Community News: Shark Preservation Week

Join Cox Science Center and Aquarium for an adventurous under the sea exploration! During Shark Preservation Week Saturday, July 23rd - Friday, July 29th. In Partnership with The American Shark Conservancy (ASC). ASC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation of sharks and rays, increasing awareness and understanding of our oceans, through research and education.

Activities include: Touch Tank Demos, Shark tooth labs and Ocean-themed crafts. Aquarium feeding at 1 PM. Planetarium shows throughout the day (Adults & Children: $5, FREE for members). Food and refreshments available for purchase at Nuts About Sugar. Friday July 29th will be a special Sea-fari Night at the Museum event - (Friday July 29th, 6-9pm additional fee applies).
