CREAT ION OF

I DE NT ITY The visual concept is adapted from Celtic, an ancient tribe that was closely related to the use of animal skins on daily basis from the BC. Celtic were the pioneers of the use of animal skins in raw material armor which use evolved as a primary need (clothes) and secondary need

(accessories) in the daily life. Celtic was known as a strong and ingenious in warfare, they were a great and civilized tribe and rich of cuture at that time. Leather, strong, ingenious and civilized. Those are CELTIC APPAREL weapons, now.


A clear zone is in place to make sure that other graphic material or type does not interfere or detract from the identity. This clear zone should also be the minimum when positioning the identity close to the edge of a page or trim area. The zone equates to a space that uses the width or height of `C' Âą as shown.

Beauty and aesthetics have been praised from time immemorial. The Golden Ratio / Golden Section / Devine Proportion is the most effective, perfectly balanced, and visually compelling creations followed the tid-bits of mathematics which is based of number phi (φ) = 1.618‌ (number phi was discovered by Italian Mathematician, Fibonacci) was proposed by German Physicist and Psychologist, Gustav

Theodor Fechner. They believe this proportion to be universally and aesthetically pleasing. The Golden Ratio plays an essential role in human perception of beauty. Playing by these rules produces an aesteticism that is universally accepted to be in balance and harmony. The CELTIC aesthetic respects these rules: The brand identity can be derived from two or more circles, that have a set relation to each other.

The basic shape of CELTIC Apparel is a representation of symbol from Celtic, infinity. The designer modifies the symbol with Golden Ratio which has exact and proportional circles based on mathematic formula. The modification brings negative space to Infiity shape, forming CELTIC Apparel logo in final.


TAGL I N E USAGE

“A Leather is Forever.� We believe that the use of animal skin in fashion has been doing from the pre historic time, in the present, and will always be in the future, then on... Forever.

There are two logo arrangements with the tagline: Version 1 shows the logo with a small tagline. The tagline should be space for a `C' to fit between logo and tagline.

Version 2 shows how the logo works with a large tagline. The width a half of `C' should fit between logo and tagline.


LO G O COLOR USAGE

The logo appear as single color: In corporate colors, basic black, or reversed (white pearl). They applied to colored backgrounds and images, and allow for more vitality and clarity during the application of the brand.
