INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY KELVIN JOINER Work orders: 57 new, 57 closed. Projects: Continuing to work on a list of technology needs for the new City Hall building; continued reviewing audio-visual plan for new City Hall; continued with documents retention program; set up new Dell desktop computers; VLAN project connecting IT to the Police building; trial run for probation office virtual hearings; Upgrade police department building cameras; culled and documented surplus computer hardware for auction; reviewed and responded to numerous City project e-mails. Meetings: Met with software vendor; met with Forsyth County CIO on MS365; participated in Finance & Administrative Services meeting with City Manager.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BRIAN WISMER Economic Development: Attended bid opening for Stonewall Avenue road diet project; attended Gym and Bus Barn design review meeting at Jefferson Browne Architects; reviewed status of current and planned departmental goals with City Manager. Main Street: Met with the Shriners to discuss bringing back the ChiliFest event to the Old Courthouse Square; staff attended the 9-11 Tribute event planning meeting; made final preparations for Craig Morgan concert; continued planning for the 8/21 Friday Night LIVE event; attended the Art & Architectural Advisory Committee meeting via video conference 8/5.

POLICE DEPARTMENT SCOTT GRAY ¡ We conducted the first Citizen and Police Use of Force class, which was a great success. We will be holding more of these classes in the future. ¡ We have opened up our Citizen Police Academy applications. FIRE DEPARTMENT ALAN JONES Events: Shift personnel performed walk-through of the new indoor storage facility Life Storage. Shift personnel completed “mayday” training. Fuel polishing completed on diesel fuel storage tank for Station 91 generator. Radio One installed antennae for new base radios at headquarters and all stations. Projects: Fire Chief Alan Jones and Deputy Chief Linda Black attended a meeting with the City Manager for an update on strategic operational plans. Chief Jones attended a meeting regarding CARES Act funding options. Chief Jones attended a meeting regarding a Wedgewood Drive stormwater issue in the Greenlea residential subdivision. Chief Black attended various webinars throughout the week with Georgia Department of Public Health officials and various other medical associations regarding COVID-19. Daily cleaning and sanitizing of selfcontained breathing apparatus continues. Division Chief Jeff Gable continues to update the COVID-19 Incident Action Plan. Division Chief Keith Harris worked on the upcoming lieutenants testing process.

PUBLIC SERVICES DEPT. CHRIS HINDMAN Public Works: Cleaned City Hall and Police Department; cut and maintained Helen Sams Parkway, Highway 92 South, South Jeff Davis Drive, Grady Avenue, Bradford Square, Beauregard Avenue, Redwine cart path, Ramah Road, museum area, Hood Avenue roundabout, medians at West Lanier Avenue from Grady Avenue to Meeting Place Drive, water tower area, Stonewall Avenue from Tiger Trail to Bennett Street, Melissa Segars Way to North Jeff Davis Drive, Church Street, fountain area, Church Street Park, inside amphitheater, Patriot Park memorial, and City Hall; performed the trash run; took down the storm-damaged picnic pavilion at Church Street Park; installed street sign on Rocky Knoll Trace; installed speed limit signs on Lester Road and Emily Park Sewer: Average daily flow treated was 2.1 million gallons per day; performed weekly maintenance at 26 lift station sites; maintained wastewater plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements. Water: Average daily flow of 1.53 million gallons of system demand; repaired seven water leaks; performed maintenance on 23 water meters; maintained water plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements. HUMAN RESOURCES DEPT. NELLA COOPER Personnel: Continuing with the implementation of the Performance Management and Performance Appraisals platform on ClearCompany; continuing to focus on COVID-19 and federal and state requirements relating to City employees; continuing to review various reports and updates related to COVID-19 in order to remain in compliance; keeping spreadsheet updated for potential City employee pandemic cases; requesting proper leave forms to be completed by employees who are out of work due to COVID-19-related absences; reviewed final documents from Georgia Municipal Employee Benefits System and preparing documents for City Council approval; planning the schedule of employee meetings to discuss the new proposed pension plan; completed the annual pension valuation for the upcoming year. Turn Over Report: There was one new hire, no terminations, and one employee status change from part-time to full-time.
