CITY CLERK / DEPUTY CLERK ANNE BARKSDALE Meetings: Attended weekly staff meeting 10/7; Attended the Bloom ribbon cutting on 10/10. Projects: Sent out notices for Fayette County Board of Education ribbon cutting on 10/21; Working on final performance management information for City Clerk to submit to City Manager; Submitted board/committees announcement to legal organ, city website and facebook page, deadline for applications is 11/15; Set up Electronics Recycling/Shred Day for 11/6 at City Hall (9 a.m.-noon); Reviewed City cell phone usage and account changes; Worked with Comcast to resolve two customer issues. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY KELVIN JOINER Work orders: 25 new; 39 closed. Projects: Continuing to work on a list of technology needs for the New City Hall building; Upgraded access points at City Hall and Fire Headquarters; Prepped old computer equipment for GOV Deals in City Hall basement; Met with the City Manager on performance management goals; Met with Finance about online new customer registration and processing; Met on the use of cloud base phone system in the future.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BRIAN WISMER Economic Development: Prepared and submitted federal trails grant application to Atlanta Regional Commission. Main Street: Continued prep and logistics for October 26 Pumpkin Festival event, volunteers still needed!; Prep for monthly board meeting and Promotions Committee meeting on 10/15; Meeting with local radio stations to discuss marketing and sponsor recruitment partnership for amphitheater concerts in 2020. Downtown Development Authority: Continued preparations for upcoming Cemetery Walk at Fayetteville City Cemetery; Prep for monthly board meeting on 10/16. City Hall Project: Continued coordination with interested developers and contractors to rehab the old high school gym and bus barn; Coordination between building department and New South Construction to obtain demo permits for project site.

PIO / COMMUNICATIONS TEAM ANN MARIE BURDETT Promotions: Fayetteville Pink Out Day 10/18; The Great Pumpkin Festival 10/25-27; Cemetery Walk 10/18-19; Shred/Recycle events 11/6 & 11/9. Events Covered: Milestones ribbon cutting; Bloom ribbon cutting. Meetings: PIO met with City Manager to discuss peformance management goals. Event Planning: FCHS engagement opportunities; City-wide cleanup day 11/9. Projects: Revised and completed Main Street promotional materials for the Great Pumpkin Festival; Conducted and filmed six interviews as part of the City Hall & City Center Park video project; Continued to work on the October issue of the City News magazine; Developed six digital media graphics; Continued to review, evaluate, and make recommendations to Web Developer to improve the design and user experience for the website pages as part of the website redesign project. POLICE DEPARTMENT SCOTT GRAY Community Engagement: The C.A.R.E.* unit is preparing for the Fall Festival on 10/18 at the Fayette County Justice Center; C.A.R.E. and other Fayetteville Officers attended a photo shoot at Piedmont Fayette Hospital for their 2020 Beardiful Calendar; C.A.R.E. and several Fayetteville Officers attended the Coffee with a Cop at Bojangles on Thursday morning. Training: Two officers are attending the Police Academy at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center; Officer Berenyi and Officer Hogan were sworn in by Chief Gray; Officer Berenyi and Officer Hogan started their FTO training on A-Team. We have seen another upswing in entering autos, please lock your doors at night. We have been conducting surveillance operation in an attempt to catch these individuals. *Community Activity Resource and Education Unit (C.A.R.E.)
FIRE DEPARTMENT ALAN JONES Community Engagement: Engine 92 provided friendly firefighter/firetruck tour for Hopebridge Open House; Truck 9 provided friendly firefighter/firetruck tour at Lowes. Personnel: Completed eight board interviews for one Firefighter position. Training: All shifts attended vertical ventilation training at the old BOE building; Chief Jones attended training for Certified Public Manager. Meetings: Chief Black attended the 911 quarterly board meeting.

PUBLIC SERVICES CHRIS HINDMAN Public Works: Cleaned City Hall, Police Department; Cut and maintained South Jeff Davis, North Jeff Davis, Knight Way, South Glynn Street from Fisher St., to Bradley Drive, Beauregard and Grady Ave, middle medians on Jimmie Mayfield, City Hall, Hwy 314, Stonewall Ave., Hood Ave. and Forrest Ave. round about, City lots on Stonewall Ave., Depot area; Work order to clean up dirt on Lockmeade Way; Work order to fill in dirt on Bonnie Lane; Work order to patch a pot hole on Commerce Drive; Trash run on White Rd. Sewer: Average daily flow treated is 2.116 million gallons per day; Performed weekly maintenance at 26 lift stations sites; Maintained wastewater plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements. Water: Average daily flow of 1.132 of system demand; Repaired 12 water leaks, Performed 14 water meter maintenance; Maintained water plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements. Utility Locates: 78
HUMAN RESOURCES NELLA COOPER Personnel: We are continuing with the implementation of the Performance Management and Performance Appraisals platform on ClearCompany; We will begin setting up training for all users in ClearCompay for recruiting, onboarding, performance management and appraisals; We are continuing the marketing campaign for the upcoming benefits offering for the January 1 plan year. Turn Over Report: There were two new employees hired and no employee terminations during the week of October 7 - October 13.
