Frequently Asked Questions 1) Do I need to pay for my current Franklin College student to attend family weekend? No. Franklin College students and children under 5 years of age are free of charge. 2) Where can I pick up my shirts? Pre-ordered shirts will be available at check-in. We conveniently place all your shirts in one bag for easy management. 3) If I did not order shirts, but decide later I want them, can I still get them? Extra shirts will be available for purchase on a first come, first served basis at check-in all weekend long. We cannot guarantee specific sizes or quantities, and will only have the short sleeved t-shirt option available. 4) When will my pottery be ready? Pottery is available a few weeks after Family Weekend. Your student will be notified via his or her Franklin College email that they can pick it up in the Student Activities Center. 5) Is there a limit to the number of family and friends who can attend? No, the more the merrier! 6) I can only attend one day. Can I still attend? Do I still need to pay full price? You can absolutely still attend. When you register, be sure to indicate which events you plan on attending so we can have an idea of when we will be welcoming you to campus. Whether you attend one day or both days, the fee is still $15 per guest over 12 years of age and $5 per guest between 5-11 years of age. 7) What does the registration fee cover? Our registration fee is all inclusive— it includes all meals, events, and sessions on our schedule. Be sure to register for as many events as you plan on attending. 8) If I did not indicate that I would be attending an event on my registration form, but change my mind later, can I still attend? With the exception of the Saturday morning brunch, you may attend any of the events even if you did not register for them. We ask that you please register for the events you plan on attending so we can better plan for space and supplies. 9) I have a question that is not answered in this brochure. Whom should I contact? Questions about Family Weekend can be directed to the Student Activities Center at 317-738-8096. The Student Activities Center is staffed from 8 am to 12 pm, Monday through Friday.
