CITY CLERK / DEPUTY CLERK ANNE BARKSDALE Meetings: Management Team 2/10; Command Staff 2/10; City Council Retreat 2/1314. Projects: Finalized shirt/uniform order for staff; prepared proclamation for Mayor Johnson to present at Fayette County Women in Business event; scheduled annual purge for records retention. Open Records Requests: 6
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY KELVIN JOINER Work orders: 25 new; 29 closed. Projects: Continuing to work on a list of technology needs for the New City Hall building; installed five new desktops for Court; camera replacement at Police Department; built presentation for City Council Retreat; performed Office 365 research; helped update goals in new software. Meetings: Attended International City/County Management Association leadership training; hosted a workflow meeting with Planning & Zoning Department staff; Office 365 meeting.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BRIAN WISMER Economic Development: Attended City Council Retreat 2/13-14; Met with property owner about downtown road network options; Unified Development Ordinance Committee meeting 2/10; Incentives discussion for downtown project. Main Street: Continued preparation of the Amphitheater 2020 Concert Series, including graphic design; met with architects to discuss vision for gym and bus barn projects; met with EasterPalooza team for event planning. Downtown Development Authority: Continued discussions on downtown real estate options.

POLICE DEPARTMENT SCOTT GRAY Training: Four officers attended advanced training at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center. Criminal Incident: Three male subjects pistol-whipped and robbed two victims in the parking lot of J. R. Crickets at 840 South Glynn Street. Officers conducted a traffic stop with the suspect vehicle at the intersection of North Glynn Street and East Lanier Avenue, and two suspects were arrested. The third suspect stole one of the victims’ vehicles, which was later recovered in DeKalb County. Projects: The Police Department has submitted a traffic grant application to the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety. Event: Chief Scott Gray attended the City Council Retreat 2/13-14.
FIRE DEPARTMENT ALAN JONES Events: Placed the department’s new Quick Response Vehicle into service 2/14. It will be based at Station #91, and it will be used primarily for medical calls. It can also function as a brush truck. All shifts participated in joint training with Fayette County Department of Fire & Emergency Services at the Fayette County Burn Lab. Projects: Deputy Chief Linda Black and Division Chief Chris Peacock continued work on the Lexipol Project; Chief Alan Jones attended the City Council Retreat 2/1314; Deputy Chief Black and Division Chief Harris attended a meeting at the Fayette County 911 Center along with representatives from Fayette County Department of Fire & Emergency Services and the Peachtree City Fire Department to establish Fire Service Communications Guidecards, which will be submitted to and approved by the Association of Public Safety Communications Officials International.

PUBLIC SERVICES CHRIS HINDMAN Public Works: Cleaned City Hall and the Police Department; repaired curb at 280 Woodbyne Drive; cleaned out storm drain on Buckeye Lane; city-wide trash run; investigated pipe issue at Cornwallis Way; barricades placed at Redwine fence; repaired potholes at 155 Virginia Highlands; five potholes between Jimmie Mayfield and Helen Sams Parkway; four potholes between Hunters Lane and Meadowbrook Way; investigated drain pipe repair at 175 Stratford Way; cleaned storm drains and checked for blockages at hot spots throughout the City; cleaned in and around the shop. Sewer: Average daily flow treated is 2.499 million gallons per day; performed weekly maintenance at 26 lift stations sites; maintained wastewater plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements. Water: Average daily flow of 1.415 million gallons of system demand; repaired three water leaks; performed 15 water meter maintenance; maintained water plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements. HUMAN RESOURCES NELLA COOPER Personnel: Continuing with the implementation of the Performance Management and Performance Appraisals platform on ClearCompany; continuing with roles set-up and goals alignment with job roles; initial 1095-C forms have been generated and are under review. Turn Over Report: There were no employee hirings nor terminations during the Week of February 10-16.
