Jeff Cleghorn, Music Evangelist Wednesday, September 7 6:30pm/Fellowship Hall

Jeff Cleghorn is a dynamic musician and an incredible keyboard artist that will be speaking and performing for us on the first Wednesday night in September. Jeff, a native of Georgia, has many degrees in the ministry and has been involved in music since 1988. He is committed to providing music that is, above all, honoring to the Lord. Jeff has performed at many conferences such as The Bailey Smith Real Evangelism Conferences and has played for Phil Waldrep Celebrators’ Conferences. His primary commitment is to exalt the Savior and it will surely be evident as Jeff plays the piano and leads us in worship. Come be inspired and uplifted by Jeff Cleghorn on Wednesday, September 7 in the Fellowship Hall.

A Sweet Greeting...

A good bit of those attending worship make their way by the welcome center for a piece of candy. If you would like to help our greeters with their candy supply feel free to drop off a bag at the welcome center any Sunday. Thanks!

This December will mark the end of our 3 year “A FUTURE WORTH THE SACRIFICE” Capital Campaign. As we approach the end of this campaign we want to encourage you to fulfill your pledge. If you aren’t sure where you stand in your giving, please contact Kay Chatham in the Financial Office (928-8685) and she can help you. If you are a newer member and did not make an initial pledge, you can still help us as we reach toward our goal of $2,400,000 by making a significant contribution as well. This current campaign was designed to help us pay down our current Sanctuary building debt, help put funds aside to help with our future Preschool / Children’s Building / Renovation project, help with major repairs, equipment needs and upgrades to our facilities, and to help fund more missions projects through our Acts 1:8 Challenge. As a result of our people’s faithfulness we have been able to accomplish many of these goals and we look forward to seeing how much we will have on hand to help when our 10 year Note for the Sanctuary comes due at the end of this year and how much we will have to put toward our future Preschool / Children’s Building project. The Budget Committee will be meeting this Fall to look at how our campaign has done, what to do concerning our current building note when it comes due, and what to do concerning our future Preschool / Children’s Building project along with our Preschool / Children’s Building Team. Please be praying for them as they look at all these important financial matters for our church and watch for more information in the coming months. FIRST EDITION | 6
