Begur Road: A Hotspot for Affordable Properties in 2015 Bangalore markets are relatively affordable than its other counterparts namely MMR and Delhi-NCR. Connectivity Boosting Residential Growth There are several areas and stretches in the city that offer apartments within the affordable price range. These areas are usually far from the city centre and the established micro-markets, but usually in close proximity to IT/ITeS hubs of the city. Begur Road is one such stretch, which is close to Electronic City. The stretch provides excellent connectivity to the surrounding areas. Not only does it connect several areas, but it also easily accessible and connected to some major roads in the city such as NICE Corridor, Hosur Road, Bannerghatta Road and Jigani Road. The stretch has seen significant growth in social infrastructure in recent years with good accessibility to several schools, hospitals and shopping malls. All these factors have made Begur Road a real estate hotspot over the last few years. Maximum Options in Affordable Category According to CommonFloor Real Insights, Begur Road was a showstopper in 2015 as far as affordability was concerned. Besides witnessing the launch of few large-sized projects (>1,500 units) this year, it was also one of the top areas that offered maximum number of apartments in the affordable category. Add to this, the area was one of the top markets that saw highest price appreciation in Bangalore in 2015. Project prices on the stretch were in the range of Rs 3,4005,850 per sq. ft.
