Seems like the new year just started and here we are almost at the end of January. As January closes, so does the Lottie
From Your Moon International Mission Offering. My desire would have been to reach our goal and even go beyond it during the Christmas season. However, that didn’t happen. Pastor’s So we have extended the time to receive the offering and make our goal through January. I know how much the from this offering impacts the programs of our foreign missions work. The need to reach our world for Christ has Heart money never been greater and the mission work should increase not decrease. This is a time for our church to pull together in fulfilling our commitment to the International Mission program.
Jerry M. Henry, Ph.D Join Susan and me as we sacrifice to reach our goal. If you have already given, let me encourage you to give again. Pastor jhenry@fbcfairhope.org What can be done with our gifts can change a person’s life for eternity. May our church step up the opportunity that lies
before us.
Activities abound for this month. Children and Preschool programs are happening on Sundays and Wednesdays. The Students have Bible Study and worship on both of these nights. Also, our Sunday night worship service will focus on biblical characters that encourage our own walk with God. Wednesday night has several options available (see page three) and includes a time of Bible Study and prayer in the Pastor’s Bible Study. All of these are designed to help you grow stronger in your Christian Walk. My messages on Sunday morning will continue on Staying Strong in the Christian Life. Don’t drift or fade away. Be intentional in growing in youR walk with the Lord. The rewards are measured in eternal benefits. May God bless each of you. Your Pastor, Jerry Philippians 1:6

Bible Drill resumes this Sunday, January 10th from 5-7 pm. We are excited your child has chosen to be a part of what I consider one of the best things we do… to help kids store God’s Word in their hearts. With this opportunity comes a high responsibility on the part of the participant, as well as on you the parent. Truth is, without parental support at home during the week, drillers are rarely successful on the competition stage. I can spot a child who practices at home from a mile away. It makes such a difference. Please invest in the best – God’s Word and your greatest gift, your child as you model scriptural discipline alongside them by helping them learn God’s word. Thanks parents for all you do in making todays children look like Jesus. Our first competition will be Wednesday, March 23rd at 5:00 pm in the sanctuary. Associational drill will follow on Wednesday, April 6th at FBC Foley, and District Bible drill will be Monday, April18th at College Park Baptist in Mobile. (Times for Foley and Mobile TBD) See you at Bible drill this week!

Financial Blessings
We praise God for the way He has blessed our church in 2015 through the generous giving of our congregation.
