Authors must pre-register with this form and be paid in full before August 15TH, 2012 for September Session .
One book must be donated to the school library.
No books should be priced over $15.00 (remember this is an URBAN school)
Authors may have give away items at their tables. It’s a good way to get referrals.
Reading time should be capped at 25 minutes leaving 20 minutes for closing discussion and break down.
Sales sheets will go home twice: one week prior to the class you will read to and one week after to 4 third grade classes, 4 fourth grade classes, and 4 5th grade classes. Also if you choose parent’s night in November a flyer will go home to parents announcing that you will be in attendance; where you will have access to over 900 parents.
Please note that this reading program will continue up until the last month of school. Each month there will only be a chosen 12 authors reading time and 8 authors (max) for Parent’s night. If you are interested in another month please send inquiry to: LETSTALKURBAN@GMAIL.COM.
