Everything about Evangelist Mario Murillo defies the odds. He is a native of San Francisco a city not known for producing international Evangelists. His ministry was born in the drug obsessed, occult saturated 70’s in the epicenter of violent student revolutionBerkeley, California. His gift seemed doomed to fail on an atheistic campus. Mix in persuasive Gospel messages with the raw healing power of Jesus. The unexpected result was a vibrant army of 2,000 students. Mario’s international ministry began in San Jose with a four-day crusade that was extended to six months and reached 250,000 people in an Azusa Street-type visitation. Mario impacted

San Francisco in 1986 with the largest Christian gathering in a decade. He returned there in 1989 to preach for 30 days at the world-famous Cow Palace as 5,000 people flooded the altar. Also in 1991, Mario preached in Los Angeles to a packout Shrine Auditorium. In an historical two-day crusade, he watched 1500 gang members give their lives to Christ. In 1999 after six months of IMPACT to the city of San Francisco Mario returned to the Cow Palace for five nights of power where thousands received Christ. Mario annually conducts approximately 50 outreaches which are noted for the presence of God and exuberant worship. His preaching pierces the heart and unravels modern evil. His IMPACT meetings are

designed to be a power point to draw people together in unity for the purpose of prayer, worship and winning souls. With careful, strategic preparation, in unity under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, cities can experience a fresh fire of revival like never before. Mario has authored several best-selling books such as Critical Mass, Fresh Fire, Fresh Impact, I Am the Christian the Devil Warned You About and his most recent release Edgewise.

classic moral values to make them look like hatred. Political Correctness has morphed into Enforced Correctness. The church is no longer allowed to disagree and Christians are told by government and the media that they must comply or face criminal charges.

There is a phrase that will save you and America. To fully grasp the phrase and the power it unleashes you must first admit something: We have entered the worst season American Christians have ever known. Face it! There are forces crashing against our spirit unheard of by prior generations. Not only this, things are about to hit us that few are prepared for. Here is a short list of potential triggers to crisis: The persecution of American believers will accelerate: The enemies of the faith have redefined

Extended age and pension pressure foretells the collapse of welfare: Most will not be able to stop working and spend their old age seeking out an existence. This is a double whammy to many who are retiring right now. Their savings, 401Ks, IRAs and pensions have shrunk while the number of years that they will need to finance has increased. Suddenly, long life feels like a curse! Health care keeps getting worse. This could not be happening at a worse time! New diseases, viruses and emotional traumas will soon overtake society. Dealing with doctors is getting miserable. Many will refuse to work with insurance companies. Costs for medicine and care will skyrocket.

Political division means no solutions are coming from our leaders. Don’t look for common sense to come from either party in Washington. They are too divided to act in the best interest of the people. A great falling away: Unless there is drastic action, we will see the worst decline of the church in our nation’s history. Vast amounts of America were lost by a generation that did not know its Bible or what God has done in our history. However there is one phrase--one attitude-- that will save you, give you unimagined power‌ a phrase that will make all of the difference in the world to your health physically and mentally. This declaration will pave the way for you to conquer anything that the future holds. So what is the phrase that if it came roaring out of our spirit would give us the upper hand over all of the insanity of this time? It begins with a special kind of leverage. Archimedes, genius of antiquity discovered an awesome physical law. He once wrote to his friend and kinsman King Hiero of Syracuse, of this force could

be used to move any weight. He said, “Give me a place to stand and I will move the earth!"

must take a position where you cannot be moved but all of your fears and crises must move!

King Hiero, who was absolutely astonished by the statement, asked him to prove it. A ship blocked the harbor which all of the men of Syracuse could not move. Archimedes, who had been examining the properties of levers and pulleys, built a machine that allowed him to single-handedly move the ship from a distance away.

You are declaring that you are happening to the end times when you do these things:

Thousands of years later man still conquers immovable objects with the science of levers and pulleys.

Now take a look at God. He gives special grace for these last days. Grace is not just favor. It is not just forgiveness. It is the combined power of the resurrection and the righteousness of Jesus Himself.

Now apply that principle to the work of the Holy Spirit. He whom Jesus sent has come along side us to apply simple but irresistible force on all of our trials and tribulations. It begins with this phrase that hit me like a lightning bolt: THE END TIMES ARE NOT HAPPENING TO ME. I AM HAPPENING TO THE END TIMES. This is no hollow boast, it is fact! Archimedes could never have imagined the pulleys and levers of divine destiny! He took a stand and you must take a stand. You

1. Become catalytic. A catalyst is any substance that causes or speeds up a chemical reaction without itself being changed or consumed. The hellish events of today cannot change you or consume you.

We hear Daniel 11:32 “Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.” We hear that verse quoted quite often but we may be failing to see the real good news in that promise and its direct bearing on what you are going through right now. Because you know God you are protected from the

corruption of this time. Because you know God you will be stronger than these times. Because you know God you will not merely survive these times, you will exploit them. However, speaking out against evil—including our government—is a key to being catalytic! You are not a prophet unless you are willing to rebuke the king! Turn on Christian television and it won’t be long before you see a false prophet today. He will tell his victims that they are about to be blessed and favored. Then he will make an utterly meaningless, high probability prediction. It always sounds sickeningly similar. “The Lord has shown me that you are about to be wealthy beyond your dreams. You do not realize how much Daddy loves you and wants to bless you.” This kind of ministry, in this current crisis, is extreme denial bordering on insanity. Christian television should be calling the Christians to action against the war on our values! At some churches, rolling on the floor, drooling while making animal noises is

considered the “moving of the Spirit.” Then there is the other extreme: Pastors preach sermons that sound like a late night monologue, stringing together phrases straight out of fortune cookies, making sure that they end on time and leave the audience spiritually unscathed. Both extremes carry the same lie: American Christians are too valuable for sacrifice. We are too blessed for the Cross. We are too entitled to join the rest of the Christian world in persecution and holiness. To be a catalyst you must surrender. To have true authority, you must leave all of the religious game-players behind. 2. Supernatural healing power must be real to you. Signs and wonders cannot be wishful thinking but a concrete conviction. Confess that He will restore your energy; He will oversee your immune system. He will guard your heart so that your resistance to disease will be awesome. Obamacare cannot begin to match the benefits of what Christ offers you now.

Psalm103:1 “Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: 3 Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, 4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, 5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” Isaiah 40: 31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. James 5:14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. You do not have to dread long lines at an emergency room when you claim Christ as your doctor and the guardian of your health!

Things coming make it essential for you to know that Christ is your healer. 3. Supernatural emotions will remove your fear of bad news, headlines and threats. It is time for the people who quote, “Greater is He who is in me than he that is in the world, to also confess “greater is He who is in me than what is happening in the world.” Psalm 112:7-8 “He will not be afraid of evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.” God wants to give us supernatural emotions. Isaiah 26:3 “You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.” John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” However, Christians must be separate from the corruption of modern culture. A society that is selfish and opposes scripture will collapse in their own misery. Psalm 16:4 “Their misery shall be multiplied

that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.” God wants you to walk in the knowledge of His supernatural protection. John 17:15 “My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.” Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” The Lord God Almighty is your supernatural provider and protector.

The NSA has been spying on Americans. This has many believers up in arms. Consider this: Satan already knew everything about you: Social Security Number, cell phone, driver’s license, and bank account numbers and your home address. But because of Jesus’ prayer, the devil is helpless to use it against you. You are protected! You are here for a big reason. You are not the victim you are the victor. Here is a before and after snapshot for you in these two final verses:

Judges 6:13 “Gideon said to Him, “O my lord, if the Lord is with us, why then has all this happened to us? This a man before his transformation--life is happening to him. Romans 8:31 “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” This is the Church happening to the end times! So now I am asking you the question: What shall we say to these terrible, evil, stressful things? We shall say: THE END TIMES ARE NOT HAPPENING TO ME. I AM HAPPENING TO THE END TIMES!

Dr. Larry Ollison’s book, The Power of Grace, has given the reader a clear understanding of what Grace really is. Grace is not only Salvation for the sinner and forgiveness for the Christian, but also guidance for our daily lives. Grace is presented with Old and New Testament backup from the writings of the prophets and the words of Jesus and the apostles. Instead of teaching that grace is a license to sin, Dr. Ollison has presented grace as the power to save us from sin and to keep us from sinning.

Activating

Spiritual forces by: Dr. Larry Ollison

Faith and fear are opposites. In the same way that hot and cold, up and down, east and west, are opposites, likewise faith and fear are opposites. They cannot both be active at the same time. In my airplane, there is a gauge that gives me the rate of ascent or the rate of descent. It tells me how quickly I am ascending or it tells me how quickly I am descending. There is only one gauge for this function because I cannot be doing both at the same time. If I am going up, I am not going down. And if I am going down, I am not going up. Up and down are opposites and you cannot be doing both at the same time. Faith and fear are the two forces in the spirit realm that activate angelic assistance. Faith activates the angels of God and fear activates fallen angels (demonic spirits). Romans 10:17 says that faith comes by hearing when you hear the Word of God. Of course we know that to activate faith, you must believe what God says. Likewise, fear comes from hearing, but it comes by hearing the words of the enemy and when you believe what he says, it activates the fear. Psalm 103:20 says that angels (the angels of God) are mighty in strength and that they are standing by waiting to hear the voice of God’s Word and when

they hear it, they act upon it. As a Christian, you are the voice of God’s Word on the earth today. When you say what He says, it activates His angels to minister to you in the area of the promise in His Word that you have spoken and believed. In other words, when you say and confess what God says about you, it activates the angels of God to bring it to pass. When something looks impossible in your life, as a Christian, you cannot base your life upon the way things look. Instead, you must walk by faith and not by sight. In doing this, you will say what God says about your circumstances instead of saying the way things look. For example, when it looks like a situation or circumstance in life is overpowering and that your defeat is imminent, remember that greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). Remember that your faith in God’s Word will bring a victory (1 John 5:4). When the angels of God hear you speak the Word of God, they stand up and operate in the purpose of their creation, which is to minister to those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews

1:14). The power of one angel can overpower all of the world. However, on the other hand, if you speak the negative words of fear, these words fuel the demonic realm and by relinquishing your authority that comes through the words of faith, you, by default, allow the enemy to bring destruction. If God’s Word says you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13), but the words coming out of your mouth are, “I can’t do this. We are going to be destroyed. There’s no hope for us,” you nullify the authority you’ve been given over the power of the enemy and open the door for the enemy to enter your house.

In Mark 11:23, Jesus said that if we would speak to the mountain, that it would move. However, He followed with a qualifying statement. Immediately after stating that the mountain would be removed after we commanded it to be cast into the sea, Jesus said this. He said if we believe in our heart that the words we say would come to pass, then we would have whatever we said. What does this mean? This means that even though you may say the right words, if you don’t believe them in your heart, they are empty and they are of no effect. So how do we speak God’s promises for us with authority and belief knowing that what He said is true? Well the answer is quite simple and clear. There is only one verse in the Bible that tells us how faith comes. And that is in Romans 10:17 and it says, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” We know for a fact that if you hear something enough times, you believe it. This is where we get the term “brainwashed.” Christians need to get their brains washed with the Word of God (Romans 12:2). Instead of

filling themselves with the lies of the enemy, their minds must be renewed with the Word of God. Through this daily washing of the Word in the realm of their souls, the belief in God’s Word that’s in our hearts will activate the words that we speak, which in turn will activate the angels of God to cause that Words to come to pass. “Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?” (Hebrews 1:14). Angels are here to help us, not to scare us. They can help us in the same way they helped the Christians in the Bible. In Acts 12, Herod the king arrested Peter and put him in prison and assigned four squads of soldiers to guard him. Peter was in an impossible situation. But the church was praying, and in the middle of the night an angel came to him and got him out of prison.

As a Christian, you have the power of Heaven in the form of angelic assistance available to you that can deliver you from any attack of the enemy (Psalm 34:19). Whatever the problem, whatever the circumstance, regardless of how great it is or how desperate things may look, the angels of God are standing by waiting to hear the voice of His Word so that they can leap to your aid to deliver you. For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone. Psalm 91:11,12 You must understand this. As a Christian, you have been given authority over all the power of the enemy and that power is activated when you speak the Word of God in faith. In one night one angel sent from God destroyed 185,000 enemy soldiers coming against the nation of Israel. You have multitudes of angels waiting to deliver you today (Isaiah 37:36). Know your authority, speak the Word of God and be delivered.

out My Spirit in those days” (Joel 2).

Zechariah 10:1 says, “Ask the LORD for rain In the time of the latter rain. The LORD will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain.” There is no doubt in my mind that according to Bible prophecy, there will be a Great Awakening, or an End Time Revival as some call it, which must take place before our Jesus returns. Yet, many people today no longer look for an End Time harvest of souls or an End Time Awakening at all. Many have given up hope and just want a way of escape. However, we cannot ignore the words of the Prophet Joel saying, “28 And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see 29 visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour

When writing about any subject pertaining to the establishing of prophetic revelation or truth, all new pieces of information or theology will always take on the form of seeming very odd or untrue at the first. And as new findings are presented and judged by other scripture, they will either line up with the Word of God, or prove to be false. Therefore, all new pieces of what seems to be biblical revelation, it must always be substantiated by other scriptures. Now; when it comes to establishing a MYTH, it can simply be defined as a traditional or legendary story. For example; the only thing required to believe in the existence of a legendary figure is for someone to convince you they really exist. Such myths can be based on a story from a historical point of view, which can also by a mythological fact or something established by rumor which becomes legendary. However, a TRUTH can mean the conformity to fact, or the actual state of a matter. But in all matters of Truth, we must stay with the Word of God. Therefore, in terms of the End Time or Last Days, there will be an end to one age, followed by the beginning of another.

In this case, the church age is traditionally viewed as ending with a rapture or a catching away of the bride of Christ, followed by a great tribulation, and all other events that will follow as mentioned in scripture. The next age to come is commonly known by some as the age of Wrath. But in reality, it will be the age of Kingdom Rule, or the age of Kingdom of God. [But that is another lesson]. Now, Zechariah 10:1 tells us that there is a season or a time for the later rain to come, just as Joel tells us that afterward or in the hinder part of the last days, God will pour out His Spirit. Yet to believe in something established as a truth, one must conform to proven facts based on what God’s Word says. Listen, if a biblical truth can make you free, then no matter how farfetched it may seem, that truth must be embraced by faith. Yet regardless of one’s personal beliefs, all Christians must consider what the Bible says. The fact is this; theology is basically a systematic study of scriptures, mostly pertaining to the nature of God and religious truth. But the two most common studies or questions people have today is this: 1) is the Bible true? And 2) will the End Time come to pass as recorded in the book of Revelation?

When taking a look at the beginning of the book of Revelation, we clearly see that this book is the revelation of Jesus Christ; and it contains a message to the church as well as information about all the events which must follow shortly. It is a book of revelation, revealed to the Apostle John, by the Holy Spirit. So as John writes Revelation chapter 3, we find seven messages given to the seven churches which are located in Asia Minor. However, this is speaking prophetically about a church age which began after the cross. And now we have the church age coming to a close, which should have a rapture type event followed by the next age appearing on God’s prophetic timeline. Yet, until we have a Great Awakening, as prophesied by the Prophet Joel, a catching away of the saints cannot occur. Revelation 4:1-2 says, “1 After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this. 2 Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne.” In the known timeline of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, we can clearly see how John hears a voice or

voices in coming out of the third heaven {a real place, but a realm in the Spirit}, which says, “come up here” and I will show you things which must come, or which must come next. Now, I know that some Christians will tell you that Revelation 4:1 is what some call the Rapture of the church. But the truth is that this is the record of John’s vision, not a rapture or catching away of the saints. It may have symbolisms or examples of a catching away, but there is still more to be revealed. I still believe in a pretribulation catching away, but it will take place according to God’s prophetic timeline. Next we find John caught up in the Spirit and finds himself in The Throne Room of Heaven where there is such a powerful presence of God, John becomes so overwhelmed that he can hardly describe this wonderful experience. This immediately reminds me of when Isaiah 42:18 said, “Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it?” This speaks to me of a corridor or threshold of time in between the church age and the next age to come. And since we do not know exactly what it will look like, this grey area is where the Final Great Awakening will take place. It does not mean that we will not be aware of certain things during this time or carry certain elements

of knowledge with us. But it does mean that we must keep our eyes on Jesus and stay focused on what He is doing. Personally, I do not care how the End Time plays out; as long as me and Jesus are there. So, consider the words of Joel 2:23-29, Isaiah 43:18-19, Hosea 6:1-3, Ezekiel 1:1-28, Revelations 4:1-2 and others. All of these seem to reveal something about this End Time Outpouring and the transforming of one age to the next. But what happens during this time frame? Well, keep watching for more segments of End Time Truth. I am looking for a catching away, but not before I experience an Awakening or what some call an end time revival. It is time for us to get hungry for more truth. But the question is; are you ready for whatever comes next? Keep watching for my articles relating to End Time Truth; it will set you free. …Think about it!

NOT OF THE COOKIE CUTTER VARIETY Back in the days when school nurses were allowed to freely dispense aspirin there was a nurse noted for providing aspirin to all her students, regardless of the uniqueness of their symptoms or injuries. If a student had a cough, an injury that required stitches, a sprain, a fever, whatever, Mrs. Aspirin (the students’ nickname for her) always tendered the same treatment followed by the same instructions, “Take this aspirin and go back to class.” Obviously, Mrs. Aspirin’s medical assessments and treatment plans were less than credible, even indicative of

cutter approach to medical issues is less than credible, the incompetent approach. Yet, when it comes to the topic of Christians seeking and experiencing revival and growth we are sometimes like Mrs. Aspirin in that we offer each person or church the same spiritual assessment and treatment plan. However, that is not what Jesus did in Revelation 2:1-3:22. In His letters to the seven churches Jesus dealt with each of the churches according to their uniqueness, offering them varying commendations, criticisms, instructions and

by: Dan Corse medical incompetency. We recognize that is true because we understand that a cookie

promises. For example, He commended the church in Ephesus for rejecting evil, their

perseverance and patience. However, He criticized them by noting that their love for Him was no longer fervent. He instructed them to overcome, promising them by doing so they would “eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God” (Rev. 2:7). With the church in Sardis He commended some for keeping the faith, criticized it for being

a dead church, and gave instructions to repent and strengthen what remained, promising the faithful that they would “be clothed in white garments” and not have their names blotted out of “the Book of Life” (Rev. 3:5). Clearly, Jesus in recognizing the uniqueness of the seven churches understood the need to offer each church commendations, criticisms, instructions and promises that specifically focused on the characteristics of that church alone. He understood that churches, as do individual Christians, have varying strengths and weaknesses, necessitating assessments and treatments specific to each church or individual that they may experience needed revival and growth. He understood that revival and growth should not be of the cookie cutter sort. Cookie cutters are great for producing a stack of cookies that all look the same, but when it comes to revival and growth they are inappropriate tools. They are inappropriate in that Christ’s vision for each Christian or church is not exactly the same. That is not to say that individuals and churches will not have similarities. For example, spreading the gospel and growth in grace should be a focus of all Christians and churches. Yet, in terms of

individual Christians and churches it is obvious that the unique gifting God brings to each of them is associated with God’s specific vision for them. Likewise, when the focus is on revival or growth, it is necessary that each individual or church is considered in light of its own uniqueness. Related to uniqueness and weaknesses, some individuals and churches embrace the errant view that the gifts of the Spirit listed in 1 Corinthians 12:8-10 are no longer for today. Some are quite weak in their focus on Christ. Others appropriately focus on the importance of God’s word but then embrace legalism, that which generally occurs when rules are the habitual focus. Some offer an unscriptural view of God’s love that generally forgets the truth of 1 Corinthians 13:6, that love “does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth.” Others have no understanding of the concept of justification, the fact that Christ becoming sin for us made it possible for we who embrace Him as Savior to receive His righteousness, His right standing or relationship with the Father (2 Cor. 5:21). That being so, they continually live under condemnation, believing God views them as worms and creations worthy of His continual wrath rather than His

forgiveness and continual love. Some emphasize grace in a manner that seems to forget the truth of Titus 2:11-12, “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age.” Some have conformed to ungodly ideologies, philosophies and manners of thinking rather than conforming to the truth of God’s word. Just like individuals and churches are unique in their weaknesses, so are they unique in their strengths. Some rightly focus on the necessity of the lost coming to know Christ as Savior. Others appropriately focus on the necessity of Christian growth and maturity. Still others correctly identify and emphasize the necessity of the Holy Spirit’s ministry. Others rightly encourage we believers to lay aside the weights and sins that so easily ensnare us, running with endurance the race before us, “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith” (Heb. 12:2). Clearly, it is apparent that individual Christians and churches have unique strengths and weaknesses. That being so, it is imperative as we prepare for revival and growth that we encourage individuals and

churches to allow the Holy Spirit to reveal to them their unique strengths, thus allowing for whatever growth is needed related to those areas. And it is necessary that we allow the Holy Spirit to reveal to us our weaknesses, including those areas where we continually stumble, that we might experience the grace to overcome them. What is not needed is a cookie cutter approach to revival and growth, one that finds us trying to all fit into the same mold, even when that mold due to its inflexibility proves to be more of a hindrance than a help. God understands our uniqueness as individuals and churches. That should not be surprising being that uniqueness is in so many ways attributable to Him. Rather than focusing on comparing ourselves and our churches to others, which is not wise (2 Cor. 10:12), let’s focus on allowing God to show us what we need to know as individuals and individual churches preparing for and participating in revival. Let’s focus on revival not of the cookie cutter variety.

Are you looking for a great catching away, or are you doing what God wants you to do today?

“Revival”, according to Webster: : a period in which something becomes popular again after a long period of time : the growth of something or an increase in the activity of something after a long period of no growth or activity : the showing of a play, a movie, etc., to the public usually many years after it was last shown : a new production of an old show Revive us again, Fill each heart with Thy love. May each soul be rekindled. With fire from above. Refrain Hallelujah! Thine the glory. Hallelujah! Amen. Hallelujah! Thine the glory. Revive us again. What does the word “Revival” mean to you? Does it conjure up memories of hot, sultry nights under a tent, sawdust floor,

creaky wooden folding chairs, swinging electric lights with moths dancing around the out of tune upright and the sweaty, Bible thumping evangelist? Prayer lines? Witnessing mighty works of the Holy Spirit of healings, deliverance, and salvation? Is it listening to the adults planning the “spring revival,” or the “fall revival?” Preparing for Evangelist So-and-So with the dramatic “God voice” booming out above the congregation’s head? Song after glorious song and chorus after wonderful chorus? Was it the contest to see which family could bring the most visitors? Remember Mom and the other church ladies preparing a feast of goodies for the “afterglow?” Watermelon and ice cream socials, the smell of coffee wafting through the building to the sanctuary with its exquisite “come hither” scent in the middle of the service?

Webster does not say it best; read these words from a modern day chorus: “Fill my cup, Lord I lift it up, Lord Come and quench this thirsting of my soul. Bread of Heaven, fill me till I want no more. Here’s my cup, fill it up, and make me whole.” My childhood pastor didn’t want to sing “till I want no more” because that put the limit on how much of the Holy Spirit’s anointing we could get, so he had us sing “till I overflow.” Now that, to me, is revival. When the cares of this world do exactly what the Apostle Paul said in Mark 4:19, “And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the Word, and it becometh unfruitful”. Isn’t that what happens to us almost unconsciously? We are so caught up in survival, getting ahead, world affairs, worries about war, frustrations about politics, the latest celebrity/political scandal, etc. that we forget we are not of this world; and its cares should not be our focus. It puts out the fire the Holy Spirit placed in our hearts for the Gospel. The Message says in Romans 12:1-2, “So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life--your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-

around life--and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don't become so well-adjusted to the culture you live in that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.” So what is revival? Once a season? Once a year? A planned and orchestrated event? No! Real revival is an everyday occurrence! focusing on the precious Holy Spirit’s direction for that day is so important. HE will “revive” us every day, for that day. Otherwise……it’s just fumes. Oh, family, we all see the signs of the finality of this age, of this present world. Let’s make a commitment to have daily revival and be fresh and ready for whatever our assignment is, bring in that final harvest, and be ready to fly!

Revival is a community saturated with God.

by: Pastor Jimmie Lewis How many revivals have we heard about over the years? As I was growing up, we had many revival services and saw many lives changed. But it seemed to me that they did not last that long, they just stirred us up for a while. It was like bringing us back to our starting point, but they never seemed to advance us beyond where we were the last time they came to town. It was always a new presentation of an earlier play, but it stirred us up with some vigor to get our lives back on the right road. They, the revivals, caused us to remember some of the things that we had forgotten; things like our Joy, our Peace, and our Right Standing with the Lord Jesus, and our relationship with and in Him where we had begun to get cold. So every year, we would get an Evangelist to come to the church and stir us once again and get us back on track. Will we continue the need of a revival to stir us? I thought he only time we needed to revive something was when it was dead. The body of Christ does not die and that life (Zoe life, or God life) lives within you and I. Jesus said, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (St John 10:10) Remember Paul said in Galatians 2:20, “20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of

God, who loved me, and gave himself (as or instead) for me.” Romans 8:11 says, “11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from (Ek. In greek; out from) the dead dwell (or finds a home), in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by (because) his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” And what about 1 John 5:12 which says, “12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” One r eason we have to be revived all the time is the fact that we live from the outside in, instead of from the inside out. We need to live

out of our spiritual resources. Psalm 87:7, the last part says, “All my springs (my sources of life, my well of satisfaction) are in thee.” In 1 Samuel 30:6 it says, “6 And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David “encouraged” himself in the LORD his God.”, This is another time when people that are distressed, grieved, weary, or burned out, need some reviving. But here is what David did, and sometimes we need to do just that also, and that is “encouraged” which means; to fasten upon, to seize, or fortify, or be strong!

day) there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes.” With a lot of men, and ministry thinking they are all “right” in their own eyes. Then again in Proverbs 16:25 it says, “25 There is a way that seems “right” unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” It did not say it seems wrong to man. Proverbs 12:15 says, “15 The way of a fool is “right” in his own eyes: but he that hearkens unto counsel is wise.” If we listen to wise counsel, there would be no famine in the land.

Daniel 11:32 says, “32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt (or cause to disassemble) by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” How many times have we heard this, “let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’” All that I am trying to say here is to keep focused on Him (Jesus) and what the Word says. He is the strong one, and where is He living? He is living within you and me. Here are some words in the Bible that I like, and I am sure you do as well. Quicken, recover, repair, restore, and of course our word, “Revival.” And what about the word “Reforming?” We need this in our character, conduct, our walk, and the way we live, the way we talk, and the way we think; we need to “repent” (change the way we think.) If we think revivals were great, and they were, but as all of us have noticed, they are not working like they did, and I know there are reasons for that. I also know that people are not hungry, nor are they thirsty, they are satisfied with the normal, be weird, go after the supernatural. Here is one of the things that happen when people find no kind in the land. A lot of people think God is on vacation somewhere, and are not sure if He will return. This is what happened in Judges 21:25 which says, “25 In those days (it’s a lot like this

Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord IS my shepherd, I shall not want (or lack.) Remember, Jesus is still here with us, he will never leave us or forsake us. St. John 1:12 says, “12 But as many as received him, to them gave He power (authority) to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” In 11 Kings 6:25 it says, “25 There was already a famine in Samaria. Aram’s king surrounded Samaria for so long that, within Samaria, a donkey head cost two pounds of silver and two cups of dove’s dung cost two ounces of silver.” Men and women have gotten so comfortable they have settled for a donkey head and dove’s dung. These represent human wisdom without God and the futile longing for yesterday’s revival. All that

is left of the Dove after He (the Holy Spirit) has flown away. In our hunger, we are crying for more than revival. We must have reformation! The young prodigal in the pig pen had nothing to eat except yesterday’s leftovers – religious tradition. We must stop singing songs and choruses about where the Dove of God’s Spirit used to be. The sound of the turtle is heard in our land, do you hear it calling us away into that thing that God has chosen for us to live in? The cloud has moved! We need “reformation” more than anything else. Please understand I am in no wise saying revival has not been good, and they have worked and moved nations of the earth and changed people’s lives for the better, but we cannot live those days over. There is something right now as I share this that is here right now! Isaiah 43:18 says, “Remember (this means not to live it over and over and over again) not the former things, nor consider the things of old.” This is what has happened to many, and because of that they are stuck where they are. But a New Day is upon us, NOW it shall spring forth, shall ye not know it? David could not wear Saul’s armor, neither can we, and if we try it’s to no avail. Look at the following scriptures: 1. Psalm 119:25: “ My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word.” 2. Psalm 119:37: “Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way.” 3. Psalm 119:40: “ Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.” 4. Psalm 119:88: “Quicken me after thy lovingkindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.”

5. Psalm 119:107: “I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy word.” In these verses, David used the word “quicken” five times. Isaiah 61:4 says, “4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall “repair” the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.” Again I say “Revival” is good, but I tell you the truth, there is something so much better in the air right now! If we hold on to the past it will cripple our future. There must be something greater, and it is called “reformation” for lack of a better word. And it happens in the feast of Tabernacles. We need to run and tell the household the GOOD NEWS! Psalm 89:15 says, “15 Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.” I would like to end with this quote from a good friend of mine, Dan Corse, in the article, New Creations Revealing His Glory, in Revival and Awakening. “The Spiritual change must concentrate upon the three R’s of Revival and Awakening, Refocusing, Reforming and Restoring. These are the things that those who are spiritually hungering for are crying.” There must be more to come. 2 Thessalonians 1:10 says, “10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.” The church needs to arise in this day as never before. Don’t be insecure, or quiet anymore! You have a voice, USE IT! Amos 6:1 says, “Woe to them that are at ease in Zion!” I don’t want what I had. I want what I never had before. We have not passed this way before!

SO MUCH MORE! by: Pastor Kim Miller Many Christians go about life pretty much the same way that unbelievers do. They have accepted Jesus into their lives, but they have allowed worldly thinking and behaviors to become a part of their lives. They think like the rest of the world and act like them, too. Notice how I said that they "act" like the rest of the world. I used the word "act" because that isn't really who a Christian is. We are new creations, but many have not learned how to live on the outside, the new creation that they are on the inside. There is little difference that can be seen between them and unbelievers. They may go to church and say, "Praise the Lord, at times, but there is so much more! Throughout the years, I have seen many Christians get

excited about a "revival" that they were going to. Sadly, after that church meeting, or series of meetings were over, life goes on as usual for them. Revival really isn't a church meeting. Some church meetings are advertised that way, and revival definitely can happen during a church meeting. Revival isn't a feeling of excitement, or even falling down when a person is prayed for. Revival starts in us. It is yielding to the Spirit of God and His word, allowing Him to makes changes on the inside of us. It is submitting to the dealings of God and applying His word, so that there is LASTING change in us and our lives. Revival doesn't stop in us, or in the church building. True revival will continue outside and

affect those around us. People will be healed, saved, and delivered through us. Through you‌yes, YOU! This isn't just for the preacher! Do not allow fear or unbelief to hold you back. God anointed Jesus with the Holy Ghost and power. He went about doing good and healing all those who were oppressed by the devil. The Spirit of the

Lord is in you and this world cries out for the sons and daughters of God to rise up! We will be doing the works of Jesus and living a life of holiness. Holiness isn't not wearing make-up, or not having a certain hairstyle. It isn't a bunch of rules and regulations. It’s not a bad word. Hebrews 12:14 says that without it, no man will see the Lord. Holiness is being conformed to His image. We are on this Earth for a

purpose. We are lights in this world. Philippians 2:15 so that you may become blameless and pure children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world. The next verse goes on to say, hold fast to the word of life. We must decide to feed on God's word, and stay in fellowship and obedience to Him. These are things we must do daily. We are to allow the Holy Spirit to revive

us. Do not harden your heart at His word, or become offended when you are corrected. There is life in His word. His word will change your life, and the lives of those around you, if you let it! Decide that today, you will recommit your life to the Lord. Even if you feel like you are not struggling with a particular area of sin, you need to experience revival. We all can use "less of us and more of Him" manifested in our lives. There is so much more! Begin to experience it today!

REVIVING OUR SOULS: by: Nick Schneider

Essential to Continued Spiritual Growth

Revival! We hear revival a lot around our churches. Some churches still hoist up outdoor tents and stage weeklong revival services with the hopes of lighting the spiritual fires among its members. What is revival and what can we really expect? According to MerriamWebster Computer Dictionary, revival simply means "a state of being revived, a renewed interest or attention to something, or restoration of force, validity or effect." Psalm 85:6-9 (NIV) talks about revival. It reads: “Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you? Show us your unfailing love, Lord, and grant us your salvation. I will

listen to what God the Lord says; he promises peace to his people, his faithful servants — but let them not turn to folly. Surely his salvation is near those who fear him that his glory may dwell in our land.

Revival is a time of cleansing, awakening, repentance, commitment, personal searching and joy. We should be glad and thankful that God revives us, charges us, and inspires us. Since the early centuries Christianity has known movements that have intensified religious life. The aim of such movements has often been to regain the simplicity and zeal of the church of New Testament days, or to restore some lost or neglected aspect of primitive church life. These revival movements reflect a desire to renew the Christian

community, to bring to it new life and vigor. The Bible tells us that one of the highest, ultimate goals that God has in store for each one of us is our transformation in Him – and this transformation is accomplished by the renewing of our mind. The Bible says that God wants to sanctify us and transform us into the express image of His Son Jesus Christ. He wants to make us into a better and more holy

people, both on the inside and the outside. Consider what Paul wrote in Romans 12:1-2 (NIV), “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God — this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will.” How often do we find ourselves disappointed? We have such high hopes and good intentions, but we find ourselves weary and burned out with self-defeat, the burdens of everyday living, or the consequences of bad choices and sinful actions. We can be left feeling exhausted, not only physically, but spiritually. If only we could start over. Isn't that where renewal and personal revival begins?

We can find a place where our soul is refreshed and our lives revived. God promises us His abundance. He has given us the Spirit "of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." We have been "set free from the law of sin and death" and, "we are more are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” Let us realize that we are never beyond the reach of God if our heart is ready to change and accept this renewal that only the Holy Spirit can bring. Let us cry out in the words of Psalm 51:10, (Amplified) “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right, persevering, and steadfast spirit within me.” Revival is about prayer and having a burden for the lost, the prodigals who have drifted away and the church washing itself in a bath of praise and worship. In a true revival, Christians are brought under conviction and will turn from sin. In

revival, Christians have their faith renewed and become more equipped to serve their communities in the works of God –– saving souls, feeding the hungry, clothing those in need, giving hope to the hopeless. We get good instruction about revival in 2 Chronicles 7:14-15 (Amplified Bible), which reads: “If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer offered in this place.” That should make us all shout 'Amen!' There's a 2003 song by Rob Smith called “Revive Us” that speaks perfectly about what our prayer should be as we approach this revival. Let's listen, enjoy and start on road to real revival. http://us.emumusic.com/revi ve-us

GET EXCITED, AGAIN! by: Briana Bishop Remember when you asked Jesus to be the Lord of your life? Do you remember how exciting it was? The feeling of excitement was overwhelming, knowing that there's someone out there that loves you with an unfailing, unconditional, indescribable love; a kind of love that is so passionate that He gave His own life to save yours. The NIV of John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.” Not only that, but anyone that becomes a child of God and lives out His Word will be living Heaven on this Earth. That was definitely something to get excited about and it still very much is! As time goes on though, for some it seems to get less exciting. Teenagers especially get more excited about the newest movie coming out this fall, or the latest issue of that teen magazine, or how about that new album by that hot new singer that is coming out the end of this month? While God does wants us to enjoy our life on this Earth, He doesn't want these things to be

more of a priority than Him. If you are more excited about earthly things than God, you are making “fill in the blank” your god, and you need to change your priorities. The EJV of Exodus 20:3 says, “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” Besides, these things on earth are only temporary, while the things of God have to do with eternity. Our purpose on this Earth is to spread the Gospel and serve Him with our whole Heart. The GOD'S WORD Translation of Mark 16:15 says, “Then Jesus said to them,” So wherever you go in the world, tell everyone the good news.” The ESV of 1 Samuel 12:24 says, “Only fear the LORD and serve him faithfully with all

your heart. For consider what great things He has done for you. As time goes on for some people the excitement wears off enough to start being passive about the things of God, they start living like the way they did before they accepted Jesus as Savior. Some of these people even turn their backs on God completely and decide that they no longer want Him in their lives. When you are feeling less and less excited about God you need to remember that He never gets any less excited about you, His excitement for you never wears off. Sometimes we need to make a choice, a decision to become more and more excited about the things of God.

You will again begin to get more excited about God by remembering who your first love is, remembering how passionate He is for you, and all the beyond wonderful and indescribable things He has done for you. It takes a decision every single day to put Him first in your life. It takes discipline to go to church, to read your Bible and pray every day. When we decide to put Him first in our lives we will then get more excited about Him. Make the decision to become excited again about God, for His excitement for you is beyond overwhelming. Remember to make Him your number one priority because He has made you His number one priority

By: John Hopson “Come let us reason together” are words that God spoke concerning man. Concerning the vastness of the universe, we find that a lot can be said when considering the Hubble Telescope and the advancements in exploration. That vastness doesn’t exactly give man a feeling of having a grip on an existence in life and the physical realm. Mankind experiences a very unique privilege. Since we are made in the image of God. But because of our own depleted state, which is no doubt from our own doing, and from the original sin, being made in the image of God is something we do not have much of a grip on either. Consider Moses when he came down from the mount and for about a month the Bible says his head shown. God’s glory and God’s wonderful vastness is so great that even though Moses stepped away from His very presence, the majesty and the glory of God did not wear off immediately. How wonderful! Can we gather strength personally, courage, comfort, reassurance when considering the vastness of God’s creation? His Word says so. If you can’t look around now days considering all our science, our meager understanding of the depth of DNA, the microscopic world, the deep space galaxies discovered when a two week exposure was made with the Hubble Telescope in a place that was considered to be empty and black but it came back with hundreds of thousands of more galaxies in the picture. I hope we can

gather strength from knowing just how big God is. There is no reason we should not except for the fact that we are always looking down instead of up, as a natural reflex anyway. It seems that man is barely even able to be taught to look up, to truly look up and try to find the presence of our creator and be close to Him. Let’s start by thinking about what I mean by the vastness of God’s creation. Consider the speed of light as measured by science; which is 186,000 miles a second. And galaxies can take hundreds of thousands of years at that speed to go from one end to the other. Then, add the thought that there are more galaxies in the universe that we can tell anyway, than there are grains of sand on all the beaches of the world. And yet all of this, God holds in His hands. Is God worth it? Worth making the right choice when there is a choice? Is God worth turning your back on all the false heathen religions floating in the world today? And there is no use in naming them. There was

only one God that parted the Red Sea, that felled the walls of Jericho, that licked up Elijah’s sacrifice, accelerated Elijah to outrun the chariots, that stopped the sun in the sky for Joshua, that sent His only son to die on the cross so that man could have a way to reach the Lord. To be right with God again, so that when God looks at a man who has got the blood of Jesus on his soul, it is like looking at His Father. When God looks at man, he only sees the blood on the doorpost as in the time of the Passover. God sees that blood, and sees the righteousness of Jesus when He looks at a man who has accepted Christ. Is God worth it? The vigors of daily life and the worries, and concerns, and uncertainties, often distract us and keep us from thinking about what really counts; the presence of God in our lives, the gift of eternal life, and the way that God’s Word is never broken…ever. The reason why we need revival is to keep us from being lost at all the concerns of life. God’s Word is like a vessel or a bowl (if you will), and it has to always be good or the water of life it contains would leak out and be wasted. I encourage all the readers to adopt something my family has been doing for years now. We pray what we call the unknown prayer during our morning devotionals. The unknown prayer is a prayer that acknowledges that God knows more, loves more, and is more than man could ever be, and that we never want one single second ever go by where He is not fully invited in our lives whether we are aware of it or not. And quite often we are not aware of it when God is moving on our

behalf, and in life, so we pray the unknown prayer because we want the invitation to always be fresh and active for God to be in our lives at all times. I recall in the Bible where Gabriel had to fight through satan’s forces to reach a man here on earth. Man has fallen; the curse is real that we have had on us since the garden. And God’s Word, like the vessel that does not leak the water out, never fails. The water of life is the treasure. Yet many think the world is normal and natural. It takes a person with some spiritual depth and some living and experience in life to really begin to understand that things are not normal and natural and all things are not equal. Even if a person was not spiritual; but was just objective and looked at His existence on this planet mathematically, one could see that there is a terrible imbalance. There are things that just do not add up. Look at the law of probability. If you flip a quarter one-hundred times, you will get close to, equal amounts of heads and tails. It will be a little bit this way, and a little bit that way, but it will average out pretty close to half and half. I’ve tried it. You are welcome to try it for yourself. It is an interesting experiment. But our life here on this earth is not like that. Take diseases and disorders and sicknesses. All things being equal, some of the disorders would make us stronger, healthier, and live longer. But sometimes things happen to man that are negative and tears them down, moving them

closer to death, physical death anyway. It is sort of like saying “yeah, Brother John over there, he caught that virus that caused the arteries in his heart work better.” I’m sure we are not going to read that in a medical journal! Science tells us we only use 10% of our brain. Tell me that is equal. And man can be so pettish because of our lacking, especially looking at how we judge and treat one another over things like color of skin, and in the way we talk or dress. Sometimes it makes you wonder why God loves us so much that He would do so much for us. God’s Word says, “Since He is not willing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to the understanding of the truth and be saved.” (1Timothy 2:4.) He does not want anyone to be lost. Yet He said He had to move hell for our coming. (Isaiah 14:9). Why would He move hell for our coming if everything was written in stone, you might ask. Well, when God created “free will” he legitimately created “free will.” It was not a joke. Think about the verse in Matthew 24:20 that says, “Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath.” Things are not written in stone. God said if man would repent and return to the Lord He would heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14) He did not say that because it was impossible.

about men and women, but he sure hates God. Why? Because he knows his goose is cooked! And he knows how much God loves us! Satan’s hatred for us is a testimony of God’s love, because he wants to hurt us so he can get back at God. He wants to hold man hostage through his own petty lusts and sinful nature. Anything to hurt God. No one can truly wrap their heart or mind around that sort of thing nor should they try. We should concentrate on loving God. I suggest that if you are not a person who is saved and believes, then you should start the journey one step at a time. Have you ever heard the analogy about putting a penny in a jar, and the next day putting 2 pennies, and the next day putting 4 pennies, and the next day putting 8 pennies, and then within a month you are a millionaire! Asking God for salvation and for help to turn and become His child requires you to learn more. It is not that hard! Just like the pennies in the jar, learn a little at a time. Pray and read. Pray and read. What have you got to lose? Eternal damnation. What have you got to gain? Eternal life!

Does America have to turn from the judgments of the Supreme Court and liberal society and make marriage between a man and a woman again? Are they going to stop killing babies one flinching limb at a time in the womb? Why does God love us so much?

Yes, we live in a world where all things are not equal, but it is not going to be that way forever. There is a one-world government coming, and it is governed by the Lord Jesus Himself! His throne will be in Jerusalem. What a wonderful world that will be!

We are made in His image. And Jesus being His only begotten actual son, He loves Jesus so much, and us as humans being made in His image, He loves us so much.

Study prophecy and find out what is going to happen between now and then. Be prepared. Be the priest in your house, or the priestess. Is God worth it? Is revival necessary? Do we need it? I say yes.

And on the flip side of the coin, why does satan hate us so much? Not that we have all the answers, but I believe only God has all the answers. Satan does not really think that much

CALLING FOR

REVIVAL !

by: Leon Gosiewski

When we look at the history of how Revivals started, from the Old Testament through to today, we discover a common theme. We discover that a person or small group of people were the cause of the spark that ignited a Holy inferno.

Someone somewhere was willing to pay the price of total commitment. Someone somewhere was unwilling to sit back and allow a spiritually impotent or dead life to rule them. Someone somewhere saw that the life they were living and experiencing did not match what God says and promises through His Word. Someone somewhere came to a point of determination in their own mind to implore God to revive their spirit and do whatever it takes and whatever it costs to walk in His Holy power. The fact is this, if we want to prayerfully call down Revival

from heaven it will cost our life to the point where Paul said, ‘My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me’ (Galatians 2: 20). You see, kingdom principles work on this basis: the more we submit to God the more He, through the Spirit can do in and through us.

Revival will also cost time in earnest prayer as we humbly and openly plead with God for His will to find fulfilment and be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Yet there is nothing in any of this that isn’t part of what the normal everyday Christian walk should always be! The strange thing about Revival is that we have come to

understand it as something unusual and extraordinary. Indeed in its worldly impact this is exactly what it is – the power of Heaven touching earth. But actually for the Christian believer it should have been the standard that they live of expectant supernatural power, signs, miracles and healings. Tragically most believers do not walk in God’s intended power because they are not pure martyred vessels who have died to their old spirit,

Most of the preaching and teaching messages we hear today sell us woefully spiritually short because they find their root in the smooth oratory gifting and intellectual wisdom of men and not the anointed power of God. This leads us to where the church finds itself today; with little more than head knowledge and an intellectual faith.

soul and body. The seasoning salt that every true believer should have has little flavour or preservative influence, and the light of the kingdom within us is dim and indistinguishable from the rest of the world (see Matthew 5: 13 – 16). We are living in sinfully depraved and ever increasing blackening days coupled with an ever-growing falling away of believers from God. The hard truth is that we are ineffective because love, holiness and spiritual integrity in the church has given way to worldly acceptance of sin, kingdom apathy and false salvation security where we think we can engage in worldly pursuits and sins because we are ok. If Jesus comes when we are partaking in these things do we really think He will take us with Him? This is why we must wake up and as Peter said, ‘be

zealous to be found by him without spot or blemish’ (2 Peter 3: 14). Jesus is coming for those who are fully yielded and eagerly seeking Him.

Intellectual faith is not true faith. It is misguided, spiritually damaging and powerless. We must re-ignite daily encounters with God; we must expect to meet with Him. This is necessary because 'the kingdom of God does not consist in words but in power' (1 Corinthians 4: 20).

Where has our zeal gone? Where are the tears of When preaching and teaching repentance? Where is our of the Word is mixed with the hunger and thirst for the Lord? Where is our love for God? Where is our anguish? These are the hallmarks of Leon is available to speak, true believers, supernatural sign books at conferences, life partakers and Revival and hold healing meetings. soul winners. You can reach him at: Revival should always be the heart longing of believers and yet many Christians do not long for it. Many do not beckon Revival and the return of Jesus because they are comfortable as they are or they become lulled by soft, ‘all is well’, feel-good ineffective preaching.

Spirit of power our faith is firmly built on Kingdom revelation and heart understanding. We are gloriously set free to walk in daily supernatural and Revival power and to live life abundantly. Preaching and teaching that is not supported by the demonstrable power of the Holy Spirit leaves us wide open to the stealth and cunning of false and misguided wisdom and instruction of satan and men.

A faith that is strongly built on Kingdom power stands firm in the power foundation of God. It preserves us from the deceptive evil that surrounds us and it is unshakeable. Words spoken without the supporting demonstration of power are not kingdom reinforced. That is why we must seek the Holy Spirit and let nothing come between us and Him. In 2011 I added this prophecy to one of my publications, ‘There is coming a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

We are at the brink of this latter-day rain that will outstretch all other Revivals. It will be worldwide and based upon the Word of God, dedication to prayer, the power of the Holy Spirit and love’. Due to its importance I make no apology for including this prophecy in last month’s magazine issue and again now. If we are going to call for and become a part of this mighty Revival move of the Holy Spirit sin must go and we must truly love one another and walk with God and each other in unity.

By: Chef Leo Griego When the Natural and Supernatural meet... and what happens is an explosion of God's Power, Grace, and Love that is expressed by the body of Christ in our calling out to God, His hearing, Jesus interceding and the Holy Spirit Moving! Like Heaven meets earth As a Cook I was thinking of this theme REVIVAL and what would a Recipe for Revival would be. Now oddly Godly this is not a new concept! I read quite a few “recipes” and let them digest in my heart and mind. I can only thank God for the multitude of writers inspired to do such a recipe and for all the little tidbits of each that fill this...recipe... As a musician who loves Bluegrass music as I was waiting on the Lord what came to mind was a favorite song called Revival by the group ...New Grass Revival! What a coincidence ;). I really enjoy the lyrics and sentiment...as we all get older we get more tired, as we are engaged battle with the darkness and principalities in this world we tire...and as the songwriter states to “I am going to take these feelings and put them in this song...Right Now!” We all know Psalmists put their hearts on the scrolls...for a relationship

with God is not all ink and paper (or papyrus) ...Its a new song of Revival. Paul tells us of our physical “tents” that are wearing out, or at the very least wearing thin! And in our Spirit Person we also weaken occasionally experiencing battle fatigue and damage. We then need Rest, Recovery, Rehab, in short we need Revival! If we have been seeming half beaten to death we need to be brought back to life. Many years ago the Lord

put this into my vocabulary and since than I have always said “ Before we can have Revival...we need to have...”Vival” The RE in revival, resurgence, revitalization, redo, revisit, remodel, reconstruct, remake, and revivification... means “once again” Vival as in the root of vivification animation, activity, quicken, and Revive! Bring back to life or energize empower what is left there! That “Vival”is that new life when we are born again. Revival also refers to the Act, the meeting, Rally, and gathering where that experience can be magnified and shared...often becoming a beacon to the light of Jesus Christ shining in those of us in whom He lives. As a Recipe has Ingredients, and method/instructions I humbly present this.

REVIVAL, A Recipe YEILD: For 2 or more gathered in His Name INGREDIENTS: Please use Organic (From the Creator), Free Range (Made Free indeed by Jesus Christ), and pesticide/principality free (Cleansed by the Holy Spirit). Prep work: There is always prep to do. In this verse we find our “Mystery Basket” of ingredients. 2 Chronicles 7:14 NLT

Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. It's a great verse chock full of ingredients for us. 1st Ingredient: A sense of Belonging The first thing we see is deeply comforting to us. We are a needy people. We are a sinful people in need of a savior! We sin; We fall short and sometimes...We fail, but look at the personal note the verse starts out with. "And my people"! What a comfort! We are God's people! He is our Father. He is our God. David says in Psalm. 23, "the LORD is my shepherd." What a comfort... We belong to God! Because He Loves us.... 2nd ingredient: A sense of Identity Reading on we read “who are called by my name” Wow Jesus has told used the phrase time and again...”In my name” We are IN His name...Not only called Christians ( little Christs') ...The concept of God's name is very important in Scripture. It says we are called by God's name. There is ownership there. There is security and safety there. There is comfort there for us. There is another concept we need to see. God uses His name to relate with us and is concerned about the honor or dishonor of his name. “Tell them “I AM” sent you” His name is...our name we call ourselves. What an incentive for us to live careful, consistent, holy lives in order to bring honor to God's name...Our name...Amen? Doing all things “In His Name” 3rd ingredient: A sense of Humility The next phrase that jumps out is ”will Humble themselves”. One of the conditions for revival is humility. Humility is so important in

our lives. Humility is also very elusive. If we think we have it, we don't! Humility is related to meekness which speaks of one's life being perfectly controlled by God's grace, and that is power enough to attain such a goal. Another characteristic of humility is teachableness. The proud man thinks he knows it all. He can't learn because he doesn't think he needs to. The humble person is teachable. They realize their limitations. We must be willing to be taught. God can use us because we are teachable. How do we do? Are we teachable? 4th ingredient: Praying The next word is “pray”...enough said... it is that special quality time we spend when we exercise our faith muscles and are IN that relationship in communion, communication, and yeah consumption...we we consume the food and drink the Jesus is. We walk, talk, and breathe each other in...Interceding, Abiding and Being in Love…Actively being believers...Pray for revival. 5th ingredient: Seeking While prepping grab some “seek my face” ha ha now you may say “ How do we do that?” OK and this is just my personal take and insight but I believe worth sharing...OK we all know it is a “Love” thing...God is Love. Jesus, His expression of Love ...We are IN Love, having fallen and in that relationship that is described as the paradigm of the Bride and Groom. In that intimate relationship like the one many of us said “ I Do” too one would kiss their spouse...Amen? All I can ask is “ Have you ever kissed your spouse in the dark? At night? Invariably you reach out to find where you are going to kiss in that same process reaching out to the lover of your soul creator of your being...and even as those who kiss their parents Yes seeking reaching thirsting panting hungering,,,all words in the Bible expressing the passion of “seeking his face”...Reach out...

6th ingredient: Repenting Next up is the active phrase “turn from their wicked ways” We have to keep turning not like turning over a piece of meat being grilled, or an egg in a pan, but in our souls sense turn as in Repent...Turn around and head in the right direction...leave the wrong behind and go with the righteousness the right way...He will lead we follow. Revival is on the way! So take all your ingredients and mix them well carefully adding each one after carefully examining them...folding them together like you fold your hands in prayer...placing them carefully together...then lift them up to the Lord for completion. The Groovy thing about all this prep work is that once done Jesus does all the work...in fact He has already done the work...accomplished and finished the work His Father started at Genesis 1:1 at the Cross! And we go on from there the great CO-mission...and yes humans being that we are we do get tired...and nothing wrong with that All things in the physical wear out fall apart as our bodies do while waiting on the resurrection morning when union with Father Son and Holy Spirit commutes into eternity we can get a preview...Revival, not only a supernatural get together , but an earthly resurrection of purpose and power, providence and empowerment, restoration and recovery, healing and rehabilitation but also a glimpse of heaven on earth where the body is working together and doing His Will. Born Again New Creations doing the Word of God all those awesome miracles! Bring more New Creations into the family...…A place like heaven where a New Song is sung!, a New dish is prepared!...and the Wedding feast of the Lamb is where you want to be …Rock and Roll! Jesus is the Rock and we Roll! As the Glory Boys sing “ The Kingdom of God is a Party!” Yeah were going to have a Revival ...OH Yeah!

RECIPE OF THE MONTH Taught this APPLE GALETTE recipe to our students and Author: Pastry Chef/Instructor guests at the CCI annual Jim Krieg convention. A favorite for sure Recipe provided by: Chef Leo Griego I humbly alter Christian Chef’s International and the the recipe for home use. Christian Culinary Academy Revival is also about taking http://www.Christianchefs.org something old and restoring it bringing it to new life ( sounds familiar eh?) This classic French recipe is taught to honor and respect the classics and make it our New Creations...also like us ; This rustic classic French recipe continues on through these times and easy as pie! Well sort of because it is...sort of... you will love it! Ingredients 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon granulated sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup (1/4 lb.) plus 2 tablespoons cold butter 1 large egg yolk, lightly beaten 1/2 cup walnuts 2 pounds tart apples (3 to 5), such as Pink Lady or Granny Smith 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1 large egg, beaten to blend with 1 tablespoon water 1. In a large bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, and salt. Cut 1/2 cup butter into pieces and add to flour mixture; cut in with a pastry blender, or rub in with your fingers until mixture resembles coarse meal. While stirring with a fork after each addition), add egg yolk and 3 to 4 tablespoons cold water, 1 tablespoon at a time; process or stir just until mixture comes together in a ball. Form dough into a flat disk, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill until firm but still pliable, about 1 hour.

2. While chilling the dough, spread walnuts in a baking pan and bake in a 375째 oven until barely golden under skins, 6 to 8 minutes (leave oven on). Coarsely chop nuts. 3. Peel and core apples; cut each into eight wedges. In a 10- to 12-inch nonstick frying pan over medium heat, melt remaining 2 tablespoons butter. When it's foamy, add apples and stir often until slightly softened and brown at edges, 10 to 12 minutes. Sprinkle brown sugar and nutmeg over fruit and stir until liquid is syrupy and bubbling, about 5 minutes. Stir in walnuts. Remove from heat. 4. Unwrap dough. On a lightly floured surface, with a lightly floured rolling pin, roll into a round about 15 inches in diameter. Line a 12- by 15-inch baking sheet with cooking parchment (or butter the sheet pan well) and carefully transfer dough round to sheet (edges will hang over sheet). 5. Pour apple mixture onto center of pastry, mounding wedges in a circle about 8 inches wide and 2 inches high. Gently fold edges of dough over apples, pleating as you go, leaving an opening about 4 inches wide in the center. Brush pastry all over with beaten egg. 6. Bake in 375째 oven until pastry is golden brown and apples are tender when pierced, 40 to 45 minutes (35 to 40 in a convection oven). Transfer galette (with parchment, if using) to a wire rack to cool. Transfer to a large plate, gently pulling parchment from under tart. Serve slightly warm or at room temperature, cut into wedges.

By: Rev. Melissa Smith-Shepherd Many of our friends, fellow ministers and many others often talk about desiring to see REVIVAL in the church and restore the power of God to the services. Our hearts are seeking REVIVAL and we are hungry for the things of God. We love Him and His Word. We pray and ask God to show us how to bring REVIVAL to the people. We cry out for a move of the Holy Spirit. We want God to touch His people and fill them with His Holy Power and heal them of all of their ills. There is no lack of desire for Revival in the body of Christ. Yet with all of this desire, and seeking, and yearning for Revival, we have only seen sprinklings of this type of move of God in our nation and around the world. We hear of miracle meetings here and there, and often react as if it is a strange,

phenomenon. We have more teaching and understanding of the Word than any other generation since Christ, yet we attend church every week without seeing the fullness of God Present there. There are many wonderful churches, with a lot of good preaching, teaching, some occasional healings, and great worship, full of the Word, the people are loving and kind, they have charities for the poor, orphans and widows, disaster relief and programs for helping just about every kind of need, however it is but a sliver of what is available from our Almighty Magnificent Lord God. This revival we are all searching for is actually supposed to be the normal operation of every

church! We call it revival because we know it is missing and we want it back in the church!!! Many of God’s people are hurting, sick, and wandering around with no real direction. The church is supposed to be the Hands of God, bringing His help to this lost and dying world, but the believers have not fully obtained this great

Glory of God about which they profess. Many believers are weak and struggling, and are able to only give out the little oil that they have. We know that God is not lacking or withholding His oil or anointing from us, so if it is available freely, what is the answer to this mystery? What is necessary to open the heavens for God to pour out His Shekinah Presence and Glory? How do we obtain this REVIVAL we are seeking? What is the secret formula? Fasting, or praying and fasting? Or perhaps, studying the Word day and night? How about worship? Pleading the blood? Holiness? Jesus said, “Go and preach the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand, heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the leper, freely you have received, freely give.” Matthew 10:7-8 He also said that believers will lay hands on the sick and they will recover, they will cast out demons, and that serpents or deadly things would not harm them. Mark 16:17-18 He even said that we would do greater works than HE! John 14:12 It is clear that we have scriptural support for our desire to do great and mighty works in His name. So we have the desire for revival, the need for

revival, and the encouragement from Jesus himself to bring revival or the fullness of the manifestation of the Sons, and Daughters, of God. To help gain the understanding of what God truly desires for the church today, and how to bring back this needed revival, we have been studying the revivalists of modern days, like Evan Roberts, Maria Woodworth-Etter, William Seymour, Smith Wigglesworth, John G. Lake, Lester Sumrall, Kathryn Kuhlman and many others that have walked closely with Him and were able to bring forth the miraculous love and power of God to the earth’s inhabitants. We have studied revival and manifestations of the Presence of God in the Bible, the Gospels, the Book of Acts as well as the Epistles. We looked

also into the Old Testament for help in understanding the move of the Holy Spirit in the lives of the Kings, Prophets and Priests. We have found a common denominator in all of the powerful moves of God in the Earth. I believe it is this one key that each person must do that desires to bring the fullness of the manifestation of the Presence of God. This key, this same denominator, is obedience. Seek God for His instructions, and then OBEY them. It is this obedience that releases the faith and brings the anointing of the Lord. Elijah and the prophets knew this concept well, in fact, there were instances where if they did not obey specific instructions of the Lord, not only would His Will not be accomplished but some of the prophets died when they changed the plan or disobeyed God’s instructions. In the New Testament, we see the obedience of Jesus to the Father in EVERYTHING He did here. He said that He and the Father are one, and that He only did what He saw God do. He was in constant communication with God, and submitted to God’s plan. When the Disciples came together to minister to the Lord, they would then seek God, and ask Him to direct their plans and decisions. The Apostle Paul was

directed by the Holy Spirit NOT to preach in Asia Minor, but instead go to Macedonia in Greece. Paul saw great church growth, and miracles, as he obeyed God. Acts 16:6-10 There are many faith stories about men and women of God who were given instructions by God, and when they obeyed those instructions, and went where He said to go, and said what He said to say, or did what

He said to do, then the miraculous took place. I have been in a few church meetings where the Presence of God was so strong and there were manifestations and demonstrations of His Holy Spirit there, each one of the ministers in those meetings were consumed with obeying God, even in the smallest detail. God knows what He wants to do, and how He wants us to do it, and it is this humility

before Him that brings this great grace. Scripture tells us that He resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. James 4:6 Could it be that the simple act of humility to do what God wants done in a service, rather than man’s plans or program, be this key of obedience that brings the revival we have all been hoping for?

REVIVAL ON OUR DOORSTEP™ Turn On Your Light and Be A Light!™ TODAY, MANY CHILDREN know more about magic, ninjas, wizards, zombies, superheroes and witchcraft than they know about God’s love, God’s Word or the supernatural saving and healing power of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. IT IS TIME to raise up this "end time" generation of children born to know, love and follow Jesus! The spiritual desire and ability of children to receive Jesus is amazing. Jesus actually said adults must "become like little children trusting, lowly, loving, forgiving," or "you can never enter the Kingdom of Heaven at all." Matthew 18:3 YOU MAY BE ONE of the 84% of all adults over 45 years of age or one of millions of younger adults in over 90 million U.S. households planning to greet children with candy on the evening of October 31st. OVER 68 million children and 22 million parents will come to our doorsteps for candy … that is 93% of all children ages one through 17. Since a child will often visit 20-40 doorsteps that night, they will most likely walk up to a Christian doorstep like yours! We can share Jesus with them. When Jesus saw His followers trying to stop families from bringing their children to Him, He was indignant and pained and instructed His disciples, “Allow the children to come to Me, do not forbid or prevent or hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.” Mark 10:14 MY WIFE AND I made the decision that our heart’s focus would be sharing JESUS, not just candy, and we would lead children to receive Jesus in their hearts! Last year on Halloween evening, from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm we had a Revival On Our Doorstep! ™ We prayed with 58 children and 21 youth and adults to receive JESUS CHRIST in their hearts! We also gave them a Gospel tract and good candy! It was so heartwarming to see the children and parents smiling and even crying as the Lord touched them at our doorstep as we prayed with them. One mother asked us to pray for her 10year-old son who was at home very sick. This mom cried big tears as we prayed for her son and sweetly said, “Thank you for caring enough to pray.” As we watched her tears, we were reminded of what Jesus said, “Whoever in My name and for My sake accepts and receives and welcomes one such child also accepts and receives and welcomes Me and whoever so receives Me, receives not only Me, but also Him who sent Me.” Mark 9:37

IT IS TIME FOR CHRISTIANS to turn around the unholy secular holiday of Halloween and transform it into a Holy soul-winning revival for JESUS on our doorsteps! So, Turn On Your Light and Be A Light ™ and have Revival On Your Doorstep!™ THIS IS THE ONLY NATIONAL EVENT and night of the year when many children and adults voluntarily walk up to our doorsteps, under the covering of our Christian prayers and on our blessed property, ready to receive Jesus! We are Jesus’ representatives. We have every constitutional right to share Jesus on our own property! Paul said, “I have in short become all things to all men, that I might by all “MEANS” (Greek--“events”), at all costs and in any and every way, save some by winning them to faith in JESUS CHRIST.” I Corinthians 9:22 WHEN OVER 68 MILLION CHILDREN and 22 million parents who go out with them walk up to our doorsteps for candy that evening, we have a great opportunity to accept, receive and welcome children and adults in Jesus’ Name! PRAYING with children to receive Jesus on our doorsteps is such a joy. Children are so ready to receive Jesus! The children’s eagerness to pray would often influence their parents to join in with their prayers! TOGETHER WE WILL WIN the hearts of millions of children and parents to Jesus on our doorsteps! We have put together a free Home Harvest Packet to email to Christian homes. If you would like a free Home Harvest Packet, just email us at: revival@bsmin.org The packet will give you the gentle, loving and enthusiastic method we used to pray with children and parents, which may be used anytime of the year. Also, the free packet will have some common sense guidelines developed over the last six years to help make it easy and fun for you to invite children and adults to church, give them Gospel tracts and share Jesus with them on your doorstep. AGREE WITH MY WIFE and I in prayer that millions of Christian homes will lead millions of children to receive, love and follow JESUS! Please pray for this exciting new annual national event called: Revival On Our Doorstep!™ Turn On Your Light and Be A Light!™ IT IS TIME FOR Christians to turn around the unholy secular holiday of Halloween and transform it into a Holy soulwinning revival for JESUS on our doorsteps! IF YOU WOULD LIKE your free Home Harvest Packet or if you would like to help coordinate this national event in your area or at your church please email us: revival@bsmin.org WE LOVE YOU! Thank You for your prayers!
