CITY CLERK / DEPUTY CLERK ANNE BARKSDALE Meetings: Attended Monday staff meeting; Met with Floyd Jones in Fayette County Elections Office to discuss upcoming municipal election; Attended Georgia Records Association workshop (document scanning/preservation) in LaGrange; Met with Pitney Bowes tech to have new mail machine installed; Worked City Council meeting 11/7; Coordinated with manager at Bloom for Angel Christmas tree in City Hall. Projects: Managed Electronic Recycling/Shred Day at City Hall (9am-noon) 11/6; Finalized Shredding and Glass recycling events for Community Clean Up Day Saturday 11/9; Confirmed election results and updated council packet information for Council meeting on 11/7; Finalizing applicant list for board member positions; Wrapped up GovDeals sold asset list for Fire Department. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY KELVIN JOINER Work orders: 58 new; 67 closed. Projects: Continuing to work on a list of technology needs for the New City Hall building; Reimaged Police Department laptops; Working on new Police RMS system (continued); Maintenance on Police/Court access panels; Cell phone testing in City limits; New court server build. ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BRIAN WISMER Economic Development: Attended Transportation Committee meeting to discuss downtown road network. Main Street: Continued prep and marketing for 11/15 Frost Moon Festival; Promotions Committee began planning 2020 event calendar; Met with 92.5 FM The Bear to discuss 2020 marketing and sponsor program. Downtown Development Authority: Final preparations for 11/7 City Council agenda items. City Hall Project: Met with contractor to determine treatment for water leak in gym floor.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DAVID RAST Planning & Zoning: The Planning and Zoning Commission will meet next Tuesday, November 19 at 6 p.m. in City Council chambers. At present, the agenda includes the concept plat for the Fayette Meadows subdivision (Highway 92 and Highway 92 Connector) and the rezoning request for the Dixon Farms subdivision (Summit Drive); Staff is working on the final draft of the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) and will be scheduling workshops with the UDO Advisory Committee over the next few weeks. The public is invited and encouraged to attend these meetings.

POLICE DEPARTMENT SCOTT GRAY Community Engagement: C.A.R.E.* officers conducted a Homeowners Association meeting with the Grove Park subdivision. Training: Seven officers completed advanced training; One officer is still going through the police academy. The City of Fayetteville Police Department will be conducting entering auto and theft details during the holiday season at retail locations throughout the city.

FIRE DEPARTMENT ALAN JONES Community Engagement: Truck 9 assisted the Water Department at 165 Fenwyck Commons regarding drainage issues by flowing water into a storm drain and tracing the water flow, and no leak was detected in the drainage pipe; Units attended the 8th Grade Career Fair at Lafayette Educational Center; Units attended the Veterans Day recognition ceremony at Georgia Military College; Units assisted with the Community Cleanup Day event. Training: Division Chief Keith Harris and Battalion Chief Chris Peacock attended Situational Awareness training at the College Park Fire Department. Meetings: Fire Chief Alan Jones and Deputy Fire Chief Black attended Performance Management system meeting with City Manager Ray Gibson; Chief Jones attended meeting with Public Services Director Chris Hindman and resident at 165 Fenwyck Commons regarding drainage issues; Chief Jones attended GoToMeeting with Strongside Solutions. Projects: Safer Payment Request approved for $6,431.38 with additional payment request made for $345,003.86 (grant number EMW-2016-FH-00474); Lexipol continues the cross-referencing phase of our project. The next meeting will be on 11/12 at 9 a.m. (kick-off meeting).

PUBLIC SERVICES CHRIS HINDMAN Public Works: Cleaned city hall and police department; Cut and maintained City Lakes area, roundabout, East Lanier Avenue from North Jeff Davis Drive to Rosewood Drive, Grady Avenue, and Bradford Square, West Lanier Avenue from Burch Road to Grady Avenue, South Glynn Street in front of car wash, Jimmy Mayfield Boulevard middle medians, North Jeff Davis Drive medians, sidewalks and May Harp Park, the shop grounds and City Hall; Trash run on south Jeff Davis Drive and Redwine Road, and Church Street Park. Delivered tables to the Fire Department; Picked up Bates Avenue barricades. Sewer: Average daily flow treated is 2.165 million gallons per day; Performed weekly maintenance at 26 lift stations sites; Maintained wastewater plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements. Water: Average daily flow of 1.020 of system demand; Repaired nine water leaks; Performed 15 water meter maintenance, Maintained water plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements. Utility Locates: 65
HUMAN RESOURCES NELLA COOPER Personnel: We are continuing with the implementation of the Performance Management and Performance Appraisals platform on ClearCompany; We will begin setting up training for all users in ClearCompay for recruiting, onboarding, performance management and appraisals; We are continuing the marketing campaign for the upcoming benefits offering for the January 1 plan year. Turn Over Report: There were no new employees hired and one employee termination during the week of November 4-10, 2019.
