Message from the Ambassador of France to Singapore For 13 years in a row, France has proudly hosted two pavilions on CMA and BCA, the largest Asian ICT exhibitions and a regional gathering of the world’s leading users, providers and players in technology and innovation. In 2015, the French delegation, which has been set up jointly by the FCCS and by Business France, the Trade Commission of the Embassy, continues to be dynamic with about 22 SMEs and large companies showcasing their latest technologies and cutting-edge innovations. Thanks to major French technology companies, a thriving network of SMEs and entrepreneurs, and highly recognised engineering schools, France has become a pioneer in telecommunications, media, mobile applications, innovative solutions and it is a key player in technological shifts such as big data, cloud and analytics. Given our synergies, France is strongly committed to developing long-term partnerships with Singapore and South-East Asian companies, to seize all the opportunities of a globalised market with convergent needs in the new technologies. To develop a common and new value added with the Singaporean players is definitely a great opportunity. Message from the President of the FCCS Once again, the FCCS has the privilege of organising the 13th edition of the two French pavilions at CommunicAsia and BroadcastAsia 2015. The active involvement of the 22 French companies exhibiting under our pavilions this year demonstrates the innovation of French technology companies as well as the importance and influence of these two international tradeshows in the region. Both events focus on emerging technologies, with CommunicAsia dedicated to mobile applications, NFC and mCommerce, OTT, smartphones & devices, telecom power solutions and many others, and BroadcastAsia mainly showcasing technologies on Cloud Broadcasting, Satellite Broadcasting, Digital Media Asset Management, Pro Audio Technology, Video Content Delivery Network. We believe that the show will deliver an incredible value to the French exhibitors and that they will benefit fully from their presence within the French Pavilions. We invite you all to visit them at Marina Bay Sands, Basement 2 for CMA and at the levels 4 and 5, for BCA. We are also pleased to announce the 6th edition of the ICT Awards, co-organised by the FCCS and Business France, with the kind support of local partners such as SingTel, MediaCorp, and the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore. Wednesday 03 June 2015 Business France, the French Embassy in Singapore and FCCS have decided to support the French companies exhibiting on the French Pavilions by granting several awards selected by a Franco-Singaporean jury board: The France Singapore ICT Awards. For the 6th edition, with our Singaporean counterpart International Enterprise (IE Singapore), we continue to open the awards ceremony to Singaporean companies to set up a constructive and long-lasting dialogue between Singapore-Hub and France in the ICT sector.
