Luxembourg Luxembourg For Finance (Luxembourg For Finance) History and Governance structure: The Luxembourg For Finance (LFF) partnership was founded in 2008, and acts as the Agency for the Development of the Luxembourg Financial Centre. Luxembourg for Finance is a public-private partnership between the Luxembourg Government and the Luxembourg Financial Industry Federation (PROFIL).

Objectives: The Partnership’s main objective is to develop Luxembourg’s financial services industry and identify new business opportunities. LFF connects international investors to the range of financial services provided in Luxembourg.

Priorities for 2020: A priority for LFF is the development of a public-private Luxembourg Sustainable Finance Initiative and the implementation of a national sustainable finance strategy to help further stimulate the local and global industry in mainstreaming and growing sustainable finance.

3 Highlights, facts or figures: 1. Luxembourg is home to the first and only exchange platform in the world dedicated to sustainable, green and social securities, the Luxembourg Green Exchange (LGX).

2. 61% of all global microfinance fund assets are domiciled in Luxembourg.

3. The financial centre acts as a leading international platform for sustainable finance, supporting a range of activities from responsible investment funds and blended finance to green bond listings and ESG fund labelling.
