ABOUT ME Graduated in architecture in October 2013, my passion lies in residential architecture and i am particularly interested about the processes of transformation of the existing residential habitat according to new social demands. During the year I spent in France I also developed an interest in participative residential forms and cohousing communities. I am used to working in teams, with experience in being both on the creative and the pragmatic sides within a group.

exploring space with light
Renovation project of a small Parisian studio 2013 realized project by BETILLON / DORVAL-BORY
What I did: Metric survey, concept and light analisys with Dialux, client contact during the preliminary phase Software I used: Dialux/Autocad/Indesign
A radical approach to lighting is at the basis for the study of this little flat in Paris. The core concept is to explore the space from an objective and scientific point of view, so the duality between high and low CRIs ( color rendering index ) becomes the distiguishing element of this space composition. How did we appropriately designed lighting for such a small piece of architecture, then? As both sources can be turned on independently, different lighting patterns appear, giving rise to unpredicted contrasts in casual areas of the flat. Designed in a plain and neutral fashion, it swallows any architectural expression or theme to only show the composition logic generated by light.

point of view
Renovation project of a house in Paris 2013 project by BETILLON / DORVAL-BORY
What I did: Metric survey, technical drawing and illustration for customers Software I used: Autocad/InDesign
This project was tailored to the custumer’s request, to rethink the layout of their old Parisian house’s living area and kitchen. Our answer was an extension of the kitchen in the garden introducing one massive element. In this way the garden goes into the house and vice versa to create a continuum.

Team competition for a school in Onet le Ch창teau 2013 project by BETILLON / DORVAL-BORY
What I did: drawing and illustration layout for competition Software I used: Autocad/InDesign
The principal goal of this competition was to restore the old primary school in Onet le Ch창teau, a town in southern France. Because the project site is close to the library designed by the same firm, we planned to use the link between the two to build a public space in a residential area.

PROMENADE EN PLEIN AIR
Natural park reception center in French Guiana 2015 project by Atelier D
What I did: PROJECT RENDERINGS, details for the executive project Software I used: REVIT/TWINMOTION
The project gives the opportunity to navigate, understand and experience the site in a culturally sensitive and friendly way. The paths are more than simple routes, but they were designed according to function, archaeological excavations, topography and points of view. The hall building allows visitors to access activities and services, while managing the natural space to protect and maintain with a sustainble approach. The building form is adapted to topography and is placed on the edge of a cliff to open a space around the archeological heritage.

ECOLOGICAL PATCHWORK
Competition for a landscape project in Santago, Chile 2015 project by Atelier-D
What I did: FUNCTIONAL figure ground and project renderings Software I used: ILLUSTRATOR/REVIT/TWINMOTION
Restoring Cerro Las Cabras allows to build on the natural equilibrium of the place. This project looks to preserve and protect the environment on multiple scales, from valley to house, and to promote economic development. Water and vegetation are key elements of the project, both are integral parts of the scene. The different exposures to the sun of the hillsides leads to different patterns of vegetation. This creates a mosaic of species adapted to clean up the soil in the most suitable way. Different services are located in the park like an agricultural business incubator, an educative farm, a swimming pool, and a skatepark according to the results of surveys.

dall’abitare sociale all’abitare condiviso from residential to hybrid spaces
A redevelopment of public space and surrounding complex to meet new social demand 2013 thesis project - La Palma - Cagliari
Software I used: Autocad/rhinoceros/cinema4d/ photoshop
This project is structured dually around public spaces and private homes. The overall aim is to improve the quality of currently nonexistent open space and adapt the 50-year-old flats to better suit contemporary needs. A spatial hierarchy is established in what is currently an oversized parking lot, the intimate meaning of the central courts is recreated, and various activities are planned to take place within them, and as requested by the residents themselves, most of the space is to be used as communal gardens and for urban farming. Most of the residential units are transformed into a wider array of diversified, more flexible housing types, easily rearrangeable according to evolving requirements. Services for the community are introduced and studio flats have been added likewise to increase the variety in accomodations.
