CITY CLERK’S OFFICE ANNE BARKSDALE Meetings: Attended Georgia Municipal Clerks Association (GMCA) Fall Board and Business Meeting Via Zoom 9/21; met with a third census taker to assist in their city count 9/21; met with Roof Connect Roofing to discuss repairs for City Hall roof. Projects: Worked on visitation and lunch plans for staff to visit New City Hall in October; assisted in set up of Public Works staff retreat for 9/21 & 9/22; worked with Public Information Officer to promote Shred/Electronic and Glass recycling event for 10/7; scheduled appointments for municipal court judge interviews; created notice for Called City Council meeting to be held 9/29. Open Records Requests: 11

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY KELVIN JOINER Work orders: 35 new, 60 closed. Projects: We are continuing to work on a list of technology needs for the new City Hall building; reviewing the audio/visual plan for the new City Hall; working on the documents retention project; TempDefend installation; Police Department records scanning and storage; researched Fleet Management Solutions; reviewed and responded to numerous e-mails throughout the week having to do with City projects. Meetings: Weekly new City Hall review; new City Hall onsite review; met with Innovation Committee to discuss fleet management solutions; new City Hall review meeting; meeting to discuss TempDefend system; meeting over security systems; e-mail security meeting.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BRIAN WISMER Economic Development: Continued deliberations for final right-of-way acquisition for the hospital-area bridge/trail project; attended Fayette County Development Authority monthly board meeting; attended Fayette Chamber of Commerce monthly board meeting; met with innovation committee to discuss fleet management solutions. Main Street: Final preparations for the Completely Unchained amphitheater concert; continued social media promotions for remaining September concerts; submitted offer for October 30 final concert; venue site tour for potential rental in September 2021; met with Southern Crescent Choral director, Janice Folsom, regarding the December 5, 2020 tree-lighting event. Downtown Development Authority: Met with HDF Museum staff regarding new operating hours and administration; met with Leslie Contracting to consider site work adjacent to the Lester House property.

POLICE DEPARTMENT SCOTT GRAY ¡ Completed the purchase of two Ford F-150 patrol trucks 9/21. ¡ Firearms training continued with CID and Command Staff 9/22. ¡ Citizens Police Academy session #2 covered Use of Force, and two additional citizen participants attended the class on 9/23. ¡ Staff meeting with departmental employees to distribute current information, and updates. Following this meeting a supervisor meeting was held 9/24. ¡ Assigned ten new handheld radios to replace the non-compatible radios for the new radio system that is forthcoming.

FIRE DEPARTMENT ALAN JONES Events: All shifts completed EMS in-service with ERTSS, and Air Evacuation for helicopter safety training. Projects: Fire Chief Alan Jones attended a 2-day Public Works Retreat held at the Wyndham Hotel and Conference Center in Peachtree City; Deputy Fire Chief Linda Black attended various webinars throughout the week with Georgia Department of Public Health officials and various other medical associations regarding COVID-19; Chief’s Jones and Black attended a meeting at City Hall with Edgewood Business Systems regarding temperature scanners; Chief’s Black and Matthews attended the Innovation Committee meeting to discuss fleet management solutions; Chief’s Jones and Black attended the retirement reception for Fayette County Fire Chief David Scarbrough, and the opening of the new Fayette County Fire Station 4; daily cleaning and sanitizing of selfcontained breathing apparatus masks and regulators continues; Battalion Chief Jeff Gable continues to update the COVID-19 Incident Action Plan; Division Chief Keith Harris setup interviews for two open firefighter positions.

PUBLIC SERVICES DEPT. CHRIS HINDMAN Public Works: Cleaned City Hall and Police Department; cut and maintained inside and outside of the Southern Ground Amphitheater; cut and maintained Stonewall Avenue from Tiger Trail to Bennett Street, West Lanier Avenue from Bennet Street to Tiger Trail, Helen Sams Parkway, and Dickson Springs Park; cleaned Public Works shop; picked up trash on White road; filled in erosion hole at 120 Squire Lane; attended Public Works Retreat on 9/21 & 9/22. Stormwater: pulled up forms and back filled behind the sidwalks in the LaFayette subdivision. Sewer: Average daily flow treated was 1.95 million gallons per day; performed weekly maintenance at 26 lift station sites; maintained wastewater plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements. Water: Average daily flow of 1.4 million gallons of system demand; repaired six water leaks; performed maintenance on 22 water meters; maintained water plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements. Utility Locates: 77

HUMAN RESOURCES DEPT. NELLA COOPER Personnel: Continuing with the implementation of the Performance Management and Performance Appraisals platform on ClearCompany; continuing to focus on COVID-19 and federal and state requirements relating to City employees; continuing to review various reports and updates related to COVID-19 in order to remain in compliance; keeping spreadsheet updated for potential City employee pandemic cases; requesting proper leave forms to be completed by employees who are out of work due to COVID-19-related absences; continuing to review and update various Administrative Policies for accuracy.
