CITY CLERK / DEPUTY CLERK ANNE BARKSDALE Meetings: Attended Management Team meeting; prepared for new council orientation; met with resident concerning city recycling proposal; attended city council meeting. Projects: Scheduled Judge Sams for swearing in of new council members; scheduled meeting date/location for HOA event; scheduled next Shred & Recycle Day for April 25 as part of the 2020 Georgia Cities Week in Fayetteville. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY KELVIN JOINER Work orders: 36 new; 32 closed. Projects: Continuing to work on a list of technology needs for the New City Hall building; working on new Police records management system (continued); new laptop for City Manager; upgraded City Hall APS; camera replacement at Police Department headquarters. Meetings: ICMA Leadership training; Zencity meeting; web site review meeting; meeting with police; met with Tony Whitley on new work order system.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BRIAN WISMER Economic Development: Phone meeting with Georgia Department of Transportation to discuss latest updates within the hospital-area trail project. Main Street: Removal and storage of downtown Christmas decorations; continued preparation of 2020 concert series; updated departmental info slides for new city council member orientation; prepared for annual strategic planning meeting. Downtown Development Authority: Reviewed engineering bids for Stonewall Avenue road diet project; continued legal discussions for downtown parking agreement; inspection at Train Depot for potential upgrades to meet current building code requirements.

POLICE DEPARTMENT SCOTT GRAY Projects: We have received four new police vehicles, and they are being equipped for use. Training: Four officers received advanced training this week at local police academies.
Reminder: The Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade and related ceremonies will be held on Monday, January 20, from 10 a.m. to until 1 p.m. in Downtown Fayetteville. Expect road delays on Highway 85, Highway 54 West, and Tiger Trail during this time.
FIRE DEPARTMENT ALAN JONES Training: Chiefs Keith Harris and Chris Peacock along with training Captain Steve Woodworth attended a one-day Insurance Safety Office (ISO) class on departmental evaluations at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in Forsyth. Meetings: Fire Chief Alan Jones attended orientation for new city council members; Chief Jones attended the HOA event prep meeting; Chief Jones attended the annual awards ceremony for the Police department; Chief Jones attended the Legislative Delegation breakfast at the Fayette Chamber of Commerce. Projects: Our department hosted a two-day training session for Insurance Safety Office employees that perform fire department evaluations; Engine 92 provided standby services for the annual Burning of the Greens at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church; Deputy Fire Chief Linda Black and Chief Chris Peacock continue to work on the Lexipol Project.

PUBLIC SERVICES CHRIS HINDMAN Public Works: Cleaned City Hall, Police Department and our Public Works/Distribution building; picked up lift truck used to take down Christmas decorations; city-wide trash run; took down all Christmas decorations on the light poles; trimmed trees and clean up inside and outside of amphitheater; assembled City Hall park benches; assisted Mainstreet with supplies; repaired a pothole on Jimmy Mayfield Boulevard, repaired right of way area on South Jeff Davis Drive; picked up supplies from the Fayette County Board of Education; cut and maintained roundabout at Grady Avenue and Beauregard Boulevard; pruned crape myrtles on West Lanier Avenue from Highway 85 to Tiger Trail; cut and Maintained right of way N Glynn Street in front of Broadway Diner; cleaned ditch line on Circle Drive. Sewer: Average daily flow treated is 2.238 million gallons per day; performed weekly maintenance at 26 lift stations sites; maintained wastewater plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements. Water: Average daily flow of 1.251 MG of system demand; repaired eight water leaks, Performed 11 water meter maintenance; maintained water plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements. HUMAN RESOURCES NELLA COOPER Personnel: We are continuing with the implementation of the Performance Management and Performance Appraisals platform on ClearCompany. The general Performance Appraisal evaluation questions have been input into ClearCompany. We will begin setting up the job-specific appraisal questions. We will begin setting up training for all users in ClearCompany for recruiting, onboarding, Performance Management, and appraisals. The premium deductions have been set up in payroll system for Plan Year January 1, 2020. Turn Over Report: There were no employees hired or terminated during the week of of January 6-12, 2020.
