CITY CLERK / DEPUTY CLERK ANNE BARKSDALE Meetings: Attended document management teleconference 5/28; set up budget meetings for the week with City Council and staff. Projects: Working on scanning project to input documents into Laserfiche; prepared legal notice for GovDeals online auction; prepared City Council meeting agenda packet for June 4. Open Records Requests: 10

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY KELVIN JOINER Work orders: 27 new, 49 closed. Projects: Continuing to work on a list of technology needs for the new City Hall building; quotes for court room glass; added social media camera for court; working on project to improve utility billing work flow; document retention; court signature pads. Meetings: Multi-state Internet strategy; glass company for courtroom project; finance software upgrade; document management system vendor; finance system review dashboard.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BRIAN WISMER Economic Development: Continued management of testing/remediation on City Hall project site; attended Fayette Chamber of Commerce board meeting; began Unified Development Ordinance Appendix A review; reviewed latest executive orders for impacts on Downtown Fayetteville businesses; attended Atlanta Regional Commission meeting on Livable Centers Initiative updates. Main Street: Attended meeting for 2021 amphitheater design improvements; held teleconference with architects to revise Alleyway Project designs; reviewed latest edition of New World software in test mode; reviewed recent trends in hotel/motel revenues and budget impact.

Downtown Development Authority: Met with prospect for Lester House; worked on planning and policy development for reopening of the Holliday Dorsey Fife Museum.


PIO / COMMUNICATIONS TEAM ANN MARIE BURDETT Promotions: Amphitheater concert series; North Jeff Davis Drive National Register campaign. Meetings Attended: Communications Team 5/26; reviewed latest edition of New World software in test mode 5/26. COVID-19 COMMUNITY DISCOURSE Social media discussions of the coronavirus pandemic continue to decrease since a peak a few weeks ago. Much of the conversation centers around social distancing, the economy, and local graduations.

POLICE DEPARTMENT SCOTT GRAY ยก We saw a significant decrease in entering autos this past week. Please continue to lock your vehicles. ยก We did not have any protests or unrest over the weekend, despite false social media reports to the contrary. ยก We continue to monitor social media and other intelligence outlets to keep our citizens and City safe. ยก We received a large donation of N95 masks from Fellowship of Love Church and Love Works.

FIRE DEPARTMENT ALAN JONES Events: We displayed the American Flag for the Spring Hill Elementary School Fifth Grade Graduation, and we displayed it for the funeral for former Fayetteville Police Chief Ed Lynch. Captain testing is complete. We received large donation of N95 masks from Fellowship of Love Church and Love Works. Projects: Deputy Chief Linda Black attended various webinars throughout the week with Georgia Department of Public Health officials regarding COVID-19. Chief Black and Captain Josh Collins continue to work with our Medical Director Dr. Chris Edens, Fayette County, and the State of Georgia to maintain up-to-date COVID-19 information. Daily cleaning and sanitizing of self-contained breathing apparatus continues. Division Chief Jeff Gable continues to update the COVID-19 Incident Action Plan. Ballistic vests were issued to all employees.

PUBLIC SERVICES CHRIS HINDMAN Public Works: Cleaned City Hall and Police Department; cut and maintained area beside North Glynn Street, City Hall, Church Street Park, the Train Depot area, Gingercake Road, Brandywine Boulevard, the sidewalks from Burch Road to Grady Avenue, the Hood Avenue roundabout, the Highway 85 and Highway 314 medians, Veterans Parkway, and Lester Road; picked up trash in the downtown area and parks. Stormwater: Repaired sinkhole behind catch basin at 345 Jeff Davis Place; repaired catch basin at the entrance of Greenlea subdivision; barricaded Heritage Parkway due to sinkhole concern. Sewer: Average daily flow treated was 2.370 million gallons per day; performed weekly maintenance at 26 lift station sites; maintained wastewater plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements. Water: Average daily flow of 1.466 million gallons of system demand; repaired three water leaks; performed maintenance on 11 water meters; maintained water plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements. Utility Locates: 54

HUMAN RESOURCES NELLA COOPER Personnel: Continuing with the implementation of the Performance Management and Performance Appraisals platform on ClearCompany; continuing to focus on COVID-19 and federal and state requirements relating to City employees; continuing to participate in various COVID-19 webcasts in order to remain in compliance; keeping spreadsheet updated for potential City employee pandemic cases; requesting proper leave forms to be completed by employees who are out of work due to COVID-19-related absences.
