believe not on me;” (John 16:9) Faith is a universal principle in the world. Everyone in the world believes in at least something. It is hypocrisy that makes people think that they do not believe in anything, especially when something is evident before their eyes. That is wickedness indeed. Every man on this planet earth, eats food and believes that when he eats, the food will help sustain him as long as he lives, and without it he cannot exist. Even animals know they need food to survive if they are going to live. Every man believes that without the air to breath in, no man could continue to exist and because of that, many even give the credit to nature. Every man from his childhood knows he needs to drink water to survive from his thirst. And every man knows that the human body needs certain things to survive. No one needs to tell you what your body needs for its own survival. It is hypocrisy, hatred, jealousy, bitterness and envy that makes some people think they do not believe in anything; especially when the exact thing is evidential before them.

In the sixteenth chapter of the book of Matthew, Jesus rebuked the Pharisees on this same topic. “2 When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. 3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather today: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?” Around June 2015, I was at home and the phone rang. I answered it as I said, “Hello, Who am I speaking with please?” The voice on the other end said, “Brother Ernest, it is me, Mr. Quequ.” I replied, “What is it please?” Mr. Queqe said, “It is your Elder sister and she has been sick for three days now. She has not eaten nor drank any water, and she is dying. I have been trying to take her to the hospital but she insists that it is not a sickness for the hospital to deal with. She asked me to call you in and I have been trying to reach you, but the phone has not been going through.” I said to Mr. Queqe,

“Really? Where are you at this moment?” So, I quickly got to that place within the next 15 minutes, along with a colleague minister. Shingles, in fact was what my sister was really suffering with. Considering the pain and the kind of agony she was passing through, I was so very angry at the devil. So, I said, “let us pray Brother Derrick.” Then we worshipped God and prayed and said, “In the name of Jesus Christ, I rebuke you. Come out in Jesus name, I shouted with a loud voice; “Out, Out, Out!” Then suddenly that spirit of infirmity began to manifest and said, “I will Kill her, and I will do my very best to kill her. I told that spirit, “Shut up, I cast you out into the outer darkness, in the pits of hell that is where you belong.” “That is the spirit of death speaking,” Brother Derrick whispered into my ears. “You spirit of death, I subdue you with the resurrection power of Jesus Christ, come out in Jesus name!” Then quess what? That spirit departed from her, and within a twinkling of an eye, my sister was miraculously healed as though nothing had happened to her. Also, her husband who was not a believer, was so grateful to God. We praised the Lord and gave thanks to Him as we came back home. Just a month after “Fire Evangelism” was launched in the year 2016, I received a message that one of my team members had fallen sick and was that way for seven days. What was it? Something had swollen up inside of her mouth and as a result, she could not even eat nor drink water for those seven days. The agonizing part of the story was that she was a lactating mother, feeding her young child with breast milk. As long as the child was feeding, she would lose much energy and become weak because of the pain she was passing through. I was so moved with great compassion when I heard of this that I stopped our quest to go out

there to Evangelize to the lost. I prayed, “Lord, if You will not heal her, then do not send me to go and preach your word anymore.” Within a short time, she had fully recovered from that sickness and was miraculously healed when we prayed for her in the space of an hour. On that same evening, she was able to eat effectively. When the Pharisees went to Jesus most of the time, they went to Him with the intention of tempting Him. That was the main reason He would called them hypocrites. It is similar in the church today when people come to God, but not with a genuine pursuit of seeking God in their heart, but rather often coming as a spectator as if God is some sort of entertainer. People often come to God, even in a house of worship with various agendas. It is the kind of heart you come to Him with which determine the result of your need. He is a God that loves the sinner and the saint. Also, He inspires every follower of His to flee from all those things, especially the weight of unbelief, bitterness, anger, envy, jealousy and religious hypocrisy. You simply need to believe that Jesus is the Christ and that He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is the Lord who has not changed. Today, I invite you to receive His abundance of Grace and gift of righteousness through faith in His name. And that alone will overcome the evil desires of the world in you; just as He worked in Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, Judges, Sampson, Gideon, Samuel, Saul, David, Peter, James, John, Paul, as he is doing in Dr. Bill Hanshew, Faye Hanshew, and with me. He can do the same thing with you also. Just trust Him to take you beyond sin and death, because He is the person of Life.

Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. Hallelujah!

by: Pastor Kumar Raju Komannapalli Jesus said in Mark 5:36, “Do not be afraid; only keep on believing [in Me and my power].” (Amplified Bible) Today many things are taking places in our lives each day. Sometimes we go through happiness, victories, defeats and dangers in all the four seasons of the year. It does not matter whether we are poor or rich in this world, even though we are all human beings. Yet, here is an interesting real life story out of the pages of history which happened in a rich man’s family. He was an official of the synagogue and had only one daughter. He has a reputation, a beautiful wife, and a big family. But, his only daughter was dying. He could have taken her to any hospital, or even call any doctor to come and try and heal her. But he knew that no doctor could help her. And he became very much troubled with this situation in his house and began to worry a lot. But one day he heard some Good News. And that the Good News was that Jesus was ministering and preaching while visiting his town. This man immediately ran to Jesus and bowed down before Him. In a humble and polite manner, he then asked Jesus to come to his house and laying of His hands on his

daughter so that she could be healed and live. Hallelujah! This man’s name was Jairus and he knew that Jesus had the power to give life to anyone. Jairus’ family was not following Jesus, but he had faith and came to Jesus. While he was in believing that Jesus would come, some people came from his house and said that his daughter is dead. The real meaning is that this was an attempt to Jairus from having faith in Jesus. But, Jesus said to Jairus, “Do not be afraid;

only believe. In other words, keep on believing in Me and my power. Hallelujah! Eventually, Jesus went to Jairus’ house, and He raised his daughter from the dead. Glory to

God! Jairus did not lose his faith in Jesus, and he obeyed, and listened to the words of Jesus. People speak different things in this world, and they often do not support what we believe in faith. They do not encourage us. Sometimes people can cause us to worry and become heavy hearted. That is why we should not listen to what other people say, because many do not practice a life of faith. Today, is it very important that we keep our faith? In whom are we trusting? One day a Canaanite woman came to Jesus, pleading with Him for a great deliverance for her only daughter. She said, “My daughter is severely demon-possessed” (Mathew 15:2128). Jesus did not say much right away. But, she continuously trusted in Jesus, and asked at least a single word for the deliverance of her daughter so that she would receive a great divine healing and deliverance. He gave His Word and delivered her daughter. Jesus marveled and was surprised at her faith in continuously trusting Him, even though He did

not respond to her immediately. Jesus said to her, “O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.” Trusting and believing Jesus is very important in our daily lives. Luke 18:35-43 tells us about a blind man who was named, Bartimaeus. The more he was told to be quiet, the more he shouted with a loud voice. Jesus asked him, “What do you want Me to do for you?” And Bartimaeus said, “Lord, that I may receive my sight.” Many people did not understand this blind man’s faith, but his faith in Jesus did not fail. Jesus said to a man in Mark 9:23, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Jesus made everything possible to anyone and for anything all over this world, if they will believe in Him. Today I conclude this teaching with a question, “Do you believe in Jesus?” We are called to believe: 1. Him 2. His Words 3. His Promises 4. His Covenant 5. His Prophecies 6. His Dreams & Visions 7. His Calling Believe Jesus and be blessed!

This question may, at first glance seem a very odd one to ask; whilst at the same time, surely it has an obvious answer? We must believe in who Jesus is to become a Christian, so clearly, Christians must really believe! In characteristic support of this view, modern-day Christian church evangelism and Gospel teaching and preaching talk about God’s love and grace, both of which are clearly expressed through the cross of Calvary. It teaches us that believing in

Jesus, and saying a short prayer to accept Him is all we need to do to get salvation, so there we are, job done, a nice short article with the question answered. Ah, but wait a moment, on digging deeper into this question the New Testament writer James throws a spanner in the works because he says,

‘you believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe— and shudder’ (James 2: 19). Gosh. What a shock, the demons believe! In other words, they know the realism of God, Jesus and

the Holy Spirit, and they not only believe but they do something in their believing that very few of us ever get close to doing, they shudder! This discovery now throws a different light on the question, ‘do Christians really believe’ because; by definition, most people would understand that demons are diametrically opposed to God. So, this means that they believe but they are totally unchanged by that belief, even in the face of fear. Interestingly, if we now consider those in the church who have come through modern-day evangelism and Gospel teaching and preaching to believe, and have said a prayer of acceptance, we find, that in most cases their lives, for six days of the week are also unchanged, and more specifically, they do not actually live as Scripture requires. The point is that what we really believe is what we say, do and live. So clearly, whatever it is that we say we believe, if it has not

totally changed us so that, like Paul we can honestly say, ‘I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me’ (Galatians 2: 20), it is clear that the belief we have is not total, and has made little or no significant impact.

that many of the basic requirements of becoming a Christian follower and living the daily Christian life are missing.

Surely, if we really believe in God and Jesus it would lead to a vibrant difference in our life, and instead of adopting an overfamiliarity attitude, we would be humbly respectful? Consider this, if Jesus said I am coming tomorrow to spend a day with you, would any one of us live, speak and do the same things that we have up and until today? Would we be able to show the spirit of Jesus working in and through our lives? Would we continue with our over-familiarity attitudes?

Following Peter’s Pentecostal sermon recorded in Acts 2: 14 – 42 the people heard about who Jesus really is, the crucified Son of God. They not only heard the message and believed, but the Bible tells us that they were, ‘cut to the heart’, meaning they were emotionally and spiritually convicted to the point where, in an attitude of desperation to do the right thing they asked, ‘what shall we do?’ (Acts 2: 37). The belief of these sermon hearers was so profound that it convicted and penetrated their soul.

In truth, when we compare what the Bible says against modern-day Gospel teaching we find

There is clearly a difference between believing in God and Jesus, and a belief that is awe-struck, life changing and actually living the dayby-day divinely dynamic promises of Scripture. So, what must we do?

What we are discovering here is that really believing in God and Jesus

produces a reaction. For the demons, it is fear and dread, and for a potential Christian follower it is a life changing spiritual awe and deep conviction. But more than this, what we read next is very different from the modern-day evangelism and Gospel teaching and preaching. Peter answers the question, ‘what shall we do’ by saying, ‘Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit’ (Acts 2: 28). Those that heard Peter’s response knew exactly what it meant. They knew that repentance is not simply about turning from a sin, or a few sins. It is not about purchasing a ‘get out of hell ticket’ by saying a few words to accept Jesus, and then live unchanged lives. They knew the implications of the Hebrew word for repent. The word repent in Hebrew is teshuvah, and it means to turn back to God. It means to dedicate one’s life to Him, and serve Him.

That level of dedication and belief in God is what being baptized is about. Why do you think John the Baptist said to the Pharisees and Sadducees who came to him for baptism, ‘You brood of vipers’ (Matthew 3: 7.) These religious leaders clearly believed in God, but they came with no commitment to change and follow God’s way of life. They were not willing to lay down their life for God. That is why John went on to say, ‘Bear fruit that befits repentance’ (Matthew 3: 8). One of the hallmarks of really believing is that we bear the fruit that befits repentance. We have sadly and deceptively been taught, and live what I call a lazy Christian life; one that has diluted the Gospel message, and skews biblical teaching to concentrate on the palatable, soft edges of Scripture, whilst ignoring the death to self, the struggle to hold God’s word fast, to believe, really believe in the face of seeming impossibilities, the trials, frustration,

testing and tribulations of service and warfare; and the hard work and effort that we must put in to break through to victory and live heaven on earth. The outcome is that we have accepted second best, and when desperate needs arise, we have lost the zeal, passion, determination and belief to break through heaven’s gates, and zealously take our belief in God to the point of moving mountains (see Mark 11: 22 – 24). Living the Christian life is not a stroll in the park. No one on the journey of life who succeeds, achieves that success without pain, hard work and sacrifice. A top-class athlete, a concert musician, a successful businessperson and all others that are highly proficient reached the mountaintop of success because they believed and refused to give up. They were willing to pay the price; they dedicated themselves and gave up worldly pleasures in the pursuit of their goal. It is absolutely no different for us as Christian

believers. There is no moving on with God without sacrifice, dedication, trust, pain and picking ourselves up when we stumble; trusting and believing in God even when everything seems dark and impossible, and we are hurting or even abandoned by others (see Proverbs 24: 6, 2 Corinthians 4: 9, Job 5: 19, Job 13: 15). We must come to a point of repentant, holy and yielded service where we can positively answer the question, ‘do we submit to

God, whatever the cost?’ This is a question that requires an affirmative belief response even though it does not explain the cost. Perhaps the greatest and fitting test for the question, ‘do Christians really believe’ comes through the words of Jesus Himself when He said: ‘Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father’ (John

14: 12). Jesus knew that He could depend on His Father. When we really believe, and know Jesus, we will know that we can depend upon Him and do the works that He did.
