INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY KELVIN JOINER Work orders: 68 new, 78 closed. Projects: Continuing to work on a list of technology needs for the new City Hall building; reviewing audio-visual plan for new City Hall; new Public Services computer installation; first courtroom cases since COVID-19 closures; continued documents retention. ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BRIAN WISMER Economic Development: Prepared Alcohol Ordinance revisions for July 2 City Council meeting review. Main Street: Held the monthly Main Street Tourism Association meeting; continued preparation and ticket processing for the 2020 concert series, which begins in July. Downtown Development Authority: n/a.

POLICE DEPARTMENT SCOTT GRAY ยก We are continuing to plan the upcoming Citizens Police Academy schedule. ยก We are working on a small two- or four-hour class to cover police use-of-

force within the next few months. This will be open to all, so watch our social media pages for the announcement. The class will deal with police use of force and when it is permissible under law.

ยก Two new patrol vehicles are being fitted with equipment and should be on

the road within the next two weeks.

FIRE DEPARTMENT ALAN JONES Events: Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician Brad Simpson has successfully completed apparatus operator training for Truck 9. Eleven sets of new bunker gear were issued. Completed apparatus routine preventative maintenance this week. Projects: Deputy Chief Linda Black attended various webinars throughout the week with Georgia Department of Public Health officials regarding COVID-19. Emergency Medial Services supplies were ordered. Daily cleaning and sanitizing of self-contained breathing apparatus continues. Division Chief Jeff Gable continues to update the COVID-19 Incident Action Plan. Chief Alan Jones and Chief Black attended the Capital Improvement Element annual update meeting. Chief Black attended the City Pension Committee meeting.

PUBLIC SERVICES DEPT. CHRIS HINDMAN Public Works: Cleaned City Hall and Police Department; cut and maintained Hood Avenue, inside and outside the amphitheater, Church Street Park, Patriot Park memorial section, medians on West Lanier Avenue from Grady to Meeting Place, sidewalk area for repair on Doe Hollow Trace, mulched the middle island on West Lanier Avenue in front of the fountain, trimmed middle island on West Lanier Avenue near Togwatee Boulevard, trimmed the Hood Avenue roundabout, Veterans Parkway, Lester Road, South Jeff Davis Drive to Mask Tire, Bradford Square, Grady Avenue, Beauregard Boulevard, Ramah Road, cart path, City Lakes, Winona curve, Dickson Springs Park, trash run at the Lane Brown Gazebo, and repaired the roadway at 220 Ridgewood Drive. Stormwater: Repaired sidewalk in Apple Orchard subdivision, 170 Highview Trace, Lakeland Circle, and Doe Hollow Trace. Sewer: Average daily flow treated was 2.27 million gallons per day; performed weekly maintenance at 26 lift station sites; maintained wastewater plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements. Water: Average daily flow of 1.73 million gallons of system demand; repaired eight water leaks; performed maintenance on 12 water meters; maintained water plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements. Utility Locates: 38

HUMAN RESOURCES DEPT. NELLA COOPER Personnel: Continuing with the implementation of the Performance Management and Performance Appraisals platform on ClearCompany; continuing to focus on COVID-19 and federal and state requirements relating to City employees; continuing to participate in various COVID-19 webcasts in order to remain in compliance; keeping spreadsheet updated for potential City employee pandemic cases; requesting proper leave forms to be completed by employees who are out of work due to COVID-19-related absences; working with Finance on Fixed Assets reports for accuracy; working with Pension Committee to enhance Pension Plan. Working on Pension Statement documents so we can have employee meetings to discuss new proposed plan changes. Turn Over Report: There was one termination and no new hires.
