Hello Readers, November is a busy month. Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving, only a few more days until Christmas! People are busy with family, and sometimes not even thinking about anything except what “THEY” must get done!

This month, I want to ask you to please take the time to look toward the back of the magazine at our “CHILDREN OF THE WORLD ORPHANAGE SECTION.” In this section, I have shared some International Orphanages that could really use your help for Christmas.

The First orphanage I shared is Tree of Life Orphanage.

This orphanage has 27 children. They have just applied for their registration paperwork with their country because they were fortunate enough to receive he money to pay for the registration from one of Faith Unlimited writers! I was fortunate enough to have the honor of renaming the orphanage to “Tree of Life Orphanage” and I am one of the Advising Directors. The Head Director, Balikowa Musa, loves God very much. I have divided the children out so that you can see the ones who are in the same family (brothers and sisters). This orphanage had 21 children, then, the last family that came to them was 5 children who lost their mother to cancer. Their grandparents were not able to keep them, so Balikowa said they could come to the orphanage. After these 5, one little 3-year-old girl came to the orphanage making the total 27.

The next ad I have listed is Dr. Andrezil Nickenson from Haiti. He has a church and a medical center. He helps the children in his area. They are wanting to build a Medical center on the church property.

Kenya Care, run by Dennis Torori, is an organization to help all the people, adults and children, in the villages who need medical treatment, food, clothing, and anything else they need. There is a list of over 90 people in Kenya Care.

Elimonya Orphanage has 70 students and 50 children.

One of our pastors here in Missouri went to Africa and was privileged to tour Elimonya Orphanages. Elijah Ombiro, the Director, loves God, and loves the children very much.

If possible, look at these pages, ask God what He would have you do to help 1 or more children this year.

Isaiah 46:4 says, “Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you.”

As a person grows older in age, whose image have you been taught to see in yourself? Your image, or the image God sees when He looks at you? As Isaiah writes what God is saying, it is recorded this way: “Even to your old age, I am He.” God made you in His Image and His likeness, which includes every man, woman, boy, and girl in this world.

When you were born into this life, you begin to age immediately. And as you age, your looks begin to change in every way. As you look into the mirror, you can clearly see your image constantly changes.

Even your family and friends will also see some changes that have come to you.

However, as you began to grow and change, you may have been taught about being made or formed in the Image and Likeness of God. When we face issues such as insecurity or a low self-esteem, and these emotional issues are often

because of how we see ourselves. But what if we started seeing ourselves the same way that God sees us?

Genesis 1:26-27 says, “26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created

them.” Being made in the Image and Likeness of God means to be made in His mirrored reflection. I always say that when God made you, He simply took His phone and took a selfie. And to me, that means that I am that selfie.

1 Corinthians 2:11 (ESV) says, “For who knows a person’s thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.” God is telling us that even though you know your own thoughts, God knows what you are thinking better than you do. Jeremiah 1:45 says, “4 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying: 5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” This shows us that even before you were ever born, God placed what He thought of you on the inside, even down to what He called you to do in life.

We can see in Psalm 139:15-17 (NCV) that it says, “15 You saw my bones being formed as I took shape in my mother’s body. When I was put together there, 16 you saw my body as it was formed. All the days planned for me were written in your book before I was one day old. 17 God, your thoughts are precious to me. They are so many!” Wow, even down to the formulation of your bones, your size, and shape, which shows us that God already formed an opinion of you from His own perspective.

Ephesians 1:4 says, “just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,” and this clearly shows us that God has already decided that you are made holy, and without blame in His sight, because of His great love for you. I

like what Psalm 139:14 says about you, which is what David saw when he said, “I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.” Have you ever admired the wonderful work God did when He made you? Well, leave out any pride or arrogance, but it is okay to look at the handiwork of God in you.

Colossians 3:12 (ESV) says, “Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience,” and again, this is how God sees you. So, you might not see yourself as one who is chosen by God, but God’s opinion is not based on how you see yourself. However, don’t you think that the creator of the entire Universe and of the heavens and the earth should be considered when you are forming an opinion about you? Therefore, the next time you look into a mirror and all you see is someone who is aging and changing, I would suggest that you make an adjustment in your mind or thoughts and start thinking about yourself differently than you once did.

So, start today by seeing yourself through God’s thoughts about the true image He sees in you. And from the scriptures included in this article, you could begin to see that God has made you, and even took a selfie when He did. He knows what you are thinking at all times and God knew all of that even before you were formed in your mother’s womb. It was before the foundations of the world were made that God made you with a calling and a purpose in this life.

God created you as holy and without blame, even though there might be times when you might blame yourself for your

shortcomings. God even says that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. That is what God thinks about you. So, WHOSE IMAGE DO YOU SEE when you look at

yourself? Do you see that handiwork of God? It is time to see yourselves, the way that God sees you. …Think about it!

I've got two beautiful kids that God gifted to me. I'm married to Melissa and enjoy her three kids as well. I'm fortunate to still have my mom and dad. We own Wright Quote Insurance. We heard from some real heavy weights.

Zig Ziglar might be the premier motivational leader of our time. He’d had a stroke but gave his message with the assistance of his daughter. She’d ask questions and he responded with his great wisdom. Ziglar said he read both the newspaper and the Bible each day. Zig said the 2 pieces of reading material kept him up on what both sides were doing.

We listened to Rev. Robert Schuler and Gen. Colin Powell.

Both men were distinguished and very well spoken. Rev. Schuller was much more interesting than I thought he’d be. Gen. Powell talked about his transition from Chairman of the Joint Chiefs to private citizen. We were truly blessed to hear such successful men speak.

I’ve never been a 49ers fan, but Joe Montana was also on the list. He was very interesting to listen to. He talked of his teammate Jerry Rice and what a perfectionist he was. Montana also went on to say that coach Walsh was his best coach.

Montana said coach Walsh spent loads of time studying game stats. Walsh found an amazing stat. He found when a receiver is hit while running a straight fly route between 43.5 and 45 yards the completion ratio was 93%. Read the previous sentence a few times to grasp it. The 49ers practiced the fly route and timing. The 49ers completed the pattern 93% of the time and ran it more often than most teams. That kind of thinking and action was what built the dynasty for San Francisco in the 80’s.

At church on Sunday my friend Rocky told us that as Christians we needed to take action.

Meeting at church on Sundays and Wednesdays was like a football team huddling up, making plans, getting excited and breaking the huddle. Many times, we leave our enthusiasm at church. I’m typically inspired by church. Many times, I don’t act upon the charge I receive on Sundays. When we worship and don’t act, we’re like a team breaking the huddle and not running the play.

We are all called to minister. Jesus asked and directed Peter in John 21:16 Again Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Take care of my sheep.” Your ministry might be preaching, bus driving or being an encouragement to your fellow man. No matter what the work, you’ll be tending His sheep. He’s calling so go on and run the play. If you need help call a prayer warrior today. Go in peace.

by: Dave Kachele Everyone reading this could give instruction about how important it is to affirm a child and how to do it. Perhaps you remember being affirmed as a child. A parent, teacher, pastor, someone spoke into your life and you were lifted!

Let me tell you a story from the 4th grade: Mrs. Fent, during handwriting instruction: “Now, don’t lift your hand from your paper because I can tell where you stopped writing and started again.”

My hand shot into the air! “Mrs. Fent, Mrs. Fent, I’ll bet you can’t tell where I stop and start again!” My penmanship was unreadable! Mrs. Fent had every opportunity to dress me down! She could have held my paper up for the rest of the class, an example of what NOT to do! Instead, she smiled at me and said, “Well, David, you’re just a whiz!”

I could have failed 4th grade because I was also a terrible reader. But as “luck” would have it, Mrs. Fent was my teacher the next year in the 5th grade.

Many years later, while training at the university to be an elementary school teacher, I was required to write twenty-five words on a white board in manuscript and in cursive in three minutes. And it had to look like the charts on the wall! Thank you for affirming me Mrs. Fent!

Not long afterwards, I had a position in a Christian school teaching a 5th and 6th grade combination class. Who did I go find to share this news? That’s right, Mrs. Fent. “Well, I’m not surprised David.

I knew when you were my student that you had the potential to do something wonderful!” Even as an adult, I left my 4th grade teacher with a spring in my step!

How do you affirm a child?

The same way you affirm anyone-the same way Jesus did, you lift them!

“An argument started among the disciples as to which of them would be the greatest. Jesus, knowing their thoughts, took a little child and had him stand beside Him. Then he said to them, ‘Whoever welcomes this little child in My name welcomes Me; and whoever welcomes Me welcomes the One who sent Me. For it is the one who is least among you all who is the greatest.’”

And with this teaching, Jesus lifted the disciples too. He affirmed them and lifted them to the highest level – the level of servants! (Luke 9:46-48, NIV) “Get away you little brats!” (Matt. 19:14, David’s paraphrase) "Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." (Matthew 19:14, NIV) Jesus lifted children. He affirmed women, demon possessed people, sinners, the unclean, and finally, you and me. How? He caused us to look into His wonderful face! You want to be a lifter, an affirmer? Help children and adults too to do what the old song says: “Turn your eyes upon Jesus, Look full in His wonderful face, And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, In the light of His glory and grace.”

For Thou o Lord art a Shield for me, My Glory and the Lifter of my head!”

It comes from Psalm 3:3 “But you, LORD, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.”

We are Christ’s ambassadors, called and gifted to be lifters and affirmers!

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

In December of 1998 I had a supernatural encounter with God where I heard His audible voice, telling me this was my last chance and asking would I serve Him. The voice of God knocked me to the floor and I responded to Him more out of fear than anything else.

Before that encounter I would have told you I knew God, and I did, I knew Him as God. He was my God and I was His creation, a creation He loved enough to die for, but still just a creation. It wasn’t until after that first encounter that I began knowing Him not only as my God but as my Father.

As Holy Spirit gradually began showing me who God was and introducing me to my sonship, my eyes were progressively opened to the reality of who He created me to be. In the beginning the revelation brought excitement as I peered into the potential of a son of God, but eventually as time passed the excitement gave way to frustration as I looked in the mirror and gazed at the stark contrast between who Holy Spirit told me I was and the perception I had of myself. I knew my weaknesses and how far I

was from resembling the image Holy Spirit was revealing. To me there was very little if any resemblance at all.

“How do I become the person God says I am?”

I wondered daily. I was spending 8 to 12 hours a day in prayer and having deep intimate encounters with God daily. My understanding of God’s nature and His will was changing at a

rocketing pace.

My understanding was increasing however every time it appeared I was making progress in my walk as a son of God, another weakness would rear its ugly head and demolish any belief I had that I was actually becoming the son of God I was created to be.

In John 16:14 it says that Holy Spirit takes what is of Jesus and declares it to us. That’s exactly what He was doing. Daily, even hourly, He would show me Jesus and declare that is who children of God are created to be like. I knew what I was to be like, I just didn’t know how I could make it happen. If God gave me the power to become a son then how do I make it happen. The frustration continued for months. It wasn’t until I began looking deeper into the meaning of John 1:12 and John 16:14 that I would begin understanding how we become sons of God. In John 1:12 it says we have been given the power to become sons of God. As I looked deeper into the meaning of that verse the lite of my understanding was gradually illuminated.

First let’s look at the word believes in the Greek. The word translated believes is the word lambano which means, to take in hand, to grasp, or to comprehend. The next word I looked up was the word translated as become.

That is the word ginomai, which means to generate or to come into being. As we look deeper we see that Genomai was written in the aorist infinitive tense which means that it was a prior action that has been completed. So, what we see is that to everyone who comprehends their inclusion in Jesus are empowered by seeing that they truly are sons of God.

Do you see that? God isn’t given us power to become sons of God through our own efforts.

He did, through the sacrifice of Jesus, remove the veil of separation that clouded our minds and by doing so enabled us to see the truth that we are sons of God! We don’t have to try and be anything! We just look at Jesus and see ourselves in Him. As we continually see Him then we gradually become the object of our gaze. We put on the Lord Jesus or we reveal the Christ in us! We don’t become anything, the true you created by God is just revealed as the veil over our mind is removed!

That is why in John 16:14 it actually says that Holy Spirit takes what is of Jesus and reveals its completion in you. He actually shows you that the work has already been completed and because the fullness of the Godhead was in Jesus you are already complete in Him. The word used by John when he said that Holy Spirit will declare it to us is the word annaggello, which means to declare a thought showing it has gone through its necessary stages.

You have been made a mature, a complete son of God lacking nothing. You don’t need to struggle in frustration trying to become a mature son of God. Only fall back into the arms of your loving Father who has already made you complete and allow Him to reveal His fullness in you!

See yourself complete and eventually your feelings and action will align with what you know to be true about yourself. In every situation that you face, know that the fullness of the One who has all power in within you, waiting to ensure your victory!

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come. (Luke 4:18 & 19, NLT) A couple of weeks ago I had a dream. I dreamed I was having surgery. I could see myself on an operating table, surrounded by medical staff. I was partially coherent but instinctively knew to take a (rather large) white hose that was connected to my body near my liver area and place the opposite end (the end that wasn't connected to my body) to a drain in the floor. I had difficulty moving because I was sick, weak, and groggy from the illness that required surgery. I was a little shaky, but I connected the hose to a coupler that led to the drain in the floor. As soon as I was able to make the connection by twisting the hose to the coupler, I heard

a click, and I was relieved.

Then I experienced a little bit of pain and was a little nauseous, and I felt something leave my body. It was a large mass. I wondered what the mass looked like so I looked at the (clear) drainage hose and I saw something that looked like a plastic shower scruffy (the type typically used with shower gel). The

“scruffy” was covered with old hair and funky old brown stuff. I felt nauseous and in pain again but not as intense as the first time and another mass left my body and went down the drain, followed by several small pieces. I was very relieved and immediately felt better and knew I was well. In my dream, I went to sleep immediately.

In the physical, I slept better than I had in months. When I woke up and remembered the dream I asked the Holy Spirit what the shower scruffy was and He (the Holy Spirit) said, "Plastic." I asked, "plastic?" He responded, "plastic…fake, rough and scratchy.”

This led to several hours of prayer, meditation, praise, and reading His Word. Many illuminations came out of that time with Him. Once of which being, what if we stopped looking at “plastic, rough and scratchy” people as plastic, rough and scratchy and instead saw them as sick and in need of "surgery.”

The surgical procedure needed and the best "medicine" is love, true love, God's perfect love, God's love in and through us reaching the sick, fake, rough, and scratchy. "Performing surgery" by and through love, and seeing people get well, delivered, and walk in freedom. (1 John 4:8, Philippians 4:6 & 7, Matthew 12:15) In Luke, Jesus said, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He

has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come.” (Luke 4:18 & 19, NLT) Since you and I are joint heirs with Jesus, we can also boldly proclaim: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come.” (Romans 8:17, Galatians 3:26, Romans 10:9, Luke 4:18 & 19, NLT) So many people are very sick emotionally. Sicker than they know or realize. Many of the physical aches and pains people experience are a direct result of emotional scars. According to Dr. Carolyn Leaf, “You cannot control the events or circumstances of your life, but you can control your reactions. I have had a lot of surgeries. When I was

physically sick and in need of surgery, would it have been preposterous for a doctor to reject, belittle, and tell me to “suck it up” and get over it? Yes, of course, it would be! How much more, do the emotionally sick people need really good care?

By love, we can help people make the "connection" so that the plastic, rough and scratchy can “drain” and they can walk in deliverance and freedom!

by Pastor Jo Bruns “…What you say flows from what is in your heart.” Luke 6:45 (NLT)

We’ve all heard the children’s rhyme: “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words shall never hurt me.” The thing is, there is nothing further from the truth. While we may want to believe words don’t hurt, the truth of the matter is our words make an indelible impact in our lives and in those we love. Often, though, the impact of our words is marginalized and discounted with statements such as “Oh, I didn’t mean to say that…” or, like Steve Urkel from Family Matters used to say, “Did I do that?” Yet, God’s Word reminds us in Luke 6:45 (NLT) that “What you say flows from what is in your heart.”

The truth is your words do matter.

It’s been said it takes ten (10) positive comments to offset just one (1) negative comment. Others give the ratio of 5:1. Why is this? It’s because we often respond more deeply to criticism than to

praise and remember the wounding remarks more so than a complement. This holds true for both children and adults.

Many scientific studies have been done to demonstrate the effects of both physical and emotional pain, and these studies indicate that they affect humans in the same way – “The same neural circuitry is involved.” In a “Psychology Today” article on “Enduring the Pain of Childhood Verbal Abuse,” studies by Naomi L. Eisenberger and Ethan Kross both demonstrated the close connection between these areas through examples of social rejection and physical pain by using MRI scanning of the brain. These MRI scans showed that the same areas of the brain lit up in the same manner. They both concluded that “social rejection hurts – literally. And verbal abuse is social rejection expressed in language.”

When children are born into a safe, stable and nurturing environment, their brains develop normally; but when they are born to a family which is unsupportive or hostile, the brain does not.

The various parts of the brain which are affected include the corpus callosum, the hippocampus, and the frontal cortex; these areas affect motor, sensory, and cognitive information, the area that regulates emotions, and the area that controls thought and decisions.

One doesn’t have to ask a scientist or psychologist, though, to know that effect one’s mind and soul. Words cut deep. Through the years that I’ve been in ministry and active with support groups and through peer counseling, I have often heard stories of how a father’s or mother’s words affected a person as they were growing up. They’d say things like, “My father said I’d never amount to anything;” “My mother told me I was fat (or ugly);” “I was told I was a worthless piece of S***;” and “Why can’t you be like ‘so and so?’ They’re smart. You’re just stupid.” Or, even worse, “You were a mistake…I never wanted kids.” The list could go on and on. The common denominator in these types of statements is a sense of rejection or that one will never measure up or be “good enough.”

Throughout the book of James, he speaks on the importance of our words. In James 1:19, James states, “My beloved brothers, understand this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger…;” and in James 3:10 (NLT) he says, “And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right!” The words we speak should edify one another. In 1 Thessalonians 5:11 the Word tells us we should “Encourage one another and build each other up.”

The story that speaks volumes about the impact of a parent’s words toward their children, though, is demonstrated in the story of Isaac and Esau in Genesis 37 when Isaac doesn’t have “A Father’s Blessing” for his son, Esau, after he’d been “tricked” into giving it to his son, Jacob. Esau’s

response was, “Have you only one blessing, Father? Bless me—me also—Father!” When he “realized the futility of his pleas, he raised his voice…he cried pitiably.”

What are the answers, then, if you have been hurt by the words spoken over you? What can you do if you, yourself, have spoken negative things over your children or others? The keys are found through studying the Word of God. First, if you have been the one who has spoken harsh words over another person, including your spouse and children, then confess your sins (your mistakes and shortcomings) one to another and to God. Ask for forgiveness from the person you’ve spoken them towards (if it is possible), and from God, and, also, forgive yourself. If you are the one who has had harsh words spoken over you, acknowledge the hurts, forgive them and, then, through the “renewing of your mind” begin to replace those “hurtful words spoken” with the words that Christ has for you: “I AM loved…I AM chosen…I AM the apple of HIS eye...HE HAS a plan and purpose for my life and it is good.” (see Romans 12:2; Philippians 4:8 and Ephesians 4:29 as a start). In closing, remember this: Through the years, those “old tapes (or mental recordings) of those negative voices” have been running over and over in your mind. But, now, the Lord says, “It’s time to erase and replace those ‘tapes (or mental recordings) of those voices from long ago’ with MY WORDS and with MY VOICE.” God’s Word heals. .

Living By Need Part 2 In part one of Learning To Live By Vision, Walking Away from Living By Need, I discussed the differences separating living by vision from living by need. Yes, there are always going to be needs to be taken care of in life such as a place to live, a vehicle to drive, cloths to wear, food to eat and so on. However, many are living by need for many reasons, but do not realize how limited they are in doing so. Below is a quick refresher of the difference between living by vision and living by need.

• A vision stimulates sowing and giving.

• A need stimulates hoarding.

• Living by vision involves sowing (seed, time, and harvest).

• Living according to need is rooted in instant gratification.

• You can sow to a vision, but cannot sow to a need.

• A vision activates faith.

• A need activates worry.

It all begins with a new view of the parable of the loaves and fishes as seen in Mark chapter eight.

In this popular parable, the disciples were living by need. They saw a need they believed could not be met. Out of their view of need, the disciples saw seven loaves and a few small fish, but nothing more. However, Jesus, living by vision, saw an incredible opportunity. There are many important lessons in this parable, but I want to point out what I believe is the most important of all.

When living by need, we often stay stuck in a situation such as a dead-end job, bad

relationship, or additional place of less than God’s best. Fear is often the foundation factor of such things. Many would rather stay stuck in a less than desirable situation as opposed to taking a chance, stepping out and trying something new. The key comes in noticing when the multiplication of the loaves and fishes took place. It took place as the disciples went out to distribute what was in their hands to the people. They could have taken the supposed safest approach and done nothing but sit around and talk about what they did not have. Instead they followed Jesus’ instruction and put motion to their boat, so to speak. We too can see multiplication with proper action steps, but living by need will often keep us stuck in the same old place of less than desirable experiences. This is the point I want you to see. As you go, take action, and move forward, you will begin to see positive change taking place in and around your life.

Another important key to moving from living by need to living by vision is the simple act of thankfulness. It does not matter how little or how much you begin with. God can multiply what you have as you take forward steps.

Being thankful is true spiritual warfare.

What promises has God given you? Thank Him for those promises today as if they have already come to pass and you are experiencing them right now. This is the highest form of faith. Taking such action is true warfare. You may not realize it, but being thankful ahead of time changes your focus. Moving from living by need to living by vision involves a complete change of focus from the current problem to the solution to the problem.

What do you currently have that God can bless? It may be something tangible, it may be your time, or it may be a talent.

Whatever “it” is, give thanks and watch

God multiply what you have beyond what you ever thought possible! But, whatever you do, do not focus on what appears in the natural if it is contrary to the promises of God. I want to close by making a radical statement that will sum up the differences between living by vision and living by need.

Living by need brings compensation.

Living by vision brings multiplication.

Can you see the importance of taking action to empower the principle of multiplication? God desires to see you prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers (3 John 2). Prosperity of all types only comes via multiplication, but multiplication is not rooted in living by need. In fact, living by need is the weed in the garden of vision.

If you are unsure of how or where to begin the process of walking away from living by need and beginning to live by vision, there is a simple first step: ask God what the first step in the process is. Once you have taken this step, ask Him for the next step and so on. Remember, God only gives us one step at a time.

As far as asking God questions goes, consider the words of James 4:2, “You have not because you ask not.” Remove the word not from James 4:2 and meditate on what HOW TO you see.

Man is the creature whom God has chosen in which to manifest Himself in the earth, first in His Only Begotten Son and now through the body of Christ.

The many facets of God, His nature, and His character, cannot be contained in one member of the body of Christ but must be incased in all members - one major reason we need each other. God did not create robots but created each of us to come into the image of his creator, each a facet of His nature. Each one of us can do one thing better than all the rest. Each of us in the body of Christ possesses a quality of the nature of God that the other members need and can depend upon. Furthermore, His presence in the body is not a conglomeration of disjointed attributes nor randomly scattered fragments of the divine nature, but a harmonious habitation (a result of His workmanship (Eph. 2:10), filled with the fullness of God (Eph. 3: 11).

God's purpose for man is that He dwell in them. Exodus 25:8 KJV, "And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them."

We are the temple of the living God. As God has said, “I will dwell IN them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be “my people.” (2

Corinthians 6:16 NKJV).

"For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship) created in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us (taking paths which He prepared ahead of time) that we should walk in them - living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live." (Eph. 2:10 AMP) However, if we keep belittling ourselves and finding fault with ourselves and fall under condemnation, it’s worse than false humility, we insult God’s workmanship.

We are called, just as the apostles were, not to start a new work but to carry on the work Jesus has begun. If we are born again and are led by the Spirit of God (Rom. 8:14), we do not share the place of Jesus in majesty, position, or glory,

but we share in His place in the perfection of the nature of Christ within us, because the Spirit of God - the Spirit of Jesus – dwells in us and walks in us. Therefore, we can live as He lived, speak as He spoke, and love as He loved.

He is the Potter, we are the clay. To form each child, God molds a fresh lump of clay to fulfill the unique body of Christ. As God continues to transform us, He expects us to walk in that transformed nature here on earth.

Our flesh cannot do good things of spiritual value. It isn't trying to be a good Christian.

Rather, the bottom line is not what we do, but what or who we are, or what God makes us to become.

God is building our body and mind. He "foreordained," means not that He predestined every little act and move of every person but that He predestined a plan and purpose for our lives (Eph. 1:11). Before we can assure our children that they are God’s workmanship, we must first be convinced that we too are His workmanship.

God is not finished with us yet. Ephesians 4:13-14 speak of growth: “Till we all come unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: that we be no more children...”

Several years ago, I taught school at a small Junior college in upstate New York. From my second-floor office I could hear the clunkclunk of each student’s steps on the tile floor outside my office. I could discern, with great accuracy, which student was walking toward my office for each one had a unique walk. If our natural walk is unique, how much more the spiritual walk among our children, differing not only from their siblings but from their friends, even you as a parent and the rest of mankind.

God has created each of us and each of our children to fulfill a unique position in the body of Christ. Let us promote those characteristics.

However, don’t try to force your children into your predetermined mold. If we encourage the positive qualities of our children, those negative traits they may possess will automatically fall by the wayside.

Don’t put down your child because he or she doesn’t excel in some sport, skill or school work. Praise them for what they do accomplish. Each one is God’s workmanship.

Most important, don’t belittle them in front of their friends. Each has unique personalities, talents, likes and dislikes, as well as their calling and gifts of the Lord. Each child is a unique creation of God. Like a giant jigsaw puzzle, God has designed each of us and each of our children to fit into the body of Christ in a way no other person can fulfill.

We teach our children how to make godly choices then help them to take responsibility for those choices. God has developed unique strengths in each child” therefore He expects us as parents, to gently steer them in the right direction – to God. Before we can convince our children that God loves them and that they are a unique creation of God, we must be convinced of God’s love ourselves. Let us set a good example for our children, claim our identity in Jesus Christ, then speak and act like we are a child of God.

PREPARING OUR KIDS TO

Christian parents, by and large, desire the best for their children. Having taken the effort to nurture them in the Christian faith, sincere Christian parents are not heard saying, “Oh, it doesn’t matter if my son/daughter remains a Christian. I just want them to be a nice person and make lots of money, whatever they believe.”

Earnest Christians desire that their children thrive in the Christian faith. They do not want to see their sons/daughters concluding, related to the faith, “Tried it.

Not for me.” However, their desires for the continual spiritual growth and health of

their children are not always realized, due to a variety of factors. Let us look at one of those factors, the lack of knowledge.

We shall begin by considering the presence of good intentions without knowledge. Hosea 4:6 (NKJ) states, “My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge.” If Hosea warns us that God’s people, including our sons and daughters, are destroyed for a lack of knowledge, does that mean that all of those who are destroyed lack good intentions? Obviously, the answer is no. However, good

intentions without knowledge often prove disastrous.

Related to good intentions, there was a man who desired to rebuild the engine of his

son’s car. To his credit, he did manage to get many of the things right when working on the project. However, upon returning the engine to the car and starting the engine, disaster struck. Though he should have realized that having leftover engine parts was a clear omen that his enterprise would fail, due to his lack of knowledge, he did not. Engines don’t run well without bearings, which were among the leftover parts. We may be tempted to guffaw at this amateur mechanic’s result. But, the truth is that all of us lack knowledge in a myriad of ways, including that required to mentor our sons and daughters in the Christian faith. Never is it wise to feign having knowledge or wisdom as we go about such mentoring.

Such pride can lead to missteps, blunders of far greater import than failed engine rebuilds, as they involve loved ones and their spiritual lives.

Overcoming a lack of knowledge involves honesty.

That requires our going humbly before God and asking Him to reveal to us what knowledge we possess and that we are lacking.

When He does so, we then, in faith, should ask Him to grant to us that we are lacking and the wisdom to use all of it.

Having done so, we can rest assured that “God, who gives

to all men liberally and without reproach,” will grant our request (James 1:5, NKJ).

Of course, we do not want to limit God as to the specifics or time line of how He answers our petition. Doing so may involve our attending meetings or seminars hosted by those with expertise related to parenting and/or studying their materials. It may also include our being led to do studies in scripture related to the topic of parenting. If we are to overcome our lack of knowledge, whatever the Holy Spirit leads us to do, we must be willing to do it.

When we lack knowledge, there are some things we should not do. We should not allow ourselves to be conformed to the ideologies, manners of thinking, and philosophies of the world related to child rearing that are contradictory to God’s ways, as revealed in His word (Rom. 12:2). Too often, this happens related to our choice of educational systems for our sons and daughters. Many Christian parents have tragically discovered that the schools they chose for their children, though they may have provided acceptable academic instruction, undermined their spiritual foundations, and were instrumental in them eventually departing from the

faith. This is especially true related to college.

Parents should scrutinize the ideologies embraced and espoused by the prospective colleges their sons and daughters are considering.

Why? For one reason, because it is naïve for them to believe that universities, with atmospheres oppositional, often in a hostile manner, to biblical worldviews and those who embrace such perspectives, will enhance their child’s spiritual growth.

What more often occurs is that such schools play a significant role in negating spiritual growth and prove instrumental in our children rejecting the Christian views they were raised with. Too often, parents, instead of checking out the philosophical and ideological underpinnings of prospective universities, make choices based on other factors (i.e. a family member or friend went there, the college’s prestige is considered with no thought toward the spiritual atmosphere there, etc.). It should come as no surprise, when we send out sons and daughters to colleges oppositional to the Christian faith, that they often end up departing from it.

Understanding that the atmospheres of the educational environments we choose or help to choose for our children are integral to

their Christian growth, there are other elements to consider related to the lack of knowledge, both theirs and ours. Those are factors to consider early in their developing years, not a short time before we send them off to college or they move from home. When they are babies, we should know and/or learn about and engage in activities that begin instilling in them strong spiritual foundations.

We need to continue age appropriate activities with them while they are in our homes.

Integrally related to what we are doing with our children at home connected to their spiritual foundations are the children’s church/youth/ and young adult activities in which they participate. We must familiarize ourselves with the nature of those enterprises.

Pertinent questions are: Is my child being presented accurate biblical truths in a manner that he/she comprehends?

Are those truths instilling in him/her a solid spiritual foundation?

Is my child being prepared to defend the faith when confronted with oppositional views? Do the programs instill or enhance in my child skills and knowledge related to God’s unique plans for his/her life?

In answering these and other valid questions we may have, it is important to remember

that no program is perfect. As parents, it is our responsibility to recognize where weaknesses exist and to compensate for them. And, where the deficiencies are too great, it is our duty to seek alternative programs.

Ultimately, as parents, we are obligated to take steps so that our children are not destroyed by a lack of knowledge. That means being honest with ourselves and admitting where we are lacking it.

God’s help is integral in our doing so. Having determined what we are lacking, it is also imperative that we depend on God to lead us in the proper course of action to take related to our deficiencies. It includes being enlightened about and engaging in spiritual activities with our children at home. It also means familiarizing ourselves with the schools we are considering for our sons and daughters and the children’s church/youth/young adult programs in which they participate. Even with the right schools and programs, there are things we must do to supplement them. And, if we recognize that the schools or programs our children participate in are too weak, we have an obligation to find for them effective alternatives. Doing these things, we will prepare our children to thrive.

GOD’S MASTERPIECE by: Stuart E. Smith

The word masterpiece invokes the sounds of classical music or images of beautiful artwork. You are in the grand scheme of things one of the greatest creations of all time.

Your existence confirms the divine handiwork known as mankind. Mankind may shake his fist at God and say, “You do not exist!” In doing so, he or she denies their own worth in the cosmos.

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Jeremiah 1:5 King James Version Holy Bible

In the verse noted above, God acknowledges His pre-birth plans for the prophet. He reveals a purpose for even the child in a mother’s womb. The first Man Adam was formed from the very dust of the Earth. Then, God breathed life into him and made Adam a living soul.

In Genesis 1:26 the Bible states, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion.” This means that out of all that was created by God, He chose us to be like unto Him and gave us dominion over the fish, birds, animals, and literally the Earth.

The definition of Masterpiece: “A work of outstanding artistry, skill or workmanship.

“Also, “An artists or craftsman’s best piece of work.” You are God’s best, that means even if in the world’s eyes you are deficient in some way, He designed you unique and amazing in your own way. There is no reason to doubt that your talents and gifts bring to the world something that it would not have if you were not here.

In a time in human history where young people often feel useless or helpless; isn’t it refreshing to know that, that just isn’t so? You may have fallen into that trap that the enemy of your soul has laid cunningly before you. Allow me to pull the jaws from your legs. Be free in the knowledge that, YOU ARE SOMEBODY!

Can we anymore hide from the truth that does chase?

May we speak out aloud for those who have no voice?

Let us forever celebrate life and call this our CHOICE. When we understand our intrinsic value as determined by our Lord and our God it outweighs any valuation that the world may put on us. The grand accountant doesn’t look at our debt to income ratio or our assets versus

our liabilities. He looks into the heart of a man, for the treasures that He installed within him.

We were born not just because a man and woman got together, and the science of reproduction was made evident. You and I have been placed on this Earth for “such a time as this.” Our worth isn’t based on what men might say of us. We are the apple of God’s eye.

He loved us so much, that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

This same Jesus, who in the last day will be recognized by all as the King of kings and Lord of lords, has made himself a ransom for us. The lamb of God that was slain from the foundation of the world. Glory, honor and power belong to Him. Yet, He chose to die for you and me?

This is evidence that cannot be disputed how very much God loves us. You are God’s masterpiece. He designed you, and I can imagine Him rolling out His blueprints for your life and smiling at how incredible you shall be. In our lives all adversity is a continuation of His crafting us, more into the likeness of Jesus Christ.

One day, our mortality shall take on immortality and our body will be made new.

You and I are just a pattern of what we shall be. We are that slow-moving caterpillar making our effort to get into the leaf of transformation God has waiting. Whether we die before His return or we are still going our daily way and He suddenly appears, we shall all be changed in an instant.

On that day, His masterpiece in us will be made complete. Until then, like the children’s song says: “He’s still working on me, to make me what I ought to be.” God bless you and keep you all. Continue on my friends, remember, YOU ARE HIS MASTERPIECE. ,

PASS THE WORD!

by: Grace Martin Hey Whiz Kids! This month is November and Thanksgiving is this month as well so i thought i could just give you guys some ideas on how you can put some decorations in your house.

1. Feathered Thanks. Get a large pinecone, and some tan construction paper. Cut out a turkey head and get the appropriate colors of paper and made a face and put some feathers on it. Before you put the feathers on though, on each feather, write what you're thankful for. Then after your turkey is completely finished, you can put it anywhere you want. In your room, kitchen, dining room, etc.

2. Thankful Tree. You will need a pitcher filled with anchored sand, tree branches, and paper ornaments.

Put the tree branches in the pitcher and have family members or friends write what they are thankful for on each ornament. You can have plain white ornaments or colorful ones. After the tree is done, you're ready to put it in your house.

3. Bountiful Bouquet. You will need a tall glass vase, bird seed, wheat green hypericum berries, and purchased feathers. Arrange those items in a vase and you're all set.

4. Pen Your Thanks. You’ll need a candle or something to give each of your guests and some paper. Write each guest a thankful note. Place it at their spot at the table and then you’re done.

5. Corks and Candles. You will need a footed clear, glass vase, corks and a small candle. Just put a candle in the middle of the vase and surround it with corks.

Next light the candle and then you're ready to go.

6. Flowers under glass. You will need a couple glasses and some flower buds. Put the glasses over the flower buds and it’s that easy. This DIY might sound weird but trust me, it makes a good decoration.

by: Speaker/Author Larry Thompson In October of 2003, I was in a church service, and the Holy Spirit began prompting me to write down some verses concerning His glory.

Moreover, He had placed in me a stronger longing and desire to know more about His glory. Up to that point, I had only heard the word used as many people do, in adoration and praise, and also that someday, somewhere, we would all see His glory.

Even though these things are true, there is a deeper revelation and wisdom that the Holy Spirit took time to reveal, to lead and guide into this truth concerning His glory. Have you ever prayed this way, “Holy Spirit, I pray that you lead and guide me into all truth?”

As He has taken me into new experiences and new places, He will take you on your own adventures and discoveries in God’s word. You and I have this in common: we have the same Holy Spirit, and we have the Word to glean and search, like the Bereans, confirming the truth of all that Paul was saying (Acts 17:11). I would ask you to do the very same with this book,

and with a heart of love for His word, to also write down any revelations He gives to you. You will be the one that will be able to benefit most from what you write, and then later, those that the Father brings into your life.

Why did Jesus say, ‘do not cast your pearls before swine?’ He is willing to reveal wisdom, different words the Father has spoken, and then unlock the mysteries of those promises—things once hidden, beyond our comprehension, now being manifested in our lives.

Allow me to string many of the pearls together as He has revealed them to me, either by directly asking or just by the Holy Spirit making it known. I want you to have a more complete and fuller understanding of His glory.

Why do we pray in the spirit?

Why are we built up in our faith when praying in the Holy Spirit? In 1 Corinthians 14:2, it says that when we pray in the spirit, mysteries are being revealed to our spirit. These are the secret things of God being revealed.

That hidden wisdom which

was once concealed has now been given to you, along with the ability to do whatever is revealed (Deuteronomy 29:29).

"Christ is the power of God, and Christ is the wisdom of God" (1 Corinthians 1:24).

When you pray in tongues, you receive mysteries in your spirit; which is Christ in you the hope of glory. When did you receive Christ? It is when you prayed and asked Him into your life. Likewise, when you pray in the spirit, then you have received new revelation by the same Spirit.

You can’t separate the wisdom from the power, for Christ is one. If you received more wisdom, then you also received more power. Every word, every promise of God

is filled with His power. Now it is your turn to access this wisdom, by simply asking.

Take time to listen. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord" (James 1:5-7).

Your faith has been built up by praying in the spirit. The capacity for your faith to increase and to grow is a reality in the spirit. You are being charged, energized with the living word. Light enters. That light is the glory of God. You have His glory in you, and His glory being released through you is the power of God. Jesus is in you, He is in your words, He is in your walk. Everything you do then brings glory back to the Father. We walk by faith, in the spirit, training our hearts to respond to the voice of the Spirit. The revelations that come from the Father build your spirit.

I went to the store with all my children, when they were younger. They could sit in the extended cab pickup I had at the time. I sent my two oldest children into the store to buy things for the little league

picnic taking place over Memorial Day weekend.

While I was sitting with my other two children, I asked them if they would like to pray. (It is so important to have a naturalness with children in the things of God.) We prayed and just talked to God in a simple way. My youngest daughter, Candice, told me that, "I want to ask Jesus into my heart." "Out of the mouth of babes..."

(Psalms 8:2). She was not yet three years old. We had not even mentioned asking Jesus into your life in our conversations. I said to her, "Yes we can do that."

I instructed her that I would pray, and I wanted her to pray what I said, and then when we were done praying together I would pray again. We prayed together. This was not just a simple prayer. We took time to thank God that Jesus had died for our sins, and that Jesus makes us clean and new, and then asked Jesus to come into our hearts. I took time to pray afterwards, as I had told my daughter I would.

After we were done praying, the Holy Spirit prompted me to ask my daughter where Jesus was. When I asked Candice where He was, her response was, “In my heart.”

Those words, “In my heart,” were the revelation from the Father, that I took time to build into her life so that her

faith could grow. Many times afterwards I would ask her, "Where is Jesus?" and her response would always be the same: “In my heart.” I might have thought when she first asked me to pray, that she was too young to understand, or that she didn’t know the Bible. Spiritual things are simple enough for the child to grasp, yet so deep that you will never exhaust the wisdom of God. He continues to reveal everything to us.

When we grow in Christ, He builds us with His word.

There are many more things He will reveal. I took time to build the word into this young believer, my daughter, line upon line, not unlike how the Father reveals and teaches us.

I shared just this one verse to put into her life, “We walk by faith and not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7). When I first took time to teach this verse to Candice, I also had her say the Scripture reference, where it was found. My other children noticed what she was saying, and started picking up on the same verse, too.

Anything that the Father does is good. He spoke words and saw that it was good. That revelation needs to be alive in your heart, to receive the benefit and the power of His glory. When you see things around you and do not have answers, and have several

other voices seeking to get your attention on the surroundings or circumstances, how easy it is to forget that all that the Father does is good. "All things work together for good to those who love God, and are called according to His purposes" (Romans 8:28). Do you know this? I mean, do you know this intimately in your spirit, that without fail you can say, “All things are working together for my good?�

"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit" (Romans 8:1).

Sometimes you may not have immediate understanding why something has happened. When you pray in the spirit, you have set in motion the word and promises working for you.

Your confidence is in His word. He said He would

reveal mysteries when you do. Those things in the unknown, foreign to your thinking become settled in your spirit because you have exercised His word in prayer.

You are building yourself up when you do. That is a very good thing. This will give you complete and perfect peace, when you have kept your thoughts, and your mind on Him. "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You" (Isaiah 26:3).

by: Krissy Webb As we become parents, everything changes. We want what is best for our children. We want them to be healthy, happy, and stable. As Christians, we have the job of raising up a child in the way they should go (Proverbs). When we teach children structural bible verses, it gives them a firm foundation to stand on. They can use those key verses to grow into the adult we as parents long for them to be.

John 3:16 (NIV) "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

We can see in this first verse that it explains God loves us so much he gave up his son

for us. It also goes on to say that because he gave up his son, we will never be alone even when we die because we will always be with God. God is the ultimate giver. He shows us how unselfish he really is. Every child should know that they are loved and never alone. In today's society life on earth is portrayed as everyone for themselves.

Exodus 20:3 (ESV) "You shall have no other gods before me."

Short but oh so sweet is our second verse. Our children need to know that God comes first and that we should not make anyone or anything more important than him. It is so easy to let our flesh overtake us into

sin. We can get so caught up in fleshly things like social media, television, or sports among others and not even know that we are living more for those things above God. Ephesians 6:2 (ESV) "Honor your Father and Mother."(this is the first commandment with a promise)

This third verse for children tells them that if they honor, obey, listen to their parents they will be blessed. If they don't and they disrespect, rebel, or disobey their parents, then harder life is that child's journey. Children need to learn to respect authority. As the parents, it is our job to encourage our children to obey us and teach them if they do not then there are consequences for their actions. It is written all through the old testament God the Father having to discipline his children for not doing as he instructed to do.

1 Peter 4:10 (NLT) "God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another."

As we come to verse four, we can read that each person is different. We each have a gift inside our spirit from God. Teaching a child that everyone has their own gift helps them to be able to accept and feel like a piece of the puzzle. The last part of this verse tells us what we are supposed to do with those gifts. We are to serve one another. Helping each other and doing our part is the unity that this world needs. We need to get out of the "fast food� and "it's all about me" mentality.

Philippians 4:13 (NLT) "For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength."

The fifth verse tells your child that they can accomplish everything with God by their side. Confidence is something children need to learn early. With so much negativity and peer pressure in the world, teaching your child that they have the strength for everything that they walk through is a major key to succeeding in life.

As our children grow, we as parents can add in more verses to build on our child's foundation. There are so much more verses to learn.

The word is alive and with each level of growth/ situations your child can learn to have a joyful and blessed life.

I am the Bread of Life [that gives life--the Living Bread]. Your forefathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and [yet] they died. If anyone eats of this Bread, he will live forever; and also the Bread that I shall give for the life of the world is My flesh (body).

Joh 6:48-51 Amplified To be fair, Jesus was speaking to the Jewish people in Old Covenant times and even referenced Moses. But wait…Did He say “anyone” who eats of this Bread?

Anyone.

If Jesus is the example of the perfect will of God in action, there must be an illustration of an “anyone” in the bible. Fortunately for you, there is. A woman who had no rights under the Jewish law talked Jesus into freeing her daughter. They talked about bread and healing, and

she wanted some for her child. Jesus finally agreed. Here’s the story from both Matthew and Mark’s camera angles combined into one from the Amplified version: And behold, a woman who was a Canaanite from that district. Now the woman was a Greek (Gentile), a Syrophoenician by nationality, came out and, with a [loud, troublesomely urgent] cry, begged, Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is miserably and distressingly and cruelly possessed by a demon! Instead, at once, a woman whose little daughter had (was under the control of) an unclean spirit heard about Him and came and flung herself down at His feet.) But He did not answer her a word. And His disciples came and implored Him, saying, Send her away, for she is crying out after us. He answered, I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. But she came and, kneeling, worshiped Him and kept praying, Lord, help me! And He answered, It is not right (proper, becoming, or fair) to take the children's bread and throw it to the little dogs. And He said to her, First let the children be fed, for it is not becoming or proper or right to take the children's bread and throw it to the [little house] dogs. She said, Yes, Lord, yet even the little pups (little whelps) eat the crumbs that fall from their [young] masters’ table. But she answered Him, Yes, Lord, yet even the small pups under the table eat the little children's scraps of food. Then Jesus answered her, O woman, great is your faith! The Treasury of Scripture Knowledge says this about word dogs as used in these verses: “to the little dogs,” lap dogs, etc., the diminutive of, a dog. The Jews, while they boasted of being the children of God, gave the name of dogs to the heathen, for their idolatry, etc.

Are you included? Do you get to partake of the children’s bread? Were the “little dogs” included? She got the same bread as the Jews. Same Jesus. Same Bread. Same results.

I am the Bread—living Bread!--who came down out of heaven. Anyone who eats this Bread will live--and forever! The Bread that I present to the world so that it can eat and live is myself, this flesh-and-blood self.

John 6:51 Message

First, you qualify as an ANYONE. Second, you are a new creation in Christ and now seated in Jesus in the heavenly dining table. That is a far better position for dining then hanging out with the heathen under the table!

Jesus fulfilled the verse in Psalm 23:5 MSG that says, “You serve me a six-course dinner right in front of my enemies. You revive my drooping head; my cup brims with blessing.” What a dinner.

The Wuest Word Studies say of the phrase “The devil is gone out.” The translation is that of the perfect tense. The expanded rendering is, "The demon has gone out, with the present result that it is out." It was a permanent cure. So Wuest translates it as, “And He said to her, Because of this word, go; the demon is gone out of your daughter.”

Wouldn’t it be nice if the doctor said to you, “I am here to let you know about your diagnosis in the present-tense… the cause of sickness is out of your body with the present result that it is gone!” Doctors don’t talk like that today, but The Bread of Life does. The miracle is now IN you though the finished work of Christ. He says to you, The sickness has gone out, with the present result that it is OUT of your body. Agree with the methods of Jesus. Agree that the Living Bread lives on the inside of you and has an immediate effect of healing and deliverance.

Let’s not forget the real reason why this daughter was set-free. The mom told Jesus that she could also eat of the bread. Read Mark 7:29-30 slowly again. “And He said to her, Because of this saying, you may go your way; the demon has gone out of your daughter [permanently].

When she got home the scene was very different than before. “And she went home and found the child thrown on the couch, and the demon departed.”

Mr. Thayer says that the Greek word is klinē. It is used for couch in verse 30 and can mean: a small bed, a couch or…a couch to recline on at meals or…a couch on which a sick man is carried. A sick bed or a place to dine.

The Devil threw her to the SICK BED but Jesus freed her to recline and eat of the children’s bread.

Only Jesus lets the dogs sit and eat on the couch. Like the determined mom who got a result for her daughter, say it out loud, “I have the Living Bread Living inside of me, the Life of God is in every one of my cells. The same Spirit that raised Jesus makes all my cells come alive. That is the Living Bread that i have been fed. I AM provided Living Bread for my healing. Then go and help another person to realize they can go from the sick bed to the dinner table today.

I am the bread of life! Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness and died there in the wilderness. This, what you have here in me standing face to face with you, is the very sustenance of your life; the bread descending out of the heavenly sphere for everyone to eat their fill and not die. I am the living bread, I stepped out of the heavenly realm into this earth suit, in the incarnation, so that everyone may feast on the idea of their true incarnate identity mirrored in me and discover the life of the ages incarnate in them! The bread that I will give is my own flesh; it will translate into life for the entire cosmos! John 6:48-51 Mirror Bible

FROM A CHILD

What I mean is, because I am one who has been “saved at birth” (not really, I had quite a significant salvation experience at age 4), I’ve been accustomed to “Christian speak” literally all my life. As mentioned earlier, I was saved at 4; vivid memories of wanting to go forward (raised Southern Baptist) and make a public profession of faith. Because of my parents’ dedication to the Lord, I did have a solid grasp of what that meant.

However, they did not actually allow me to officially engage in that activity until age 5 ½, to be sure I “got it.” From cradle roll forward, I’ve been in church every time the door was unlocked, for every service, every activity.

Except for a couple of back steps in my 20’s and 30’s, serving God and activity in church has been my life.

When I requested “Being a

Child of God.” I was just sure I understood the term perfectly, because, after all, I’m a dedicated “career Christian.”

That’s when I discovered that being a Child of God is only the beginning. I mean, I knew the other part, but never truly connected the two until now.

Romans 8: 14-17 describes the process of salvation; Those who are led by the Spirit of God are Sons of God. The word “sons” and “children” are often interchangeable in the various translations. Of course, to get the full understanding, we must back up to verse 1. One of the most familiar and much-quoted verses in the Book, verse 1 speaks of the fact that we who are in Christ Jesus do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Of course, the verse begins with the word “therefore.” I love that word because it leads to more clarification of the

subject it directly precedes.

Dad Hagin was often heard saying something like “When you see the word “therefore” you need to look and see what it’s there for!” On that note, but Chapter 7 is very enlightening, although we do not have time to venture into it today.

Verse 2 of chapter 8 points out that the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus sets us free from the Law of Sin and Death. This passage goes on

to make it clear that, anyone who (in reality, not just going through the motions) has taken Jesus into their heart is going to live, not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. The proof is Jesus’ residence in our hearts is in the way we live; that is not to say we live perfect because unfortunately, perfection is a work in progress; nevertheless, our lives should most certainly reflect Who is directing our steps. There is so much more to this passage, but for now, we’ll move.

Verse 10 says that because Christ lives in us, the body is dead because of sin, BUT, in verse 10 and 11, we are told that the residence of the Spirit quickens our bodies; that is our flesh; our earthly selves; to have life despite living in these temporary shells. Hallelujah, as if that weren’t enough, Verse 14 says that BECAUSE we are led by the Spirit, we are sons/children of God. According to verse 15, we are no longer in bondage to sin, meaning sin can no longer control us unless we allow it, but that we are fully ADOPTED in the family! In Verse 16, it confirms we are children of God! Verse 17 is the most exciting verse of all. Because we have been adopted through the Spirit of God, we are now

HEIRS. That’s where I had read these beloved passages repeatedly but had never fully connected them. Becoming Children of the living God also makes us, not just heirs, but joint heirs with Christ!

For the sake of space, we won’t go into the next portion of that verse, which begins dealing with the suffering of Christ and how we are a part of it; that would be for another time. Suffice it to say that IS part of what we as adopted sons and heirs accept as part of our position in Him. Galatians 3: 27-29 speaks of having “put on Christ;” now, it seems advantageous to take the simple, literal meaning of that phrase, because of the next portion of Scripture. If we have literally “put on Christ,” He’s covering us in such a way that we are not seen as Jew, Greek, slave, free, male, or female, but as one in Him. That is a powerful statement and one that deserves to be more fully developed at some point.

Jumping down into Chapter 4 of Galatians, verse 5 again reminds us that, because of Jesus’ gift, mentioned in verse 4, we are indeed adopted as sons or children.

Again, in verse 6, we are told that God SENT the Spirit of Jesus into our hearts, enabling us to have that most intimate of relationships with Him; that we can call Him

Abba, that is, Daddy. The revelation of the meaning of the word “Abba” shook me to my core; because, He has in fact taken us fully as His children! In verse 7, we’re told we are no longer slaves, but sons; if sons, then heirs through Jesus. This is stunning. Stunning. This is what I knew because of reading it my whole life, but never truly connecting. These are not symbolic statements; they are literal. We, who have accepted Jesus as Savior are, right now, literally children and heirs of the Father, the Creator of the Universe.

More than that, Ephesians 3:6 says we are on equal ground with God’s chosen people, Israel. Equal ground.

But wait….there’s more. In Hebrews 1:14, we’re told angels (ministering spirits) are set in place to minister to us. That is, as we speak the Word-another subject to be developed more thoroughly!

Chapter 2 verse 7 says we’re crowned with glory and honor. Verse 8 states we haven’t even seen everything that has been placed under Jesus’ feet in triumph, yet, because we are the Body, these things are under our feet as well. How does that translate to you? To me, it’s saying, everything is subject to us as children of God. There is no reason NOT to live in victory with the revelation of this truth.

Verse 16 says He gives aid to us as the seed of Abraham; verse 18 reminds us He gives aid to us who are dealing with temptation.

are told in Chapter 11, verse 7 that “we are heirs of the righteousness that is according to faith” because we ACT in faith of God’s promises and instructions.

Chapter 3, verse 14 states “we are partakers of Christ”. We

There is so much more. And yet, just the knowledge that

the Son of God came here to do the work necessary to bring us into this position is the most amazing, mindboggling truth of all. Thank you, Lord Jesus. What a perfect month to celebrate that knowledge.

(Matthew 22:14, ESV) According to Acts 19:13, A Jewish Priest, whose name was called Sceva, had seven sons who were referred to in the scriptures as vagabonds and they went to cast out demons from a man who leaped on them and beat them mercilessly. Finally, it tore their clothes and left them naked because they were not called nor chosen to cast out the demons. Anytime I read about the sons of Sceva; I recall how the Son of Nebuchadnezzar became king in the place of his father after his father Nebuchadnezzar had died.

The book of Daniel does not set aside the fact that that this kingdom, and every kingdom is established by God. This son of Nebuchadnezzar easily forgot about how God drove his father out from among men to eat grass with the beast of the field, like an animal due to his prideful behavior. It was then that Nebuchadnezzar came back with the fear of God and with humility.

This son of Nebuchadnezzar brought women into his father’s palace and drank from the precious golden cups which were from the Holy of Holy place from the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem. At that time, God had given the Jewish people over into their hands as their slaves, which was supposed to last for seventy years. Immediately after he drank from those

holy cups, a hand came to write on the wall, stating that his days was numbered.

This son of Nebuchadnezzar died shamefully for disregarding God and profaning his holy cups which were to be used by the High Priest alone.

The son of Nebuchadnezzar who was stricken by God; as well as the sons of Sceva, and the Jewish Priest who was beaten by the demons, did not know God. This does not mean that God is working with demons. No, God works through His Holy Spirit within everyone who believes in the name of Jesus Christ.

Just before the demons leaped on them to beat them, they told them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?” This reveals to us that the demons can know whether we fear God or not. Demons can recognize whether we believe in Jesus Christ or not and whether a person is of God or the devil.

In the Old Testament, we see that when the son of Nebuchadnezzar drank from the holy cups

which were meant only for High Priest. So, that son was stricken by the fierce hand of God. But in the new testament, it is revealed in Ephesians 2:1-2 that all those who are living such lives are dead in their spiritual lives and are being controlled by an evil spirit whose name is the prince of the power of the air. But those who believe in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, have been quickened in their spirit. This also tells us that the sons of Sceva were beaten by the demons because they were not quickened in their spirit and they were vagabonds. In Ephesians 2:1-3 they were referred to as the children of disobedience.

Those demons had great power and control over these children because they did not believe in the name of Jesus Christ.

When you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you are chosen by God, and the whole Heaven, Earth, and things under earth bore witness to this. Therefore, the demons were able to know that the sons of Sceva were not chosen by God to cast them out, just as the son of Nebuchadnezzar who drank from the holy cups of the temple, was not chosen to drink from the cup. In the Old Testament, it was difficult for people to be chosen by God. But in the New Testament, Jesus Christ made it easy for

everyone to be chosen by God, and that is by believing in His finished works.

It was difficult in the Old Testament for people to be chosen by God because, at that time, there was no gospel of Jesus Christ for the people back then, who were considered by the Jewish religion as Gentiles. And as gentiles, our forefathers who never had the grace to hear the message of Jesus Christ and to believe and be saved by the power of the Gospel had not experienced the death and resurrection of Jesus. But today, we have that grace to believe in His gospel and be saved by it, which is why you and I have been chosen.

The Bible say’s this in 1 Peter 2:9, that we are that chosen generation. 1 Peter 2:8-10 (ESV) says, “8 and “A stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense.” They stumble because they disobey the word, as they were destined to do.

9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are God's people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.”

These eight questions have covered a few of the great workout routines for all muscles of the body. Do three sets of each exercise, with a break of 1 minute between each set. One can take a sip of water between each set. Maximum water intake for one hour of gym workout is 1 liter.

Following this regime, I have secured 4th position in District Level Weight Lifting Competition (Under -18) in the year 2008. I lost 20 extra kilograms from my body in the year 2017 following the above workout regime with proper nutrition.

This orphanage has 27 children. Balikowa had 21, then a mother died of cancer and left behind 5 children. Their grandparents do not have the capability to care for them, so Balikowa agreed to care for them in Tree of Life Orphanage.

Then one other little girl came to the orphanage when her mother also died. We were able to get the money to get Tree of Life Orphanage registered.

They are waiting on their paperwork. I am sharing a copy of each of the Director: Balikowa Musa children in the orphanage with their name and age.

If possible, please select a child or a family of children to help this Christmas. Their hearts will be overjoyed if they receive even one gift. Balikowa could also use food to make them a very special Christmas dinner.

Dennis Torori

Dennis works with adults and children in the villages to produce medicinal products to sell from the materials he grows. He provides medicine for the eradication and knowledge of Jiggers. He also provides food, clothing, education, healthcare, and security for the orphans in his area.

He would like to construct a well-equipped institution for orphans – considering disabled children.

Below is a list of those adults and children he helps. Each one shows the person’s name, male/female, age, location and their needs.

I believe it would be the best to send a donation to this ministry, so Dennis can purchase more medication, food, clothing and any other items they may need.
