feathers Spring / Summer — 2012
Dear Friends, Welcome to our Spring/Summer ‘12 Lookbook. This is a guide to share the details of what we fell in love with from the showrooms and catwalks across all four fashion capitals. You will find the designers we absolutely had to have on our shop floor, and I believe you will crave them just as much as we did for your wardrobes. On pages 4–5 you will be introduced to our very special Brit Pack — a nod to the optimistic, innovative, vibrant and unique British creativity that lead to London hosting some of the industry’s most talked about shows. The unanimous pride in watching our homegrown talent create such a buzz was overwhelming, and we couldn’t be happier to house them under our Knightsbridge and Notting Hill store roofs. Fashion has not been the only passion to occupy us these past few months. In November, we celebrated the launch of Nest in... f e a t h e r s , our new lifestyle and homeware addition nestled in our Westbourne Grove branch. Do come and visit, we’re positive you will love it as much us as we do! Take care and until next season...

THE Brit PAck
Introducing… The Brit Pack! These are 10 London based designers that we couldn’t be prouder to have on our shop floor. Explore Mary Katrantzou’s hyperreal digi-prints and Peter Pilotto’s underwater adventures, or channel Marios Schwab’s film noir goddess. Add a touch of insouciance with Paul Smith’s louche tailoring. Or simply indulge your fashion fantasy with Antonio Berardi’s feminine-future hybrid, Emma Cook’s 80s redux, Markus Lupfer’s trompe l’oeil sequins, Richard Nicoll’s poptism, Roksanda Ilincic’s lady-like hues or J.W Anderson’s craft goes machine.
London Fashion Week was brilliant. It was explosive, it was exuberant, it was clever, it was youthful; but most importantly, it was desirable.
